Also we had a comment one saying that chow mein was an American Chinese dish and not real, well you're kind of right, the work Chow Mein comes form Chaomin, the Cantonese word for fried noodles, which as has no become known as Chow Mein in western society, however Chaomin or in Mandarin it is Chaomian, have been cooked in China for 2,250 years, and wasn't invented in the US in the 1800... That was Chop Suey, where they threw everything at the end of the night into a pan and served that as that's all they had left.
