Thank you for listening! We hope to get back to pub singing as soon as it would be safe, but have been unable to for almost two years. Please enjoy perusing our channel and singing along.
@@ChrisBrunelle we resumed indoor pub sings in spring of 2023. The return has been wonderful and glorious. Numbers are down a little as some are at higher risk and wary of crowds. Every month a few people are sick and wisely stay home. I’ve missed two sessions with a cold so have not been posting as many new videos as I’d like. But we are back!
We're in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA (and Minneapolis, collectively the Twin Cities). We're about as far from an ocean as possible so we can only sing about sailing. Glad to have you join us online and there's lots of songs to listen to!
I've gotta get out there. I've got relatives up in Alexandria, over in Forest Lake, and a couple other nearby spots. I don't really talk to them but it would be an excuse to go to this bar ;-)
@@dschoene57 I don't know, it sounds pretty consistent all the way through, like someone who's closest to the mic (the person filming). It happens when I record something on my phone and I'm singing along, you can hear my voice the most.
Lord Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, and all the angels and saints in Heaven! What an amazing piece of music. That man’s voice, and the way he gets into the song, are overwhelming. Wish I’d been there to experience it in person.
I really like singing although I suck at it, but then again it doesn't matter. Singing together with people is something that's not done often enough. It's so amusing, makes people happy, oh fuck I can't express it enough. I wanna go to this kinda bars so bad.
Thank you for listening! Our group started out small and grew over six years, and we found a bar that was happy to host a bunch of jolly people who drink beer. It's worked out very well.
Yes, thankfully. We sing at two pubs. This one is in St. Paul and we also sing in Minneapolis. Both pubs are still in business but we have been enable to join together indoors for almost two years. We can't wait to resume singing all together.
Singing in a bar like this is definitely on the bucket list
