Good for you!!! I’ve done something similar. I’m 52 and my neighbor and his brother have a handful of race cars and after a cpl years of hounding them and them bumping up in classes, I got the call. So as it stands, I have three races under my belt and am having a blast! Looking forward to this season. Years back, I did do a cpl seasons road racing, drag racing and even back of the pack outboard hydroplane racing, but nothing comes close to the driving style on short dirt tracks in a 4 cylinder fwd. last race of the season, as luck would have it, I sat on the pole. I did my best to fend off other racers that had modified power plants and whatnot, I ended 4th on a 30 lap race. I’m pretty proud of that. Race is posted on my channel if interested.😁👍
You did a great job the first time out!!!! My first time out was last June, and its been an itch that I cant scratch enough lol. It isn't about winning, its about getting out there and having fun!
