Love the space elevator shadow - I could imagine living there and being able to tell the time of day based on where the shadow is casting, the cities like a giant sundial! Looking amazing so far btw
Now that would be a brilliant idea and fitting theme for the waterfront. A giant sundial with numbers along the waterfront, matching the shadow of the Space Elevator!
I imagine that this city is like a capture of this moment - when humanity is borderline before free space travel for ordinary people. Not in a “tourism” way but like proper owning a spaceship like a car. Would be perfect to see a huge expo-center with first commercial spacecrafts, sorta like first Ford cars back in the day, but completely new era. Hope you see this comment, you are a real inspiration!
Ooooo that bridge level that goes into being the building roof is really sick! I absolute the way you did those planets, so efficient! And those towers 👌 and im such a sucker for those big ghost in the shell holograms! That pink budha fits perfectly on that round tower in that space! I bet a bit of greenery, vines or such or something with bright flowers, hanging down the curved facade down the trees would look sick.
Asset builders must feel privileged/honoured when you take their assets off the workshop and completely change it to something that doesn’t even resemble the original asset anymore :) Love your vids!
I always thought Aurelia was “the” masterpiece, turns out it wasn’t even close. 😊 This is on a new level I didn’t even thought was possible. Keep it up please, it’s magnificent.
Really cool you are so talented. What would be interesting to have is a small solarpunk area with small farms around them just as a mini build later in the series.
One thing for your water fronts; in a hot city the water front really lives up at night, with restaurants, activities, or just walking. I'm not sure if CS can make a night only park, but it would look great. If you need inspiration, I suggest looking at Manila Bay, during the day mostly deserted in the heat, but really nice from sunset on
When you'll eventually make first person train/tram ride videos, are you going to upload separate daytime and nighttime versions? Really looking forward for those BTW!
I love this part - the layers, with industrial stuff visible on rooftops below the upper walkways, is so amazing to see. The vivid bridges and ads are so cool, and the lights on buildings are also so great. I'm wondering if the flying train line could use some lesser lighting along its length, too - it would certainly make it fit this theme. Later more fully industrial areas will be great to see too, meshing with and still contrasting the style of these clean residential/office areas. Those twin apartment buildings at the front are also quite striking, having them lit up with spotlights from below might make it just that bit better even if it's not quite too realistic to point lights like that at peoples' windows - it's futuristic, they can polarize their windows.
I like the overall style of this city. Sort of post cyberpunk and I definitely get a bit of anime vibe from it too. Masamune Shirow. Appleseed/Ghost in the Shell/etc. Or like the minis game/RPG Infinity, which is heavily Shirow influenced, and has this sort of colorful SF look. I feel like if there is something on the workshop that replaces the police cars with police mecha, it would fit in nicely here.
With most RUclipsrs I can recognise what buildings they're using and even spot when they have the same asset list as me. But your buildings you place are so unique! Around 9:00 to 10:00 there's so many varied buildings and I wish you'd give us your asset list!
Your videos are always very interesting and I'm always happy when I see a new one! I wish my pc could handle cities:skylines so I could try to make cities just like yours, though I probably don't have as much skill as You do.
As always your work is superb. The city already looks amazing. I am also hoping for some flying cars as well :D (so stereotypical...I know...) :D but thank you for the awesome episode!
Love the new builds and the green pavilions. One suggestion is that the network extensions style pedestrian sidewalks remind me of Aurelia too strongly.
Breaking up the green pavement with the planters is definitely the move. I hope more of those large green patches get planters or other types of detail to make them less plain looking
Me here sitting anxiously thinking what would happen to my game performance with this 15 POs I used for a building roof, while Akruas built an entire train, tram, stadium and bridges entirely with PO.
Wasnt feeling the green surfaces for the first few episodes but it looks great at night. Still think maybe some other surfaces/colors should be used elsewhere for some variety, but i am feeling the green.
Your bridge's arches remind me a lot of the two arches used to support the inverting element on Moonsault Scramble (an old roller coaster that used to operate at Fuji-Q Highland). Look it up, I think you'd like it!
@Arkruas There's this concrete wall prop you use to make custom retaining walls that's absolutely fantastic. I can't find that in your asset list -- could you post the link for that please?
you can always say someone who needs the elevator can go inside the buildings. and being the future I'm sure there are all sorts of solutions to allow people who cant use stairs to use them.
Looking at the new tram/pedestrian bridge, no matter what the official name of it might end up being, I can see the locals just referring to it as the Bow tie
re: accessability... I believe a world with flying trains has solved individual people with heavy disabilities getting around town. They'll have little levitating scooters to get them up some stairs easily.
this architecture is like a screw gearbox: interconnected soo much it can handle a lot fo stress, but collectively collapse when it fails to withstand its opposing force.
What if the shadow of the space elevator became a sundial, with numbered buildings strategically placed around the city. Would be dependent on which cardinal direction the space elevator is from the city, and in which hemisphere you want the city to be in
One question I always have is how do you get that many mods in CS running. U have a R7 1700x and and GTX 10 series card and it looks so smooth. How. Just how.
You NEED to make an Advanced Procedual Objects & Move-It tutorial. Ive seen several on youtube and theyre trash. The way you use PO to edit small details in grass, walls, sidewalks, borderwalks, buildings etc is so unique and Id kill to learn it, but PO is too advanced to figure out yourself from scratch.
You are doing very well, you are working very hard, you have a special skill, but you talk a lot, I wish RUclips had a dead option, believe me, my brain went crazy 😂
the part about people saying you should do this in blender makes no sense to me. why? because the benefit of procedural objects is that you can adjust the vertices for whatever you want in the workspace in real time. no need to go to blender, export it then import it into the game, then make it an asset etc. this is far FAR more productive. I have experience in blender, I might be slightly advanced, but I am by no means a pro. I still don't know how to bake normal maps. To be able to use procedural objects in the game instead opens the up the possibilities for so many people that don't want to go through all those extra steps with blender. I just wish there were some good tut vids on how to use it like you do.
No, they're only banned in certain parts that have stairs, because he didn't want to see them climbing up stairs because of the way the game works. (He didn't do that in Aurelia and they break the immersion during the first person train ride videos.)
“Hello everyone, welcome back to Asturis”
My day instantly gets better
Love the space elevator shadow - I could imagine living there and being able to tell the time of day based on where the shadow is casting, the cities like a giant sundial! Looking amazing so far btw
wanted to comment the same but saw you were faster. Would be awesome
Now that would be a brilliant idea and fitting theme for the waterfront. A giant sundial with numbers along the waterfront, matching the shadow of the Space Elevator!
It would be cool if you were playing more with water in a futuristic style: make artificial lakes, big fountains falling from skycrapers ...
Same opinion
Water is kinda tricky in C:S

