He'd have no powder traces on his hands and clothing. There's no way to be sure he would be right near the murder point at exactly the right time. (generic phone locations from tower data are only good to 3 km or so anyway). He had a valid reason for travelling and he may well have been on the phone to a person who could act as an alibi. His car did not match the silver Prius and the Prius was spotted leaving the street (but no number plate was remembered ) . When the police went to talk to him he had fuel purchase vouchers in the car that placed him well away - and they equally could have on the Friday. What would happen is they'd have to track down all his data and then realise they had to find someone or at least a vehicle who had now been on the run for 24+hrs.

One bit of testimony that made quite an impression was from the ex"boyfriend" of Wendi Adelson (ie the man she tried to frame for the murder). This man said that the first time he met Charlie Adelson (CA), CA talked & talked about going to Southeast Asia to make "use" of very very young girls there for sex and how much he enjoyed perpetrating sexual sadism. & That he talked about this continually and in front of his sister, who appeared to be fine with hearing all this. The ex "boyfriend" said that apart from just how weird and disgusting this was to talk to anyone about, and even more to talk about it to his sister, the fact that the sister is supposed to be a professional advocate against sex trafficking made it all truly disturbing. It gives one an idea of just how fully warped everything about the Adelson family is - and how they will be warping the children, turning them into little Charlies or Wendis, happy to exploit, rape, and murder. To be fair...there is a third Adelson sibling, a brother, a doctor. He says he has not spoken to any member of his family since shortly after the murder. The reason...because of how they behaved regarding the murder. He said that he thinks all the people responsible should be in jail, but also said he thinks that won't happen. in other words...he's pretty much saying he thinks they're all involved. It also is notable that he is the sole member of that family that moved away from Miami, away from them. The rest are all desperate to live in a little cluster, indeed that was Wendi's big complaint and seemingly the main reason for the murder. She HAD to live right by her parents. This was so important that it was better to get her brother to kill her children's father. They all thought this, Wendi, Charlie, the mother .... But apparently none of them felt it was important for the Doctor sibling to live in Miami, or it's even important to talk to him. One surmises that he is the child that the mother didn't like, and the only normal and ethical member of the family.
Thanks for the background info; I just started looking into this case. The family's hubris disgusts me, and I have no doubt they've already conditioned Markel's sons to disbelieve the accusations against them. This happened with Denise Williams' daughter - the woman who was convicted of having her boyfriend kill her husband. The daughter refuses to have any contact with her paternal grandmother, a woman who worked tirelessly for years to find her son's killers. It's a second tragedy to poison the children's against the man they helped murder. Charlie and his mother's involvement is so obvious that it's almost comical that they deny it. They got so accustomed to using money to solve their problems that they thought they'd be untouchable - and they yet might be. The evidence against Wendi is sketchier but I find it extremely hard to believe it was done without at least her approval. She's a lawyer so she probably knew to insulate herself better than the others. Having seen her testimony, I'm even more convinced. She exhibited a total lack of sympathy for the victim, and came off as glib in almost a taunting way towards the prosecutors and police. She said her priority was to make sure the children were safe, yet consciously avoided any news about the hitmen or her family's involvement. If she was concerned about the kids's safety, the most important thing to do was make sure the cops got the right people. The only logical reason that she didn't is that she already knew everyone involved. Really, she had zero interest in knowing the people who executed her ex-husband (and could potentially put her and their kids in danger). Total sociopath.

He thought once Wendi & kids were in Miami, he'd be back to No 1. But that didn't happen. In the phone calls w/Donna he complains about how badly behaved the grandsons are and continually tells her that she needs to harshly discipline and hit them.. He also complains that he can't do "anything for himself" because he has to still "look after" Wendi. I fully expect Wendi has resented Charlie for years. She worked very hard at school and career. He failed at everything. His parents had to threaten his medical school or else he would not have even been able to graduate. He couldn't create his own career, but had to be employed by his parents...but he was Donna's favourite. I think Wendi is probably quite tickled that he is in prison. I even believe she repeated the tv vs hitman joke so often, including right before the murder, because she wanted people to tell the police to look at Charlie. Even SHE told the police that. Unless she goes to prison, she will inherit all the Adelson money and real estate, as the eldest brother is estranged, and Chuckles is banged up.

