- Introduced in 2017, the Honda CRF450RX is a cross-country specific machine aimed at off-road racing. For 2021, the whole bike has been changed since it has received all the updates that the motocross bike (CRF450R) got this year. That’s a new frame, new engine, new bodywork and a lot more. Along with all that, the CRF450RX has some off-road specific goodies that are unique to this competition-focused dirt bike. So are you going to do a 450 off-road shootout for 2021
How would you consider this bike doing against the KTM,husky enduro range ? I mean powerwise i am sure it will be competative , how will it fair over the obstacles and tight to navigate sections ? Also up grades what does it need to go racing you said flame out was a problem ,so a weight on the fly wheel, ? pipes with spark arrestors, ? Re-valve on the suspension.. ? I am looking fo a new bike i have been with Honda for a looong time but i am doing mainly enduro c.c.c some extreme so could this bike be an option ?
Can you change the maps on the fly???
Flameout problems are a deal breaker.
Dont lock up the back brake... yamaha wr 450 do same. 🔥🔥🔥
Going to put a Hinson momentum clutch basket in it and set the idle up a hair should help the flame out big time

How much of a power difference is there between this bike and the crf450X ? I know the X is a little milder but is there a big power difference or just a little?
And how’s the weight diff and diff gearbox feel??
450X is about 280lbs. 450rx is around 250lbs. 450x has 43hp. 450rx has 55hp.
X is 6sp tyranny and better maintenance intervals

Why do moto magazines always test off-road bikes primarily on mx tracks???? Take that thing on real trails, your elevation gain was probably 20 feet.
Most of these guys are so cal based. This is what most of our trail areas look like
