After hearing Henriksson on Ozora this year (in the Dome and Artibarn) I have listened to this album 5 times this week, i cant believe how godamn amazing this is! I love all the other Son Kite and Minilogue stuff but this is just a whole new dimension and level. You can really see just how much educated these guys are in ALL electronic music genres, it has so many elements of different types of electronica, i wish there was more "psytrance" (i know its ridiculous to put this album into a genre) that was this intelligent and articulate! Also i dont know why but this album leaves a similar aftertaste in my ears after listening to it like "plastikman - ex" and "jean michele jarre - oxygen". i could go on and on on just how fucking much im enjoying this the whole day.......
they are back ! But...not that much Trance that we know them for. Much more of the sideproject (minilogue) sound. Bummed about that I must say. But non the less...great album
I don't know, to me this really does capture Son Kite for the modern era ... no it's not a traditional "trance" album, but for me it's one of the most psychedelic in years. So it's a matter of perspective, I guess.

It's because he studies theory as well as electronica. Music theory matters when you're composing music. ;)
The best minimal/psytrance album i've ever heard. Son Kite evolved in a fantastic direction there