Dan Markel had petitioned divorce court to look into the declaration and was killed just weeks before the hearing. If this was true then Dan Markel would've been entitled to half their Mr/Mrs wealth. which would've made the Adelsons cross. Ps money and assets tend to be the root of divorce murders!!

That certainly makes sense - that money would be involved in why the murder took place. That also concurs with what the normal Adelson son said. Given how much money the family had, it is interesting, and fits their pattern, that they preferred to go to court over non payment of $10,000, than just pay it. For example. Have you any idea of just how much money the Adelsons stood to "lose" if Prof Markel had been successful in his motions? I also think that this money issue provides further argument, legally speaking, as to why Harvey Adelson would have wanted the murder to happen. Had he be en shown to be evading taxes in an illegal fashion, that could have brought down on him an IRS investigation. And THAT would have been very likely to end with criminal charges.

No paper trail, videos, phone calls, nothing! she wanted to move back home but course, he wasnt going to let her take the kids. So she cried to her mom and mommy got it done....did wendi know? we dont know and shes the only one who want be arrested for this.....i believe Charlies parents (big time!!) should be in jail before the actual shooter....its insane.

He'd have no powder traces on his hands and clothing. There's no way to be sure he would be right near the murder point at exactly the right time. (generic phone locations from tower data are only good to 3 km or so anyway). He had a valid reason for travelling and he may well have been on the phone to a person who could act as an alibi. His car did not match the silver Prius and the Prius was spotted leaving the street (but no number plate was remembered ) . When the police went to talk to him he had fuel purchase vouchers in the car that placed him well away - and they equally could have on the Friday. What would happen is they'd have to track down all his data and then realise they had to find someone or at least a vehicle who had now been on the run for 24+hrs.
Charles Adelson knew that money would not be enough, so he promised that if Katherine’s husband bumped off Dan, he could get Katherine back & see his kids again, plus have money to start over. Unfortunately, he had to kill someone to do this, but very tempting, isn’t it? Who, if you out there would not kill for your kids?

I blame the spoiled little princess Wendi and her witch mother. They had Danny killed because the mother and Wendi wanted the boys to move south to be near their grandparents. One bit of testimony that made quite an impression was from the ex"boyfriend" of Wendi Adelson (ie the man she tried to frame for the murder).
This man said that the first time he met Charlie Adelson (CA), CA talked & talked about going to Southeast Asia to make "use" of very very young girls there for sex and how much he enjoyed perpetrating sexual sadism. & That he talked about this continually and in front of his sister, who appeared to be fine with hearing all this.
The ex "boyfriend" said that apart from just how weird and disgusting this was to talk to anyone about, and even more to talk about it to his sister, the fact that the sister is supposed to be a professional advocate against sex trafficking made it all truly disturbing.
It gives one an idea of just how fully warped everything about the Adelson family is - and how they will be warping the children, turning them into little Charlies or Wendis, happy to exploit, rape, and murder.
To be fair...there is a third Adelson sibling, a brother, a doctor. He says he has not spoken to any member of his family since shortly after the murder. The reason...because of how they behaved regarding the murder. He said that he thinks all the people responsible should be in jail, but also said he thinks that won't happen.
in other words...he's pretty much saying he thinks they're all involved. It also is notable that he is the sole member of that family that moved away from Miami, away from them. The rest are all desperate to live in a little cluster, indeed that was Wendi's big complaint and seemingly the main reason for the murder. She HAD to live right by her parents. This was so important that it was better to get her brother to kill her children's father. They all thought this, Wendi, Charlie, the mother ....
But apparently none of them felt it was important for the Doctor sibling to live in Miami, or it's even important to talk to him. One surmises that he is the child that the mother didn't like, and the only normal and ethical member of the family.
Thanks for the background info; I just started looking into this case. The family's hubris disgusts me, and I have no doubt they've already conditioned Markel's sons to disbelieve the accusations against them. This happened with Denise Williams' daughter - the woman who was convicted of having her boyfriend kill her husband. The daughter refuses to have any contact with her paternal grandmother, a woman who worked tirelessly for years to find her son's killers. It's a second tragedy to poison the children's against the man they helped murder.
Charlie and his mother's involvement is so obvious that it's almost comical that they deny it. They got so accustomed to using money to solve their problems that they thought they'd be untouchable - and they yet might be. The evidence against Wendi is sketchier but I find it extremely hard to believe it was done without at least her approval. She's a lawyer so she probably knew to insulate herself better than the others. Having seen her testimony, I'm even more convinced. She exhibited a total lack of sympathy for the victim, and came off as glib in almost a taunting way towards the prosecutors and police. She said her priority was to make sure the children were safe, yet consciously avoided any news about the hitmen or her family's involvement. If she was concerned about the kids's safety, the most important thing to do was make sure the cops got the right people. The only logical reason that she didn't is that she already knew everyone involved. Really, she had zero interest in knowing the people who executed her ex-husband (and could potentially put her and their kids in danger). Total sociopath.

