- Sometimes things sit on my to-do list for so long as I gather things and ideas. It is finally time to organize the boy's bedrooms! I am so excited to check this off and get ready for the holidays.

I think it would be nice if you did the same to the big boys room. Moving the two end tables together in the middle of the beds 😁
We discussed it, they like it how it is but who knows, we may try it. It gives Bennett a place for his laundry.

That is so precious that Weston requested that photo, his reaction may have been brief but we all know he will go to bed staring at the photo with a big grin on his face. You AND Luna did a fantastic job on the rooms today!

Just an observation that there would be more space in the boys room if Hunter's bed was also pushed up against the wall and the dressers were pushed together in the middle beside the window. Hunter could also lean against the wall while sitting, his headboard would not cover part of the window and it would also be easier to organize/clean the room 😊

The Rooms look so good. I love that the Boys are paired up in rooms. They will learn to work together and get closer. I shared a room with 4 Sisters, bunk beds. We had a blast. It made it easier when we went to College and had a roommate.
Mark, I love the Boat. I have been watching a couple renovate old RV's. In Central Illinois people collect old, vintage pickups. That boat looks like a classic. When Lauren gets her first Ride or she starts practicing driving the boat she will fall in love.

The kids can clean but, as Amanda on This Crazy Life says, "It needs a mother's touch".
I love their rooms. They are so welcoming. The family picture is absolutely amazing and I love the posters.
I would put the other bed against the wall so it matches the other side. They'll have more room in the middle. The small space between the bed and the wall is wasted because it isn't enough room to really use.
Also, another rod in the closets would give plenty of room for sweatshirts, pants and dress shirts.
Mines 19yrs old and l STILL need to do a "Mother's Touch"

Hey Lauren. Great job on the boys' rooms. They're blessed to have you.
That salmon looked delicious. Two of my favorite ways to cook salmon are:
1. Lightly coat filets w. olive oil, then season w. salt, pepper and Slap Ya Mama Cajun Seasoning. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and cook as usual. I use either Colavita Original Balsamic Glaze or Monari Federzoni Balsamic Glaze. You get the spice from the Cajun Seasoning and the sweet and tangy from the glaze.
2. Lightly coat filets w. olive oil, then season w. salt and pepper. Brush generously w. sweet chili sauce. Cook as usual - halfway through cooking brush on more sweet chili sauce. I use Mae Ploy Sweet Chili Sauce. Sweet and tangy.

Rooms turned out great. Today is my one day off and you have inspired me to declutter my bedroom a bit. But, every time you said Alexa, which was a lot, it caused mine to go off.
When you said it’s lunchtime l thought wow you got all that done before lunch? Did you start at sunrise. Love how Luna seeks out your company, not many cats do that. Congratulations both rooms look great. Men and their toys😅😅

I remember those days, it was hard work but it was very satisfying! I had 2 boys in a room with all of that, plus toys! My daughter had her own room so it wasn't so hard!

Love the room changes and the motivation to get into my 10 yr old boy's (just one) room to help with the deep organization. I agree. While he is responsible for cleaning up and taking his laundry basket out, kids do need help and guidance with the big organization jobs. That way they can be successful with keeping up with their space and things. I agree with another commenter that I would have pushed Hunter's bed to the wall (to mirror the little kids room) but LOVE that you're leaving it up to him to decide.
The rooms looked great. Dinner looked yummy and the boat looked nice...our guys and their toys.
