Here on TheTopher, I'm known for putting a camera on my face and driving cars. Whether it's about any of my personal cars or reviews on weekly press vehicles, the goal is to give you an idea of what a certain car is like to drive or live with. Most of my videos are filmed in POV, with my clothes on, and (for like the 5th time) with in-ear binaural audio. Which, if I haven't made it clear yet, is why you should wear headphones. Because of the whole "woah" factor. It's there, trust me. Try it, it's pretty nuts. Or don't. As long as you whitelist me on your adblocker I'm okay with whatever you do or don't do with regards to headphone usage. That is all. Oh and I guess you should also probably subscribe. Why are you still reading this, you should be watching the video. With headphones! Hah, had to sneak that in there one more time. Later!

@@851995STARGATE I know the zf transmission is fast. It’d faster than the Chevy and ford 10speed but the dct is like butter tho

I’ve been here it’s in Pontiac Michigan I forgot but I think 60 for 30 minutes but they actually take you on a 3 minute ride I would not go not worth the money

After watching when you use the paddle shifters on video it looks like it's a slight delay after you hit it. Is this true or is it just video lag?

Okay so it looks like these cars need a trans tune I feel like it shifts too slow that delay changes everything. Now Chevy and Ford has the fastest shifts I've seen this far from the factory.

@@matty1053 I enjoy all manufacturers Ford,Dodge and Chevy but seeing that the hellcat is one of their top tier cars there is no reason the transmission should be shifting that slow. Ford and Chevy makes a 30k plus vehicle that shifts way faster without any delay. I feel like that is unacceptable as a performance standpoint that's all.

I’m not a fan of dodge really cuz they go deep in the modifications but not the interior looks terrible. I personally don’t think that the challenger hellcat isn’t for drifting I think it’s more for track. When you drifted there it just sounded like pins and needles didn’t sound that great. Overall it was ok

it's a late apex. specifically useful for tight turns or turns that get tighter. he does hit the apex, but it's very late, for a reason.

Not sure how different of tranny's are in the hellcats but I test drove an RT and it was really unresponsive, I smacked the Rev limiter in the test drive cuz it shifts so slow
@@grahamj1111 Damn, that's really disappointing. I was toying with the idea of leasing a hellcat as a weekend car but I would definitely want the 8 speed. For the price of the car I would like to enjoy some responsive paddle shifters when I want. Jaguars are a similar price point.
