@ 16:30 It is a FIAT 850, Produced between 64' and mid 73' Fiat then brought out other variants in summer 65. In addition numerous independent body manufacturers produced their own vehicles using the 850 floor pan. These had a 0.84-0.9litre 4 cylinder engine in them. Model below was the 600 and 1 above was the 127, X1/9 So yes, Fiat guys. I had to watch this again and again, pausing at every car I could see. Loved the blue Cortina, looked in reasonable condition considering where it is. Mk1 Transit❤ Awesome van, knew someone with a camper conversion a few years ago, was very original and was starting to require heavy amounts of welding to keep on the road. Think the little red car at 18.57 is a DAF 44 Daffodil. I pulled an engine out of 1 of those when I was 10 and ran the motor on the work bench not strapped to anything, just fuel in the fuel make it happener, and quick spark from a battery LOL It damn near dropped on my lap LOL I was driving at age 10 in an old Morris van, then a Ford Van. Incidentally the DAF 66 was actually a Volvo, seen a couple of those in there as well. Argh yes I feel your pain Bro, walking past the motors, it's a place that's easily a 2 day explore. Great vid though. 👌
The BMW is the first Neue Klasse, a 4 door saloon, that the -02 was later derived from. Badged 1500, 1600, 1800 or 2000 according to engine capacity. Introduced in 1962, four years before the introduction of the '02s.
6:05 - BMW "Neue Klasse" (New Class). BMW 1500/1600, later with stronger engines (1800, 2000) and slightly modified design. This particular exemplar I think it is 2000, late model with restyled square front and rear lights. My favourite in this video is Ford Taunus P3 (4:48, 21:30). 16:00 - Fiat 850
Another great instalment! Love your enthusiasm for finding the cars and looking inside - just maybe the next one will have its steering wheel and dials left …. So many cars left here - would love to know the back story. Awesome video 👍👍
Nice one again. You mentioned America There are some amazing "junkyards" and private old collections just sitting around. Especially in the warmer states. In North Carolina I used to see old cars just abandoned on the side of the road where they had broken down. A local mechanic we knew used to collect them and always planned to do them up 🛢️ Car heaven there.
1st of real people, not a Bot comment. Great upload Bro, loving where your at, I'm not jealous at all!! Would love to have been along for this one. I know it's impossible to show every motor so you do well to squeeze what you can do in without dragging it across a month's worth of vids. Keep it up Bro, going from strength to strength 💪
The red car was a 1971 era Fiat 850 these had a single slatted rear engine cover The 850 sport had a slightly different engine cover which had 2 rows of slats on it for its up rated 903cc engine.
Hi Imstokze, the BMW at 6.00 minutes is not a BMW 2002. It is the sedan a class higher. It is a BMW 1600/1800 (also available as TISA from Alpina)/2000 (also as Tii). This BMW model had just saved BMW from bankruptcy! At that time, BMW only had small cars or V8 luxury cars, which meant the company was in crisis! The model was an insane rusty beast! At 16:18 minutes, you see a Fiat 850. At 17.00 minutes, I thing it is an Opel Rekord P2 Caravan (very rare as Caravan!). At 20.38 Minutes an Opel Rekord A. cheers Klaus from Düsseldorf
That 4 door white BMW I believe is an 1800 model. we had one in the 70's. Yes you were correct with Fiat. it was the 850 model. The Cortina's are called Ford Taunus out there. Loads of British cars and vans too. I think I have seen that place before in someone else's video a couple of years ago. There is just too much to see in one go. Did you find out if they belong to anyone still? What a scene though, brilliant. Thanks for this.
@@deanosaur808 Oh yes thanks, The original MK1's were Consul Cortina's until they dropped the Consul and just called it Cortina. It wasn't until 1970 onwards with the MK3 that the Taunus body was almost identical to the Cortina. From 76 it was identical. I should have known this as had both MK1 and MK3 Cortina's back in the day. It was all a long time ago 🙂
The red car under great debate, whether it was a VW or a Fiat looked like a Fiat 850, The car that looked like a Morris towards the end was in fact a Morris Oxford also there were several Vauxhall Victors that did not get a mention!
This is an old junkyard which was Great untill the brothers dead ,the.concil cleaned out a whole field of cars ,look AT old videos from båstnäs before people trash and dismantlad cars .Was a good one outside uppsala but when the old man died the widow got a note from council clean up or high ticket lokal yard crush the cars . And even bloms junkyard outside Sundsvall has to clean up
Just amazing how massive the place is just shame that nothing can be saved just think how long it would take to clear the place out but how much money in scrap metal in them woods
Id love to see a stateside stokez n not to tread on toes but we havnt really got any decent cars like the yanks do i mean we got the 3i they got the cobra mustang we got the cav they got the vette we got the ford ranger they got the raptor as brits we get skanked when it comes to motors
That blue mk.1 Cortina could well be a Lotus one .....looking at how much it hasn't rotted could mean it has ally panels which could mean Lotus . They used ally to lighten them for racing . Keep up the great work chief 👊❤
@@marktaylor9678 Whatever ..... It was only a suggestion as to the fact it hadn't rotted at all , and if you are refering to the fact that they were all white with green striping , someone could have ACTUALLY RE-SPRAYED it .
No they didn't 🤔 maybe you are confusing the 'new class' which gave birth to the 02 series. Also, not all 02 series are 2002s The lowly 1502 has the same body, yet people wet themselves think it a 2002 turbo/tii or similar 😆
You are looking at it in the wrong way. There are only so many people out there that want these cars. The good ones are in collections, and the bad one scrapped or left to rot. Obviously they become more desirable when we see less on the road, but there are tons of good ones out there sitting in dusty old garages in perfect condition yet rarely used. 75k old minis in the UK, only 25k are still on the road. 50k sorn 😥
Guess you didn't see the video where they were bringing back tons of these old scrap cars and parts from Portugal to the UK 😉 That guy was making a fortune from parts that were barely recognisable 🤯

Wow more awesome classics so good, in the forest 🌳 great video Stu

And no way is that a Porsche 356? 12:34

And 95% or more have already long gone to car heaven 😥
Gotta make room for the new plastic cars 😅
Lil red fiat is the fiat 850
It is a shame that they are left there like that

Fiat 127 ?
Hi it’s a Fiat, 850
These ain’t classics, it’s just a load of scrap steel, they have nothing to do with the classic car scene in this condition
HHmmmm - its find like this that enable a lot of classics to remain on the road though...
Guess you didn't see the video where they were bringing back tons of these old scrap cars and parts from Portugal to the UK 😉
That guy was making a fortune from parts that were barely recognisable 🤯
