That is so creative! It’s only a little annoying that the car models are not super high quality and kind of have a clay / super cartoonish look to them. But hey, we have to make the best out of what EA gives us😅.
if it helps the live edit mode cars are a little higher quality
@@Cat-sf1mii am never able to find live edit cars tho, even after putting bb.showhiddenobjects and bb.showliveeditobjects and searching up **DEBUG**

Im going to use this to make my sim live in a car
I just wish that one day we'll get cars. I know that the lots don't really make sense (not every lot has road next to it) but I cannot imagine a life (IRL) without a car. And - I'm colletcting masterpieces in my basement - why couldn't I collect sportscars ? And the nostalgia hit me right now after typing this... The Restorable Junk Car from Sims 2 xD

Have to admit, I didn't like building in Sims 4 at all (much preferred Sims 3) before I found your shorts. Your ideas are so cool though, that now I'm having fun with it! :)

A Brilliant Idea, however i'd Discourage it for any players who have Seasons, as thunderstorms will be able to wake sleeping sims up and strike them, so in that case it is better to have some kind of roof above them, but during times without storms or rain/snow, this would still be a interesting little thing
This is fun for setting up community lots if you don't have a pack that has tents!

This is so cool! It's like when I realized they can walk through debug rocks and I built my hidden faery home. (I placed so many rocks😶)

Honestly for real tho as someone who primarily does rags to riches this looks way more practical and realistic than the tent or cot, and debug is free, baby!
Go to either TSR or Mod the Sims and they might have cars there, at least I still hope they are. They had them before the Pandemic. If I recall correctly I think the cc creator's name was Prince or Twisted Mexi. That is if you really want fancy cars.

The debug thing never worked for me bec when i type debug nothing would come up after I put the code in but when i found a youtube video that was actually really helpful it said i had to go on the part were you can pick what colours you want to use in your build go to another section and then boom its there under the name mysterious i think but yeah ty to that youtube video the only one that actually helped

Okay please help me and tell me if I’m doing something wrong. It’s worked before, yeeeeaaaarrs ago, but no matter how hard I try now, my 9 key DOES NOT WORK!! When I have an object selected and I press 9 it just does some weird thing and moves my screen 😭

Can someone explain why we have to do the basement and raise with 9 key instead of just placing it on the ground? Will it not work the same
I believe if you just place it on the ground the Sim can't walk through it and access the bed. Since it's technically in the basement, the Sim can walk through it and get to the bed even though it appears as if the car is actually on the ground
My Sims game says "command failed" when I try the "show hidden objects" cheat, how do I fix that
