I appreciate you going at just the right pace while explaining everything in detail. There is so much to learn, I wonder if you have done a beginner video? And what other videos you have done? I love seeing God's creation, and how magnificent and beautiful it is. All the fruits and squashes, and various leaves. You must be one of the healthiest people on the planet! Loved hearing about the various teas you make(to drink?) and natural ways to fertilize and keep away bugs naturally. I will pass this on to many as I am so inspired and most enlightened about everything I get from the grocery store. Wish I could eat organic, thanks so much fantastic, brother! high 5!

? Awe yes the yellow flower. I collected some seed from a purple loosestrife variety from a near by wet land and started them last year but didn’t plant them out after learning that it is fairly invasive. I think this yellow variety I’ve got going is less of a spreader.

I see you spraying off the potatoes. You could have filled a bucket and washed them in there then when all are washed, give them a quick spray to rinse, use the water in bucket to water veggies/fruits. Save that water! Just saying... You do such a great job with your garden 😊
Thanks for commenting. Here’s a little perspective: I often submerge wash-think I was actually doing that there in the wheelbarrow-if it’s the clip I’m thinking of. And just finishing by spraying off or vice versa. When you have a fairly abundant water source it’s really not necessary to get finicky about saving water. Also In late autumn the garden doesn’t need anymore water. If it’s mid summer then yes I’ll often dump any containers of water usually on trees…

Love your videos :) I have my own garden (it's a way small than yours) and I struggle to handle all the food that it produces. You can only give so much to friends and families. Wonder what do you do with all your excess? Sell?
Thank you 😊 It’s not that much really if you consider storage for 6-7 months a year; what I grow for. 6 months of time I cannot grow food here. Also some goes to family and friends. And during the growing season juicing is a magnificent way to use loads of cucumber, celery, carrot, fennel , beet and so on ! Gratitude
You mentioned that you were using the net over the compost tea to keep flies out; do you get hoverflies in your area? This last season I made my first tea and I got these rattail maggots in mine, which I identified as hoverflies! And so I placed some lathing in the tea as a ramp just in case they needed help climbing out to pupate. Also I had treated my brew with mosquito bits (bt), and was relieved to see that it did not appear to affect the hoverflies. I suppose covering with net negates the need for the bt though huh😅
Yes I’ve got hover flies here- yeah they are important to have in the garden for sure. That’s kind of you to put a means for them getting out of the water. Come to think of it I have seen them crawling. I didn’t know the tailed maggots were hover fly-I was just looking into it more…thanks for that !! That’s what I’ve seen in my anaerobic tea batches as well. I just thought flys and how they transfer pathogens… Couple times I think I’ve dumped it-(just flooding the area and it seeped into some beads still so still was used in a sense) But yeah the fine screen/bug netting will keep out mosquito larva as well. But sometimes there are still bug eggs in the green matter so…😄 No issues with aerated compost tea as the water disturbance…
Seedling-you started it from seed ? If u started it from seed it’s going to take a while… If you have a small grape Cane use some Liquid organic fertilizer, something like fish emulsion. Or brew some compost tea and or Put worm castings around the vine.

Yeah I love the sea :) I’m far from it though. I can buy dry agricultural seaweed at the store but it’s the most expensive fertilizer/minerals out there. You have a great resource if you have access to seaweed like yourself !
