      These Air WiFi units do not give you any manual control to configure your network or traffic, no pass through, no port forwarding, no static IP, none of that. It’s not even a true gateway.

      They only do it for the rich neighborhoods bro smh I contacted support and they said my area would be getting fiber sometime this year, I HIGHLY doubt that though

      They do if you live in Texas. Most people you will most likely have it or get it soon in your neighborhoods. They have been installing fiber in Texas and slowly moving towards other states

    Didn’t work for us. In store we were told we had a 14 day trial period. Tried returning in store on 10th day. Was told we would have to call customer service to cancel and ship it. Was told on the phone it’s only a 7 day trial period. Took three days to get to our house. Took two days of setting it up. We had issues with it kicking us out of our account. Spent four hours each day trying to correct it. Finally got it working and the strength isn’t near as advertised. Was told to expect 400 mbps and we barely got 25 mbps. Terrible experience with ATT.

      It has been terrible. Same thing has been happening with me. I tried calling in because it wasn't working and instead of processing a return they said to reset.

      just got one and it works great, upload speeds are 150 to 170.

      How far away are you from a (cell tower). Try installing an (antenna) that amplifies (5G radio waves). It should strengthen your (internet speeds)😊

      Same here. In store we were told it's a 14 day trial period. After a week, I got an email saying my bill is ready. I called and asked why I'm being billed when I'm still in the trial period and they told me on the phone that the trial is only 7 days. Also, the rep in the store who created my account put a service address in New York for some reason when I live in California. When I tried to change that, there is no way to change the address without canceling the account, shipping the hub back, and waiting to receive a new one.

    See those jumping dots and then AT&T light up around 0:14? You get to see that 1-2 times every day because you have to reset the router when you lose internet. Speed will drop to 0 and then after reset, you get to rename your network so your family and devices can login.
    Customer support will walk you through the reset if you call in about connection problems.

      I have to return the AT&T Internet Air. It does not work with VPNs

      This is BY FAR the worst internet I have EVER HAD. And they conned me into it. I had AT&T Uverse, which was crappy but actually usable. they call me and say "We have this new internet air you can try for 7 days" I said sure since they said 75 was the MINIMUM up to 250. I tried it for 6 days and it was GOD AWFUL so i cancel it and go back to Uverse.... then THEY JUST CUT OFF MY UVERSE and say "Oh sorry Uverse isn't available in your area".... EXCUSE ME... So I was forced to go back to internet air... its cheaper for them obviously... MUCH MUCH WORSE for the consumer though. It isn't reliable AT ALL the latency is so bad its not useable in a gaming environment. the ping sits at 150, and every 5-10 seconds it skyrockets up to 500ms-5000ms for a few seconds.... The very moment ANYTHING else is available I am getting rid of this absolute TRASH internet. oh and the 75 minimum? yeah... no I get 10-15 megabits download.... I had 25 consistently with Uverse but even that had ping spikes though it was every few mins with 35ms being the base.
      DO NOT GET INTERNET AIR, IF YOU HAVE THE OPTION JUST DROP AT&T ALTOGETHER!!!

      @CandiestoftheLands you should be.. it is absolutely trash, AT&T fuked me.. they randomly canceled my at&t uverse and forced this one... found out that the in field techs went on strike earlier this year.. so AT&T is forcing this out so they can fire all their techs since they aren't needed for this.
      This is LITERALLY just a mobile Hotspot. Its EXACTLY the same as if you turned it on, on your phone.....

    Mine works ok, it does drop signal for a few minutes but that's bc it's doing a software update, usually happens in the middle of the night like around 2 a.m.

    I have 4 distant locations on my property that need camera coverage. These are over 1000 ft apart. I have power at those locations but no power available (for extenders etc.) between them. Would multiple cgw450 units work. (1 at each location). Can they work as a single network if multiple cgw450 units are used? Any help is appreciated!!

    Now I know why my internet bill increased…… they offer cheaper rates on new services to force people to change as they grow! I’ll keep my current internet and just pay more. Reading the reviews it sounds like it’s not worth it.

      They just forced me to switch to Air. Not even kidding i wasnt able to connect to my wifi, and it said it was because of a voluntary pause. So i called and they said i have to switch to air or i wont have internet anymore. Real sneaky stuff they're pulling. I told them ill switch but i plan on switching to fiber anyway so i wasnt going to bother with air at all originally. Guess i got no choice now...

    I ordered it and had to send it back. It doesn’t not support VPNs, which is terrible if you WFH

      Guys call customer service, im an internet air rep, the agent will chat supervisor and the supervisor will chnage it to desired time zone.

    Dont get this its beyond terrible. I had the 25 mbs service with the ancient router connected to the wall and got better and more reliable internet than when they gave me the internet air. Switching to COX!

    1. Set up instructions don't match the app instructions
    2. Store employees know very little about this so if you have a problem, you have to call customer service
    3. The hub isn't well understood by customer service, so no one knows how to correct issues and they will tell you to send back your device and wait for them to send a new one
    4. If you move, you can't take it with you. You have to return it, close your account and start over from scratch at the new address.
    5. Hub randomly restarts itself in the middle of the day so you lose internet at random times.

    Mines not even connecting to my account. Says to link account and when I do it says it fails. So far so bad and it’s only day 1

    If anyone has any other internet options, go with that instead. You can thank me later. If this at&t junk air is your absolute only option, then I guess flip a coin. No internet vs maybe internet.

    I wanted fiber but it wasn’t available in my area so they told me the air internet was my only other option which I was ok with at the time but this seems like it’s to easy to be true to set up and as for reliability these comments make me a little nervous

    I am on disability and at&t was stealing money from my bank account. I fought and waiting to be refunded the stolen Money that at&t admitted to stealing.

    shit is ass it is the worst internet with highs of 4000 ping will being right next to it, my family got forced into this even though we live in the middle of the biggest city of my state i cant play games download upload and its just sad that they would force bad internet on us

    I’m just staying with my ATT DSL internet and paying an extra 30 dollars for unlimited data. It works fantastic with my WiFi extender. ATT internet Air is garbage
