This GS Style Bracelet Is Too Good For This Affordable Watch!

- It's the sort of bracelet I'd expect to see on a high end Seiko or even Grand Seiko. I wanted to review this watch because of how it looked but when it arrived the bracelet totally stole the show. It appears no corners were cut when making this bracelet.

WHY I OFTEN DON'T MENTION OTHER BRANDS IN MY VIDEOS.
You may have noticed that I often don't mention the original brands that watches I am reviewing pay homage to. This is very intentional and not meant to offend you or the original brands. I lost my first channel in October 2020 which I had spent 9 months growing and invested a significant amount of money in simply because I had mentioned the original brands in some of my videos. There are people who try to use RUclipss lack of understanding when it comes to the difference between homage watches and fake watches to attack other channels and their owners and sadly I fell foul of this in 2020. This channel was also attacked recently and RUclips deleted content simply because I had said 'subby homage' and 'Rolex homage' in two videos despite the watches in the videos being perfectly legal homage watches. Please understand that I can not afford to risk my channel so I will no longer be mentioning other brands when reviewing homage watches.

If you were describing this to me I'd say "no thanks". I haven't got a red dial and I think of gold hands as belonging on vintage watches but it just works. I'd see the unidirectional bezel as a plus, you don't turn it all that often and its less likely to be turned ( in one direction anyway) accidentally The 200 grammes is the thing that would put me off though.
In my line of work a rubber strap is the most practical, however I do appreciate the versatility of a bracelet,and this one looks excellent. This does look very good. The weird date is slightly tragic though.
308 us before discounts I'm on the fence about, 250 and it's a buy but nh34 ali at this price is just a bit much.

Got to agree with you on the chunkiness of Aquatico watches when you have one on your wrist you know it's there, they do feel solid and the quality is good as well for an affordable piece

If they're going to do a 4:30 date window, it needs to be at bloody 4:30 and not 4:40 and it needs a custom print date wheel for the numerals to be the right way 'round.
I wish they had gone without the slanted date window. That is to me the major fly in the ointment. To date or not to date. That is the question.
This is a great watch. I do wish they made some smaller watches. If their Type B Flieger was smaller, I would already own it. Thanks for showing it to us again.
Looks very nice Gary . Nice bracelet too! I do like some good heft in a watch personally. 200 gms is nice. My heaviest is my old 44.5mm Orient Mako XL, 220gm with one link removed!

I really like your videos Gary, but I appreciate creators even more when they are extra transparent about gifted watches.
I know it has the brief text disclaimer when you first start the video in the upper left hand corner, but a lot of people don't even know to look for that. And I know you mention in the show notes, but most don't read those.
This transparency is barely above meeting RUclips's minimal standards, and to me it's also about the spirit of transparency that matters.
It's not that big of a deal, you just quickly state it and then say they get no advanced notice or editorial control, etc, etc.

Nicely crafted watch and indeed very well crafted stylish bracelet however in my opinion this watch at a reasonable selling price would be great at $325.00
lift angle is quite important whilst on the timegraph old chap....... 53º would be nice next time thank you.

i've been looking for a GMT for years and I haven't found one.
we like to review new watches as people are most interested in new releases and there are just a lot of them now that the NH34 exists...sorry
The Seiko GMT movement is a caller GMT, the one where you stay put and the red hand shows the time somewhere else. Useful if you have family in other countries, or your timezone is not GMT and you fancy knowing what the GMT time is. Or, if you work underground or in a submarine and don't get to see the sky, use the GMT hand as a 24 hr indicator - many possibilities and none of them have to do with travelling. I see 4 hand movements become almost the norm, like date complications - there was a time when no watches had dates. I'm sure many folks wondered then what is the point, they have calendars after all
A traveller GMT movement - those are expensive and to me they seem pointless if you are not an international pilot or jet-setting business person
