Massive CSX M427 (600 axles) with variety of power heading westbound, crossing Temple Ave, Ocean Park, Old Orchard Beach, ME on 8/7/23.
CSX M427: Waterville, ME - Selkirk, NY

CSX 483 - GE AC44CW
CSX 8040 - EMD SD40-2
CSX 478 - GE AC44CW
MEC 518 - EMD GP40-2LW
MEC 516 - EMD GP40-2LW
The traffic and the crickets are louder than the train On Approach. Then the AC 44 horn sounds almost like a crazy laugh

@@KevlarVTXthe plant made chlorine and several other chemicals for paper making. In the soil mercury interacts with a bacteria to form methylmercury. A powerful neurotoxin. And the most toxic form of mercury. The loads are taken to a hazardous waste facility in western New York. Sulfur is added to the dirt to help separate the methylmercury. Then another bacteria is added which neutralizes the soil
