Glissando is my favorite. It adds a warm tone to pieces

as a beginner who cannot play in tune, glissando to me is finger adjustment with musicality

The trill and glissando sound so nice with the tone of the violin

Don't forget, the composer can put a little star or letter next to a sign and then at the bottom of the page it tells you how to play it the way the composer wants it. An example is Romance no°2 in F by Beethoven.

Thanks to the comment section I now know what this is. I've heard it so many times, but didn't know the name for it. I'm surprised how many variations there are.

Well in essence glissando is a form of shifting. Depending on the music you can go for a hearable shift or a clean shift.

At glissando my brain automatically turns out an "EGG Head man" song, or Xio Piao... something...

What is the name of #6? Ty. As a flutist, I’d never known there was an octave “tremelo” ornament-we can’t do that! It’s wonderful!❤Ty for these examples.

use a bow, rather than a pick, plectrum or drum stick. (tee hee) 🌹
