Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a first-person shooter game co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software and published by Activision. It will be the twenty-first installment of the Call of Duty series and the seventh entry in the Black Ops sub-series, following Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (2020). The game is scheduled for release on October 25, 2024, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, and is set to be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers on release day.
Set during the early 1990s, Black Ops 6's single-player campaign-described as a "dynamic and intense spy thriller"-will act as a continuation of Black Ops Cold War's story. Its multiplayer component will contain sixteen brand-new maps at launch and restore several features from previous Call of Duty titles, such as the "Prestige" leveling system. Additionally, the game will feature a new iteration of the cooperative round-based Zombies mode, with two all-new maps being set for inclusion at launch, and include omnidirectional movement mechanics, allowing players to sprint, dive, and slide in any direction.
Black Ops 6 boasts the longest development cycle in Call of Duty history, spanning four years; some Treyarch employees stated that they have been play-testing the title since 2022. Marketing for the game began in May 2024, through the publishing of fictional advertisements on the front pages of multiple newspaper outlets and the release of several live-action teaser trailers; a full reveal debuted following the airing of the 2024 Xbox Games Showcase event on June 9.

Well that fucking sucks.
Being trapped inside your own body for sometime, possibly not knowing what is happening and all of a sudden you can feel all those wounds, the barbed wire and the electricity going through your body just to see and experience a nuke going off in the middle of a battle.

No idea, but what I prefer keeping Warden alive, like a walking defibrillator.
Which might fit as alcatraz was set during a storm, there's the afterlife system where you electrocute yourself to progress the main easter egg and that the game ends not by escaping the prison but by sitting in the *ELECTRIC CHAIR ON THE GOLDEN GATE BRIGE AFTER CRASHING INTO IT* or do a 1v3 pvp on that same bridge.
I love when the Dreadnoght goes down and bomb bounces and detonates and guy looks there like he’s saying “you’ve got to be fucking kidding me”

The chopper gunner has another destruction animation when the gunner is on the right hand side, the pilot dies first and the copilot tries to reach for the gunner before also getting shot

MW19's was also pretty good with the fear that swept over nearly all the characters as they dread having to authorize a nuke.

@TryTheFries no its not we don't get respawn unlike cold war you respawn after the nuke and get back to fighting like it's a normal Monday it's a one and done thing
As it should be. Nukes are terrible.
But it is still hard to receive a nuke call, since only pros and "game's veterans" can do that.
I wish they made brutus sound terfying when the nuke is called rather than screaming in pain maybe make him laugh or something make him sound the like the menece he is

@@marwankthd1629I think it got used based on ease of deployment over the already existing AC-130 that probably still had some kinks to work out anyway which is why you never see it because it only became preferable when it was *too* much easier to deploy

The deploy/destruction cutscenes are, as always, very "classic Call of Duty", really nailing that "first person action movie" feel. With the equally classic "your character dies in first person" too. :P

Air patrol in Cold War: can take down every single streak in one shot and shoot down multiple streaks at once, including other air parrols

Iirc they got nerfed hard because people complained that "the air patrol is too OP"
I think interceptor needs to be buff, but love the killstreak death animation
It does a second pass, that WILL finish off any hostile aircrafts, the clip just cut short

using the F117 as a carpet bomber is crazy since it only has 2 hardpoints for guided bombs only lol

When you and an enemy call in the Interceptors at the same time, They'll kind of cancel out and actually "dogfight" in the air!
I like how the sam launcher changes visually when it fires a missile.

There was nothing like air patrol wiping the skies clean and hearing the female announcer go "Hooah". I loved how the announcer (dispatcher) actually talked to the person running the scorestreak in cold war
I'm glad the interceptors are still deafening as they fly overhead though, even if it's over a lot faster
The death animation for the Chopper Gunner is HAUNTING.

Really miss when modern warfare had the ac 130 and black ops had the gunship/hind I actually just really miss the hind one of my favorite streaks in cod history

Very interesting they used the AC-119 rather than the normal AC-130, still its very realistic atleast it also drops the Daisy Cutter "bomb" (it was used more to make space for helicopters to land on the jungles of vietnam)
I like how every other kill streak is just intense brutality while the nuke is just "yeah im gonna need a nuke here, right now"

05:50 is that Ministry? never in my life imagined it would be in a cod game, someone at treyarch has good taste for industrial.
NIN in the campaign at one point as well. I wasn’t familiar with the chopper gunner song but seeing as it’s also an industrial band it’s likely the person who handles Sync Licensing for activision loves industrial.
@@Viper-dz2kw Well yes! Trent took a lot of inspiration from Ministry to make NiN and did not know as well NiN was on the campaign, honestly I haven't played the new cod so im surprised to know this.
