  • What’s the best way to apply DryLock?
How many coats of DryLock should I do?
How long does DryLock paint last?
    Is DryLock waterproof?
Using “The Crawford Technique” you will save a lot of time, save a lot of money, and also do a perfect DryLock job every time with no prior experience.
Let me know if you have any questions.

I've been painting for decades and learned this trick myself. It really does work and beats using a brush

Wish I saw this video earlier! It really helped fill in a lot of my holes! Thank you!

Interesting. It makes me think a paintbrush would be better in this case, as you're essentially sliding over the surface rather than rolling. The whole point of a roller is to do a quicker job (it's certainly not to save on paint - I can tell you!)

Brushing block is a nightmare. Use a whiz if the 9 is too heavy to work with for you

The light in the window makes me think those walls are above ground- if that's the case not sure why waterproofing would be required.

Great observation. It is below ground on two sides! Thanks for watching!

    Get a paintbrush Ash.
More seriously. I have a rain exposed wall (ground + top floor). There’s already an old coat of paint on it. Do i scrape that off with a “i don’t know what tool” and then apply the DryLock white paint?

    • @ashrcrawford
      @ashrcrawford  Год назад

I have no idea, this was literally the first and last time I ever did this.

@@ashrcrawford Ok thanks. My common sense is telling me to scrape off as much of the old paint as possible and to jet wash it. Then paint after wall is dry.

Is drylok still effective even if there’s paint on concrete

If it’s old paint best to get it off with wire brush or solvent. If it’s stuck on real good you can just drylok over it

"Best " way to apply it would be spraying it
