One of the best bands in the beginning of the 70s. Guitarrist here Les Harvey (brother of Alex) who tragically died on stage because of an electric shock in 1972.

How did this band slip beneath my radar? Heard of Stone the Crows and Maggie Bell back in the day but sadly neither got much recognition here in the states, that I know of. What musicians and what a vocalist! Thank you so much for posting. They just kill it!

Been a big fan of many many bands from the 60s and 70s since I was young and inherited my parents records! Have heard of these but never given them a good try. This is pretty banging I gotta say! Always prefer a good live set to get acquainted with a group!! Thanks man.

Singer gives off some Janis and Grace Slick vibes. Cool piece of music history.

Penultimate song is called "The Touch of your Loving Hand" and the opening song is "Raining in Your Heart". Both were composed by guitarist Les Harvey and are the first two tracks on STC's eponymous first album.
Stone The Crows were my favourite band in my early teens - great stuff.

Sounds adventurous! Knew the band's name but not their music. The images of the band and the audience are great, a time document. My 24-year-old son watched along and thought it was a bit like Deep Purple 😅...
I have just discovered that they performed at the illustrious Pop Festival Kralingen (Rotterdam) on 26 June 1970.
