  • Bloodywood blew me away with a whole new genre of music that I had never before discovered. Machi Bhasad will defifinately leave you to expect a riot. When Bollywood meets heavy metal you get the brilliance of Bloodywood. Check out my first reaction to Bloodywood and Machi Bhasad (expect a riot)...

Thanks for checking out Bloodywood. I as well love the combination of traditional Indian instruments and metal. It's a great combination.
And speaking of unusual metal bands. Try Voice of Baceprot - God, Allow Me (Please) To Play Music (Official Music Video)
It's a metal band from Indonesia consisting of three muslim girls.

Glad you have discovered these guys 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻Such awesome guys. The biggest hearts 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 Check out Yaad next. Bring the tissues. Hang in for the bit after the song. They have such a great message. They have got a lot of really good songs 🔥🔥🔥🔥These guys are amazing.
It's more like Bollywood meets Linkin Park 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Jayant Bhadula is the growly voice and Raoul Kerr is the guy rapping in English and the main man on guitar is Karan Kitiya. All incredibly talented

How can you not like these guys? They seem to be having a lot of fun. They often have extra footage at the end of their videos.

I like to describe them as...
Linkin Park + Rage Against the Machine + curry = Bloodywood 🤘

Yep, I too heard Take the Power Back (Rage Against the Machine) early on in this song. Also I am pretty sure I have never seen an Indian guy with long hair - lol.

Hi from Germany... Really nice reaction, please more....
„Aaj" should definitely be the next Bloodywood song, it's a freakin anthem!!! 😊😊😊
And just in case, you want to react to another masterpiece of music, at least in my opinion, please do "FAUN ft. ELUVEITIE - GWYDION ", German pagan folk meets Swiss Folk metal...❤❤❤
Stay safe and greetz from GER

They really do a lot of social and political commentary in their songs. And tend to walk the walk, behind the scenes.
For other songs by them, I'd recommend 'Gaddar', 'Aaj', and 'Dana-Dan'.

Love this band, I've seen them live. They have great live energy, just like the last one I included below.
Other popular metal/rock bands that mix traditional music:
The HU - Yuve Yuve Yu (Official Music Video)
BABYMETAL - メタり!! (feat. Tom Morello) (OFFICIAL Live Music Video) - The song name is Metali and sorry, they don't add subtitles, but usually there is enough to see/hear with them, subtitles are a distraction the first time, the song theme is about combining traditional Japanese 'festival' with metal.

I should add: The Hu is Mongolia and Babymetal from Japan, Babymetal mixes lots of genres, but a bunch of their most popular songs mix with traditional Japanese music

Hello, I know you like "acapella groups", that's why I want to share with you my new discovery. They are called "VOCES8" and to start "Carrickfergus" is, in my opinion, one of their best performances. Knowing how you feel music, I'm sure you'll enjoy them. Greetings from across the ocean and stay well 👋👋.

Check out Ningen Isu - Heartless Scat. It's a Japanese metal band with HUGE Black Sabbath influences.

If you're interesting in stretching just a bit more, take a look at collaborations between Bloodywood and India's first professional female bagpiper -- Archie Jay, aka "The SnakeCharmer." Raoul Kerr (member of Bloodywood) joins TSC for this high energy video: "Irish Punjabi Party (New Way Forward)" ruclips.net/video/X0z67CFm6Bs/видео.html Unless you're already familiar with TSC, I'm quite sure you've never seen or heard anything quite like this!
