This is my favorite lens. I know there are better lenses out there. But it is the most impressive lens Iv ever used/owned. For 900 dollars. You get some incredible quality images out of this thing. It loses no sharpness through the zoom range. The lens is lightweight and durable. The plastic is amazing. I love the texture and look of the plastic. It has this texture in it that makes it so you can’t leave fingerprints on it. It stays grippy even when your hands are sweaty. The zoom ring is butter smooth all the way up and down. The focus motor is lightning fast and works insanely well with my a6000 that I refuse to upgrade. I love it. For 900 bucks. I never thought I could get something like this. The sealing is also very good on it. It’s possible that dust gets in eventually. But it’s much better sealing than tamron and sigma. Even the canon lenses can be rather loose fitting and get dust in them. Not this one those. This thing is tight.
nice vid and shots, i’m using a6100 and choosing between the tamron 70-300 ($500) and this sony 70-350 ($900), is the OSS on the sony lens really needed when taking handheld photos especially on the higher focal length since the 6100 haa no ibis,
I think for photos you can easily get away with no oss, if you were more into video work then I would say to get the oss as it does really help out a lot. I think youll be able to still achieve great photos at extended focal lengths with no ibis or oss.
@@PatrickS. Thank you sir!, wanting to start wildlife/bird photography but telephoto and zoom lens with focal length of 300mm and above are super expensive
@@RonAhL You're welcome! Yeah telephotos are unfortunately pretty pricey and are a big investment. I was first going to purchase the sigma 100-400, but that was around $1200ish and a bit out of my budget. So opted for the sony 70-350 and have absolutely loved it. Tamron makes great lenses so i have no doubt the 70-300 would give you some great photos.
Hi dude, love your shots 🤘🏼 I was wondering if it's 70-350mm oder 105-525mm on APSC since Sony always has them larger mm on their website. It is only usable on APSC so the focal lenght is as the name sais, isn't it? 🥴
Thankyou! So ya because this is a crop sensor camera, the actual full frame equivalent for this lens is around 105-525mm like you said. So you do get more reach with this apsc model lens then you would with a full frame 70-350.
I would 100% recommend the a6000, the photo guality is very good for the money! Its a 7 year old camera and I still use it now cause its so good! Im going to be putting together a review video in the next few days for the a6000, so keep an eye out for that! Any other questions, feel free to ask.
@@PatrickS. Thank a lot for the response and I had onemore qn actually. Does the lens options for Sony emount are costlier than that available for any other budget canon's or Nikon's ??
@@saivinay1787 i would say canon has a bigger lineup of more budget frendly lenses. Sony emount lenses are priced a bit higher, but have more of a variety. As for nikon, i dont really know enough about their system to comment.
hello, i have maybe stupid question but... can u send me 2 raws from this session? i try to search raws from sonya6000 + sony e70-350 because i need to know how quality this set can do photos. ( sorry for english maybe it is not good enough )
Just bought this lens and im amazed of the focal lenght. Its absolutely amazing. Im just wondering is there any way how to make money with this photography except stock images? I use my 50mm f1.8 for most of my photos, but this is just so much more fun to use and i love it. Thank you also your video was awesome. Such a great vibe and beautiful images. Thank you!

@@PatrickS. Yeah i found the 50 amazing for portraits, but i dont find the 70-350 as big of a use of portraits and i was wondering if you can make money with like landscape and telehpotography. But thank you for replying even after a year of uploading. Good luck!
@@Rivenium if you zoom into like 300mm+ and your shooting a person, you can create a lot of subject seperation, its a look i really love and i find its makes for a pretty flattering portrait. I think you should think about what you want to shoot with it, if you want to shoot more wildlife i would go for the 100-400. But if you are just looking for a fun lens to just shoot basically anything, i would go for the 70-350. I love it as an all around, and it basically lives on my camera.
Hey! So the a6000 doesnt have body stabilization. But on cameras that do have it. You dont have to shut it off when using a stabilized lens. Having both body stabilization and lens stabilization will give you the best possible performance.

great shots and cool editing style! …one of the few NATURE pov photographers 🙌
Thankyou so much!
Absolutely stunning views. Now I know exactly why some guys have two cameras with tele and wide lenses.
Thank you for creating and uploading .
Awesome! I bought the 70 - 350 yesterday :)

A question, what is your aspect ratio on your camera?
I use the 4x3 aspect ratio, because it uses the entire censor and produces the best quality!

I think I'll be using my tripod anyway, I don't have shaky hands but I feel more inclined to take quality over quantity when using a tripod
