Håller med. SJukt tråkigt att se halva byggen på Elmia. Man kan ha en tävling där med att gå runt och kika på hur många icke körbara bilar som folk släpat dit. Sjukt tråkigt även om det kan ligga en hel del jobb där bakom.

I've been watching you for quite some time, and it's interesting how the lambo engine looked like you were going to have to work to make it fit and now it looks right at home. Like it was always this way. You do very good work.
People like Peter make the world a better place. If you have the skills, I can't think of any better use for a V10 engine than using it to get a bit more performance out of such a great car! I grew up with Volvo wagons, drive one now and was born in 1975. Irrelevant in some ways but to me makes this great project more special.

Sleeper cars are a blast.
I believe the pistons are milled out mostly to *reduce heat transfer" (between the pads and the fluid rather than to save weight. They're titanium for the same reason (even though it also has a positive impact on weight)

You can spray some paint in the paint cap that way you don't have to open the whole can. Awesome videos keep it up. I love seeing the progress on these projects.

Du löser säkert problemet med servot, annars finns det en liknande lösning från bl.a bmw E28 535 där det först går genom ett block som fördelar mellan styrning och broms, det har fungerat bra för mig, hade inte heller plats med vakuumservo.

Could you show how to tune that R8? I would like to know roughly how its done. I've heard that there's not volymetric efficiency maps but torque based tuning. I'm curious because I have 3.0tfsi a6

Did you weld it with gas and oil inside the damper?
You weld a pipe with threads inside, and the damper screws in the pipe after that 😄
These were sleeves though most ones for the Volvo's you indeed just weld the entire shock on

i'm sure that car has earned it's patina, and wears it well.
there is no better sales pitch than a polite, well-mannered swede asking his devout disciples to politely to buy some merch.
it's up to you when and how to plug-in to the western US car scene. I, for one, will continue to enjoy and consume your content at this throughput. however, there are others who are eager to drink from the proverbial BJP firehose. when can we haz more?!

I originally thought it would be a specialized machine to bore the piston pockets in a monoblock caliper, but it was a 90 degree attachment on the spindle of a standard CNC machine when I saw it being done. It looked like an oversized 90 degree drill attachment for a hand drill.
Would love to see more ECU tuning in the future, when you are on a drag strip.
I appreciate staying with Motec given the investment of time you’ve made, but Haltech are a dream to deal with and their support is great too. The Nexus should be capable of handling the V10

The Brakes cross over pipe is needed. There is no internal passage on these calipers to push fluid to both sides. Thats why has 2 ports at bottom. The pipe they have attached is odd going back to the brake line connector as cross over pipe should be to both bottom ports.

I had the same loose steering rack on my volvo 245. I thought i needed a new rack, i was happy to find i just needed to tighten the fasteners

looking at those cool "monoblock" calipers. De ser inte alls ut å va monoblock... jag gissar på att de krympt (stål?) styrhylsor rakt över med två separata aluminiumdelar...... anyhoo, org volvo traktorbromsar, de här lär betta bra inåthelvete bättre, plus (minus) vikten då haha
