hi charvel. i own 3 so-cal style 2 guitars. i love them so much and thank your making them. it would be nice to get more of them with diff colors and higher end models with the greg koch single coils and stainless steel frets..
Please give us a left handed model! I'd love the white one left handed. The left handed options are very limited and haven't been updated in over a year.
I have the weathered orange and i love it. It plays so easy and sounds great. The finish is awesome. I only wish it had Stainless steel frets. It'd be perfect.
Incredible sounding and looking but, FR 1000 and Pau Ferro? Big miss there. If these had roasted maple neck, rosewood/ebony fretboard and FR1500 I’d be sold.
I made my own Charvel relic by dropping and knocking my orange Promod DK24 all over my practice space for a few years. Could’ve used a thicker finish to be honest.
I have a request; Is it possible to get this San Dimas Relic model with the specifications of the Charvel LTD SC 1 Henrik Danhage Relic? Reason is, I hate that cheap plastic cover on the Stratocaster. The San Dimas model is exactly my thing.
Hey Matt Brown, how about some love for the players who prefer a hardtail, HUH!? We get jack every time Charvel releases a new model EVERY F'IN TIME!! Hey WE like relics too, man! 😅 Just saying it's something you should think about, serious.
Not only a pain to deal with, I've noticed a trend when testing these guitars in guitar stores, that hardtail versions are noticeably better sounding than FR and tremolos. For me it was such a big difference, that I've easily resigned from dives and other whammy bar tricks. Moreover, I would love to see more DK24 iterations. I've wanted San Dimas at first, but comparing them San Dimas are much more bulky, and nowhere near as comfy in high positions as DK24s - their body cuts are perfect!
I think the issue with non-relic is that the process is messy, meaning you’ll always have some level of little nicks. It would be a “closet clean relic” at best
Love Charvels, but the paint wear pattern is identical on these, and frankly I just don't get it (just my personal taste) why someone would want a fake reliced guitar in the first place when what we all should be doing is shutting up and playing our guitars - something that in the fullness of time will result in our very own personal dings, dents, and wear patterns, with their very own authentic stories to tell - provided we play the shit out of our guitars, like we should.
Dude ain't nobody realistically ever getting that type of relicing unless you're a highly touring guitar player. Which most people aren't, that's the appeal for relic and I think some guitars even look way better relic.
@@BodhiSoftMobileAppsdude you absolutely can’t. Most guitars are poly finish nowadays. I'm not into relics but one thing that would make this line look more authentic is NO SEYMOUR DUNCAN DECAL on the pickups.
