      I love them too. Depending on where you are located, they can be one of the easier species to find, as far as goodeids are concerned due to their prolific nature. Check back when the weather improves 😉

    Hello. First time watcher here. I was wondering what that plant is on the left side of your tank there in the square glass bowl. it looks a lot like a weed in my yard here in Indianapolis. Nice vid on an uncommon species. thanks.

      TheUltimate Life Depending on where you are, there are local clubs and swaps where you can find them. Otherwise, Greg Sage at selectaquatics.com is a great place to start! If you reach out to him, tell him I said hi! I can ship as well but will be holding off until it gets a little cooler. Best of luck and thanks for watching!

    hello nice video I'm trying to grow some Dwarf sagetteria I was wondering if you have any tips you can give me I have osmocote root tabs in my substrate I have a sand and gravel substrate I don't have a dirted substrate though I have good lighting and stuff like that thanks

    • @AndrewPiorkowski
      @AndrewPiorkowski  6 лет назад

      Frankie skates The plant will grow in gravel with root tabs but as a heavy root feeder, dirt or a rich planted substrate is needed. I posted a video about it right around new years, check it out. Struggled with the plant for a while until I stuck it in a dirted pot and it thrived. Never looked back! Thanks for watching and best of luck! Let me know how it goes!

    Hello. do the fish show aggression to other fish?

    • @AndrewPiorkowski
      @AndrewPiorkowski  5 лет назад

      They definitely have a reputation for it. It really has nothing to do with hunting, they can be very active with males constantly chasing eachother. It could be too much for smaller fish or those with dramatic finnage.
