One of the first platformers I stubled upon was this castle themed level. It looked cool and all it had a techno vibe in the beginning. But it appears when the clock hits midnight all hell breaks loose and it becomes a horror level. Funny thing is I did kinda have an indication of it. The clock, the monster without a heart that was just standing still when the lights were on the missing painting. Even in the beginning in the basement, crucifixes and a misterious, hidious and small creature in a secret room that just... dissapears seconds after you find it. I wonder what would have happened if your mom had played that level man it was scary as hell.
if you ever make another tutorial , I reccomend making a better tutorial for tight movement, that intuition is very hard to build for platformers. that feeling of "space" builds over time, and jumping onto single block platforms is a bit of a leap for that.
