Back then when I played the underground games, these wide body kits fascinated the hell out of me! I was enamored by their designs!
It’s an obvious fact that some bodykits here then made their way into the later games, as well as some widebodies are based on the racecars as well
Some kits even returned from UG1 as well
If I’m not mistaken, any cars that are in multiple games share at least one bodykit. The skyline for example has vapor and mantis in UG1, 2 and Carbon. The 350z also has Mantis in all 3 although its slightly different in Carbon. Really and truly there was a a lot of recycling
@@gothamcitygoon2491 Not really they only kept around good looking ones. Many kits in UG2 are just hedious. Lots of concept art for Most Wanted is focused on making good looking bodykits. Granted some might still be a bit iffy but you got a better selection with always soemthing decent for every car in most wanted. Not so much with UG2 and new csrs introduced in it.

Some of them are in Nfs Carbon but either the front bumper or back bumper were changed.

I actually think Nissan Skyline should have mantis and Mazda rx7 should have Armageddon...in my opinion but yours is good too
Back when body kits were actual new body panels that basically turned the cars into race cars, and not just rivetted on dogshit like the rocket bunny stuff that's all the rage now for whatever reason. We had it so much better back here and now everybody's content with second place.

In career mode, these parts are not for sale, you have to win 11 outruns in Stage 5 and do that special event, but remember, this ONLY applies to one car, so think which car you want to put a wide body kit on before attempting it because that body kit can't be transferred to other cars you own.
Some of them are unattractive, but others look like transformers and batmobiles

There are very few nice bumpers and body kits in the game. The majority of bumpers and body kits are really ugly and give the car a disgusting look.

The widebody required to defeat 15 (I guess) to unlock the event. And rush to the body shop before the time ends. (In story mode) If you just wanted to see the bodykit, just finishi all the event

Fun fact: In some version, the SUV's were supposed to have wide kits too ( as I was looking around to convert the Escalade to MW, I found only door remains of "KitW01" to "KitW04"