I agree that the children will already be turned into believing their father was an ogre. It is so horrible. I am so pleased that the Markels have a daughter too. The Markels are amazing people. The things that Dan Markel's mother achieved in her life are astounding. Then there's Donna Adelson who achieved having tons of plastic surgery and raising 2 monsters, and getting her favourite son sent to prison for life.
That's the part I especially like. Donna doesn't love Charlie. If you love your child you'd do anything to stop them from putting themselves in danger.
Donna just makes use of Charlie, the way he makes use of her. The psychology term, I'm told, is "getting narcissistic supply". The person is only valuable to you in the sense of what they do for you, and when that stops for whatever reason, they're dumped immediately.
Or murdered...as in the Chris Watts case. His family had served a use of providing the background to his "i'm a really nice guy, a loving father, family man guy". But in 5 weeks he'd changed his story of himself, & source of narcissistic supply, so that had zero use and he could murder them without a thought.
Though apparently that's wrong too..he would have enjoyed it, as narcissists always feel contempt for those they are using (to greater or lesser degrees), and murdering them would have also made him feel powerful.
Donna was now focused on using her grandsons, Charlie was becoming less important. Charlie was annoyed about how much attention Wendi was getting due to the divorce & so on. He thought once Wendi & kids were in Miami, he'd be back to No 1.
But that didn't happen. In the phone calls w/Donna he complains about how badly behaved the grandsons are and continually tells her that she needs to harshly discipline and hit them.. He also complains that he can't do "anything for himself" because he has to still "look after" Wendi.
I fully expect Wendi has resented Charlie for years. She worked very hard at school and career. He failed at everything. His parents had to threaten his medical school or else he would not have even been able to graduate. He couldn't create his own career, but had to be employed by his parents...but he was Donna's favourite.
I think Wendi is probably quite tickled that he is in prison. I even believe she repeated the tv vs hitman joke so often, including right before the murder, because she wanted people to tell the police to look at Charlie. Even SHE told the police that.
Unless she goes to prison, she will inherit all the Adelson money and real estate, as the eldest brother is estranged, and Chuckles is banged up.
@@greenman6141 Good insight but other than custody reasons I think Dan Markel was also killed because of the Adelson family wealth probably vested in Wendi for tax purposes and may be hidden from divorce court declaration. Dan Markel had petitioned divorce court to look into the declaration and was killed just weeks before the hearing.
If this was true then Dan Markel would've been entitled to half their Mr/Mrs wealth. which would've made the Adelsons cross.

That also concurs with what the normal Adelson son said. He stated that scamming even small amounts of money from people was a high priority with his family.
Given how much money the family had, it is interesting, and fits their pattern, that they preferred to go to court over non payment of $10,000, than just pay it. For example.
Have you any idea of just how much money the Adelsons stood to "lose" if Prof Markel had been successful in his motions?
I also think that this money issue provides further argument, legally speaking, as to why Harvey Adelson would have wanted the murder to happen. Had he be en shown to be evading taxes in an illegal fashion, that could have brought down on him an IRS investigation. And THAT would have been very likely to end with criminal charges.
