Here's how it would be fair. No cobra car until one of your opponents goes to Castle age. You can advance through the ages as normal. So your opponents would have to strategize whether they fight with feudal army vs your post imp army or go to castle and imp themselves but have to deal with 1 cobra from you.

Two of the players here got on to the idea of monastery as a counter in this game, but they were too late. But you can bet next game, they all know what to do and go early Monasteries to counter the first cobra car.
Politics. Religion. Culture. There is so much that seemingly divides us. But seeing Hera dominate with Cobra cars and cackle with unbridled glee, the same way us plebian players dominate 7 computers, makes me realize that we are all so much more alike.
Fun Fact: The cobra car counts as siege so it is affected by Drill (mongols) or Torsion Engines (Ethiopians) and Siege Engineers for if you only have access to one and wanna make the most of it :D

Primarily because of the slow collection rate and because wood and stone will just get you more food than berries does and you do want both their upgrades asap. If you try not touch the berries you can notice that saracens can have much faster time up by eating through all their sheep and hunt then relocate into rss with upgrades, by the time you hit fuedal your done with sheep and hunt uou would already have the upgrades to allow you to buy food for wood ar a MUCH faster rate than gathering berries. just for fun i tried fast castle into castle drop witu seracens before and they seemed like one of the few civz if not the only civ that can do it at like 18+loom +2 or 19+loom+1 and still have rss to do something rese

I think the rules are very fair if you just play against stronger opponents, maybe something around 1500. If they pressure you from early on and prevent your 1st castle it is an easy win for them. The outcome of the game depends on whether you get 1 castle up

They just needed Persians to douche you, byzantines (with ethiopian ally) to spam outposts all over, and two players to rally all their vills forward starting from vill 10 and build palisades around all the stone and gold. Men-at-arms, 2 range archers and cuman siege to close out the game ASAP from the other 3 players. Not sure if that would count as laming, though :P
Mongol scout bonus is enough, don't need outpost. And u know your teammates' position, so basically get there with a douche fast and kill him fast. Can even see Cuman ram push 11

Nice fun game. Maybe have a time delay b4 you can build the castle and limit u to only 1 car, but the cobra is too op tbh. Also, at the upcoming RedBull there should be one set where you each get 1x cobra car each. Id like to see Viper try and quick wall it in.
hahahaha this is actually one of the most entertaining vids. how about this for the future - 1vs3 - everyone gets unlimited cobra cars (you show them the ctrl+c / v thing and its an all out battle til death. unlimited allowed, no extra pop and pure cobra car micro, play against 2 guys ranked about 900
i think literally none of them understood the concept of cobra cars, or else they'd be doing a joint scout rush on dark age, and then going full agro on feudal the best counter to cobras is the same as the counter to Goths: don't let them get to castle age, once they get going there's no stopping
On the note of fast up-times... Would be interesting to go 1v7 against 1200+ elo players. Victory condition: reaching IMP - upon imp, Hera wins immediately. and they gotta stop Hera before-then :D
I think it was fair, it is their fault to some extent, they should have all seven rushed you in feudal. It should be that once your castle is up your whole base is basically done except you have one cobra car. 800 ELO too low but 1000 ELO could defeat you with the same rules
was there an agreement of no dark age aggression? (minus the laming) because they should have just surrounded your base with their 7 combined scouts/eagles and you wouldn't have been able to leave the TC
Had all the players.coopeeate they would have more of a chance. Maybe fast feudal part of them go full Eco.and donate to 1-3 players closest to you all resources to go fastest possible castle with rush
Did Cobra cars get buffed in DE? I don't remember the Cobta cars in Conquerors doing that much damage to buildings or large groups of enemies by themselves.

Castles aren't to bad at dealing with cobra cars especially in small numbers they don't seem to do as much damage to castles as they do to all other buildings.
