I have guys at work saying it doesnt matter where you put the soleniod wires, as long as one on each side. Is this true? If removing and replacing I put them back how they were but sometimes working behind someone and finishing their work can be a pain.

What year volvo? I think i am having starter problems. Today to start my truck I had to bang it with a hummer. Is that a D13?so I can order the same starter. Thank you great video and explanation 👍🏼 🎉
@@valeriumoscalu7580 OK thx I will try that. Last year I thought I had a bad starter and attempted to remove my starter but it was stuck, at that time a used a regular hammer but it didn't work. So I put the nuts back on and decided to do the work in my home town. At that moment I realized my starter was still good and I had a contact connection issue. Fast forward to now I think my starter is about to go. Let me ask you this question, if I turn the key and hear a screeching sound what do you think it is. I have to hold the key for about 3 seconds for the truck to start. This happened last year also. I notice I have an oil pan leak and it leaks on the starter solenoid. I usually wipe it down.

I’m having the same problem, but my truck sometimes starts and sometimes nothing , Let me know if you find the problem., I’m wondering if there is a relay fuse for the starter somewhere?

Hey. My starter is stuck to the housing. Do I need to bang on it with a sledge hammer or heat up the starter corners.
Slightly bang it with a Hummer and vibration should loosen it and will come out!

How can you tell when is the started is just stuck ?
nuts are stuck, I use fire gun to heat it. Still not able to loose.
Heat it up better and it will come out!
