mikkozak totally agree. a lot like it to the Cult p, but it's not. Another thing is in this performance is the bass player! as a bassist I love how he turns and listen to himself on his rig. brilliant

Oh my word, this band is so great live! Saw them a year ago, and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. They didn't play Open Fire though--so thanks to the OP for letting me enjoy this! :)

Take note? Since their debut every album has sold less. The last 3 didn't crack 500,000. I love this band but I never hear them in America. No one knows about them. They need to grind out a tour over here.
+LegettHall they tour here in North America. we just caught them in Toronto Sept. 23 .15 and they did dates in New Jersey and Boston. you have to check their web site for tour dates . this the third time they have played Toronto in 3 years, great show live for sure.
+MajorWatt they don't alway play the old Marshals they have a Vox 30 full blast that is mic ed and are now using Wizard amps made in Canada. really they could play almost anything they sound comes from the attack and style they play. sound is also technique. either way they have it worked out and they rock thats the main thing.
Cannot disagree with all the love for such a brilliant band, Permission to Land was such a banger album. I was lucky enough to get into them early enough to get tickets for a Xmas gig in Liverpool when they went massive rescheduled after Justin recovered from illness and wow were we given a show, what a top top band , thanks for so many happy memories guys.

OK, its the last 10 years of AC/DC, Brian its off, but now its possible this new way with the Darkness, now are a mature band, with quality, this new album was recording far away to the city, in a island, like AC/DC with the Back in Black album in Bahamas!! its the same route guys. I think, that this is a great choice to listen again the real rock. We salute you Darkness!! thanks so!!

No way they would sound this awesome if they weren't going for a She Sells Sanctuary sound. Love it!!! I just hope they don't go past the early 90's for their inspiration.
That’s a terrible thing to wish on any artist. They take inspiration from wherever the hell they damn please, and if you aren’t along for the ride that’s your issue. Put your horse blinders on and continue on your way.
No curse intended toward this kick ass rock band. They are rock royalty and as such, make their own rules while paying homage to the rock gods that came before them such as Queen, AC/DC, Aerosmith, etc.

Love the song and the band and their live energy... but this performance is rushed over, and Justin is straining like stupid, which you can hear and see. Makes it unenjoyable for me.
