Beautiful pattern and excellent demonstration! I spotted only 2 mistakes. At 12:03, "Ch 10, EDC 6, ch 10, EDC 4" should read "Ch 10, EDC 6, ch 10, EDC 2". And at 30:11, the chained loop wasn't included with the stitch leaving 5 EDCs between the loops instead of 4. You can see this at 30:30. The last row should end with an EDC in each of the last 2 EDCs, after the EDC where the loop was joined. Thank you for this lovely tutorial.

As it was said - wonderfully simple and clear showing this incredible stitch, thank you! I’d like to clarify the moment of doing white row the second time (I mean the white row after the blue one) - on video you crochet 2EDC after section with 6EDC but in headline is written “6EDC, chain 10, 4EDC”. I believe it’s only misspelling as I believe the pattern goes:
    4EDC/10ch/4EDC/10ch…
    6EDC/10ch/2EDC/10ch…
    4EDC/10ch/4EDC/10ch…
    2EDC/10ch/6EDC/10ch…

How can I calculate how much shrinkage from the base until the design is formed if I want to make a sweater?

You can just make a little swatch first to see the changes in size

  • @jenncruz855

I love your tutorial as it’s very clear to see but Row 1 does not match what’s written. It’s written “*CH10, EDC 4 in next 4 chains*”. If I do that I will have 16 EDCs in the next 4 chains. Also, row 4 you wrote to *ch10, EDC 6, ch10, EDC 4* but you only do 2 instead of 4. 😮 I also see that I must watch how you end the rows because, it’s not clear how to end or how many stitches are at the end of the row. I appreciate the time you spent to do this. I hope I can match your beautiful work.
