Beautiful pattern and excellent demonstration! I spotted only 2 mistakes. At 12:03, "Ch 10, EDC 6, ch 10, EDC 4" should read "Ch 10, EDC 6, ch 10, EDC 2". And at 30:11, the chained loop wasn't included with the stitch leaving 5 EDCs between the loops instead of 4. You can see this at 30:30. The last row should end with an EDC in each of the last 2 EDCs, after the EDC where the loop was joined. Thank you for this lovely tutorial.
WOW!!! I've been crocheting for 58 years, and I've NEVER seen this stitch either!! I'm also Polish!!! So the name & star pattern really caught my attention!!! TFS! Austin TX USA
I found this pattern in a book, but it never worked out. I now know those directions were incorrect. After watching your tutorial and charting the directions, I see how easy it is. Thank you very much!
As it was said - wonderfully simple and clear showing this incredible stitch, thank you! I’d like to clarify the moment of doing white row the second time (I mean the white row after the blue one) - on video you crochet 2EDC after section with 6EDC but in headline is written “6EDC, chain 10, 4EDC”. I believe it’s only misspelling as I believe the pattern goes: 4EDC/10ch/4EDC/10ch… 6EDC/10ch/2EDC/10ch… 4EDC/10ch/4EDC/10ch… 2EDC/10ch/6EDC/10ch…
I love your tutorial as it’s very clear to see but Row 1 does not match what’s written. It’s written “*CH10, EDC 4 in next 4 chains*”. If I do that I will have 16 EDCs in the next 4 chains. Also, row 4 you wrote to *ch10, EDC 6, ch10, EDC 4* but you only do 2 instead of 4. 😮 I also see that I must watch how you end the rows because, it’s not clear how to end or how many stitches are at the end of the row. I appreciate the time you spent to do this. I hope I can match your beautiful work.
I'm sorry but are we watching the same video? 😁 Everything matches perfectly. Can you be more specific? Give me a time stamp where you think it's not matching

Just lovely. Ive been crocheting about 50 years and have never seen such a unique stitch.

I'm so glad it helped! It is a very easy pattern, despite looking so complex 😊 Thank you!
@@YanasCrochet I hope so, thank you!

That cute

How can I calculate how much shrinkage from the base until the design is formed if I want to make a sweater?
You can just make a little swatch first to see the changes in size
@@YanasCrochet Thank you. Your work is beatiful.
Thanks beautiful 3D
Is the length of the foundation chain equal to the width of the project?
Yes, it could be
At 4:14 am I seeing correctly that the last set of extended double crochet before that last chain 10 is to have only three instead of four?
It's supposed to be 4. Do as I say, not as I do 😁
can you do this with 2 colors ?
Yes, you can definitely use only 2 colors. I think the hook was 4.5
@@YanasCrochet thank you so much !!
There are a lot of "patterns" that aren't actual patterns, rather pictures or videos of the Polish Star done in 2 colors.
also what hook size did you use
I used crochet hook size K / 6.5mm and it came out perfect
Is there a written pattern?!
She has directions written in the tutorial. You could just go through and write them down yourself. It’s what I plan to do.
Unfortunately I don't have a separate pattern
is there a pattern for the last row
Just whatever is shown in the video

One of the worst tutorials I've ever seen! Absolutely not helpful when the words at the top do not match what is actually happening.
I'm sorry but are we watching the same video? 😁 Everything matches perfectly. Can you be more specific? Give me a time stamp where you think it's not matching
You are very talented!!! ❤️❤️❤️
THIS IS THE MOST IMPRESSIVE CROCHET TUTORIAL THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!
Wow, thank you!
This looks AMAZING!!! I am going to give it a try but I don't know how well it's gonna work out.
Thank you! You have to try it, I'm sure it will come out great! 😊
