Bloodywood is an amazing band, with some of the noblest people in it as the members. Each of their song has a purpose, just like you just experienced here in 'Aaj'. For the next Bloodywood, I highly suggest 'Yaad' and 'Dana Dan'. The messages are strong in those two songs. I really love watching this reaction, watching you being excited about this amazing band. Thanks, Nittpicc!! 🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼

The flutist/guitarist is Karan. He's a genius. He also directs and produces all the music videos for the band, edits and masters it. He's also does the music edit and mastering.
Bloodywood are independent band. All music production is in house and they are self published. No label.

The Linkin Park connection makes sense. They were clearly an influence on Bloodywood. It's like they went, "Let's mix Linkin Park with folk metal, but also let's make all of our lyrics super positive and supportive of people." and bam, a fucking amazing band formed.

Bloodywood not only make banger music but also gives such a deep message in their video. In this age where lot of musician go after "hookup girls cars alcohol guns"
For their mvs , bloodywood is like that positivity we needed to see on screen for society. I've read lot of comments saying how their music is so much impactful for them.
Truly the band of a kind. ❤bloodywood

And with the indian influences it is just perfection. The energy these guys bring is on another level for sure! I was just as happy to watch you as you watching them! The band is from New Deli. I believe the rapper, the screamer, and the flutist/guitarist are the only permanent members of the band. They're very much into political and social commentary in their music, mostly on problems in India, but those problems exist everywhere to some degree. 'Gaddar' is about the need to keep religion and politics separate; 'Dana-Dan' is how it's the rapists and wife beaters who need to be beat up, and not their victims as is traditional in India. Another song is about mental health... another is about having to say goodbye to an old dog.
Their music can be considered Nu-Metal, with Indian folk metal influences. So yeah, Linkin Park and Rage Against The Machine would be influences on them.

A gorgeous reaction to the gorgeous song, thank you so much! Little to none expect broad academic studies DURING the presentation (fine to have that AFTER it), reactions are all about emotional perception… which should be bright but not abundant as well. I'm so glad you got around to Bloodywood. Their songs generally have a message. Some will make you weep, some will make you rage. Karan (flute, guitar), Jayant (harsh vocals), and Raoul (rap) are the core of Bloodywood, and do the writing. The bassist and drummer also tour with them, and they also have a dhol player. Karan writes and tracks everything save the drums. Anything off their first album "Rakshak" is worth checking out. You mentioned everything being done with love, you are absolutely right. Not only are they passionate musicians, but they are kind hearted, humble, and wonderful humans. Always ready to laugh. I saw them in Dallas, (on the "Nine Inch Naans" tour) and it was great to hear a bunch of Americans singing in Hindi. They are currently working on their second album, probably coming out early next year.

"Flute can be cool!" Ha! Before I listened to Bloodywood I wouldn't have agreed with that. Not something you hear in metal songs and it took me by surprise when I first found myself thinking that the flute sounded amazing. What?! The flute solo is awesome? It is! Just that I never thought I'd ever say such a thing. They have quite a few songs where the flute stands out - Ari Ari and Jee Veeray spring to mind. Flute can be cool. Liked the reaction by the way. I've heard this song many times but it's great to see someone listen to it for the first time and get it like you did.

Lots of flute in Bloodywood, and Karan is so good with it. It's prominent in Endurant, a song about bullying (watch out for that one, it made me cry, in a good way 🙂) and Jee Veerey (about depression, everyone cries). They write amazing songs with positive messages and powerful emotions, and are one of the best bands I've discovered in 20 years.

These guys are very hardworking. Toured a lot last years. "OldSkuleNerd" did meet them in Houston over a year back. Super random guys!
I believe they're an independent band. At least was it for a time
Funded by donations by people all over the world. It started when "Ari ari" went viral a few years back.
