    Thanks for many comments! One thing I can say is no e-brake style is just one of many drifting styles. In my opinion Drifting is like Music that has many styles like fork,pop and heavy metal. No one can tell which is the best. People listen to what they like. So drift in your own way.That is the best for you.Mine is old school style forever!

      I agree. I drift whatever I am in. All cars have different wants when driving. Also everything changes depending on what class you run. I can drift in a ff car as long as we are going for speed and not style. But when it comes to drifting for points it comes to making it look good in which you are going slow, in which a ff car has no chance. All cars are instruments and like to be plucked accordingly.

      duza but it is easier to initiate a drift with a hand brake though. In addition it’s easier to maintain a drift or to make corrections during the drift by using the e-brake. Not relying on the e-brake forces you hone other driving skills like braking, timing, weight transfer, throttle control etc. Nothing wrong with using the e-brake but it does take a lot more skill to not have to rely on it.

      I don't see him doing that when drifting. Going down gears, yes, but he's clutch kicking to build the revs and getting the car to rotate into a drift. That's a rally driving technique when you don't want to use a handbrake.

    • @steve_ire321
      @steve_ire321 5 лет назад +2

      @@Overland_RC Yeah, but that's why he's clutch kicking. When he's heel and toeing, he's doing it before an apex as you normally would. Although that one part he's doing it when trial braking into the apex and not in a straight line, so he's drifted into the corner.Not a fan of drifting, unless its rally. It's a great video showing his footwork nonetheless.

    You can drifting using a brake pedal to slide your rear with encounter your steering or a gas pedal for making power slide or Clutch pedal to forcing the wheels to get some slide and responsive acceleration power like keichi tsuchiya did as drift king.
    E-brake is just a last choice for the simple people to drifting quickly... But for me it's just a beginner technique.

      Ceasar P you gotta go damn fast to inertia drift

    • @CP-cf4dc
      @CP-cf4dc 5 лет назад +1

      Yup! I wish he had his entry speed on the screen. You could make the argument that Formula D entry speeds are anywhere from 60-100mph as well. I think most people would be scared to initiate the drift with inertia only though. It’s much easier to feel a car out and break traction with a hydro-brake.
      I wonder how fast can he possibly be going. His highest entry speed is probably coming off a straight and he probably has a modded NA 20 valve.

    I don't understand how you're able to catch the car at 1:56 especially on the brakes. Is that due to steering angle, quickness in countersteering the wheel, alignment or just skill?
    If I try to snap that hard (especially while on the brakes) I end up doing a 180. help

    I love clutch kicking and feint. One question though. Is your brake balance increased to the rear or you are not using a brake balance bar?

    • @runningfree86Driftcomplexx
      @runningfree86Driftcomplexx  5 лет назад

      I use a dial type brake balancer. And Front brake has to be stronger than Rear brake. If Rear brake is stronger than Front one, you can't stop sliding rear tires. and you can't make quick weight shift when you start braking. Sorry for my poor English.

    • @0Freguenedy0
      @0Freguenedy0 5 лет назад

      @@runningfree86Driftcomplexx your English is great. Thanks for the response. I know the front need more brake than the rear, but did you increased the rear brake in relation to the stock AE86?

    • @rafgekas7401

      To increase the revs, bring more power out of the engine so as to spin the rear wheels. It's called a clutch kick and it is a great way to start a drift or continue it while in a corner.
