  • Pastor Kevin The Orlando Gardener has been growing fruit trees in Pots in Orlando Florida. I've been following his youtube channel ‪@orlandogardener‬ for years and love it.
    If you are in Central Florida and growing fruit trees Kevin The Orlando Gardner is the man you want to know. He also sells fruit trees. I love that he shares the fruit with his friends and neighbors.

    Loved this tour! Pastor Kevin is great! All the references to the word "garden" in the Bible was a kind of revelation to me. Makes me realize I should be praying and have a spirit of thankfulness in the garden. I have a Pickering about 10 or 12 years old and Nam Doc Mai maybe 8 years old. Both are about 12 feet. The harvest is insane every year! The Pickering is my favorite, I thought it was the absolute best Mango; now I realize I want to try maybe an Ice Cream or Pina Colada or Peach Cobbler. The enthusiasm you both have is infectious!! Thank you so much!!

    Thank you Pastor Kevin for addressing the topic of root rot. I'm in Northern California, so a completely different climate than Florida and even Southern California, but I wasn't watering my mango trees properly because I was afraid of the supposed root rot people were talking about when it comes to mangoes.
    My mango tree is in the ground but it wasn't thriving and then a few weeks ago I left my water hose on top of the soil near it and that hose has a small leak/drip.
    The next morning it sprouted new leaves so I think I wasn't giving it the water it needed because everyone kept saying it doesn't do well in clay soil and it would struggle and the roots would eventually die.
    So far it keeps pushing new growth so I'm going to doing what seems to be working so far.
    The mango I had in a container died and I belive that was because I didn't give it enough water. I was afraid of root rot so I tried not to overdo it and I wound up not doing enough.
    I can't find mangoes where I live for less than $350 per container so I can only buy them when I travel to see family.
    Thanks for your insight in this video...and that purple and gold are our church colors as well.
    Acts 2:38

    • @TuansReef
      @TuansReef Год назад

      Root rot is primarily caused by blending in compost into the pot rather than just putting it on top. If you use sand, pumice and peat your plants wont rot. Decomposing compost next to the roots creates anaerobic environment killing the roots.

    This was BEAUTIFUL!!!! I LOVE IT!!! You guys have such an amazing humbling relationship, enjoying yourselves in YAHUAH and taking special care of his creation he provided for us. I LOVE the way you edify one another. I LOVE mangos and had no idea there were so many different ones. LOL My eyes were popped out of my head the entire time wishing I could taste them ALL!!! LOL I will truly be doing my homework. SUBSCRIBED

    Paul I have to agree with Kevin’s comments about Karen Michelle. Give it another chance. It’s a amazing mango. It’s one of my favorite.