With all those lights and how you describe the first person ride of the tram i hope this future society has toggled on "recreational drugs" 😁.

I was so bored and you upload. I have been blessed
Hell yeah! Absolutly same.
Really cool you are so talented. What would be interesting to have is a small solarpunk area with small farms around them just as a mini build later in the series.
Maybe yes.

At the very end, he says that he will definitely do a nighttime versions - I hope that means seperate ones too, I'm looing forard to those
the amount of detail is insane

that red detailing in the shops reminds me a lot of monoprix, a known french supermarket.

Love the tropical trees and so awesome to see everyone walking around the area!
Its always so good to watch someone make the most of this game...lovely as usual :)
Asturis is my absolute favourite yt series rn
10:30 oh no the deform tool is amazing! Finally we can make crescents out of rectangular buildings!
Those rgb bridges are definitely something else!
Great work, love how your buildingskills improved over the last couple of years. Well done.
It looks Amazing
That bridge is just stunning!
Interesting hybrid of your original futuristic series and elements of the famous Mars series.
So far it's looking a lot more liveable.
I cant wait till you get all the subs you actually deserve! just insane levels of detail
Your videos are always very interesting and I'm always happy when I see a new one! I wish my pc could handle cities:skylines so I could try to make cities just like yours, though I probably don't have as much skill as You do.
In London, red roads are used exclusively in royal parks to show they are the Queen's roads or something, they look nice anyway.
These night view looks like Blade Runner. I love the massive details you make!
Honey wake up, akruas posted
As always your work is superb. The city already looks amazing. I am also hoping for some flying cars as well :D (so stereotypical...I know...) :D but thank you for the awesome episode!
I would love to see you play Poly Bridge haha! Great work as usual Akruas!
I was thinking about it, not sure how "real" those games are though.
Definitely not much. But It is Fun and the finite elements part is quite good, so you can use some well-known structures. But mainly for Fun haha
And The King is back!!!Remarkable my Liege.
Amazing use of PO on the bridge!
Trees breaking up the light green pedestrian paths look great. Everywhere you put more palm trees looks better actually
The beginning of the build reminded me of the Juscelino Kubitschek bridge in Brasília, Brazil
I tried to create my own city and that made me appreciate your effort even more :)
Your creativity is very inspirational
As always, incredible quality!

They will get more people, that will be more than enough.
I just learned from a landscaper, you need 80cm deep soil for trees to grow on buildings. No issue :-)
The bridges are so cool
If we ever live in the digital world, god forbid, I hope you design the cities!
Me here sitting anxiously thinking what would happen to my game performance with this 15 POs I used for a building roof, while Akruas built an entire train, tram, stadium and bridges entirely with PO.

Red Wall is awesome

I wish I'd travel there, to Asturis :)
Which network tool/item/mod do you use for adjusting the cliff to make piers/ retaining walls look nice?
Terraforming Network?
@Arkruas There's this concrete wall prop you use to make custom retaining walls that's absolutely fantastic. I can't find that in your asset list -- could you post the link for that please?

This looks SOO cool!

this is just amazing

more custom bridges??????? lets gooooooooooooooooo christmas came early this year
0:16 gotta love QIRËЖ logo on the building, unfortunately it is mirrored tho. LoL

Hi this looks amazing love your content keep it up

Where do you stream? I've never seen any notification for streams on your channel.
Streams are on Akruas Twitch channel every Sunday at 17:00 GMT + 2
@@Sir_Sheikhs_Pears 19:00 MSK?
@@nekto4658 yep. He stream from Prague at 17:00 Czech time
Beautiful stuff :)

I really think you'd thrive in Unreal Engine and Blender once you got the workflow and shortcuts down!
Nice vid
WOOHOO!
What's the white bridge in the thumbnail??
The bridge I built in the video.
My GMS soft really electric and notNice tutorialng like a app. Any tips how to fix?
One question I always have is how do you get that many mods in CS running. U have a R7 1700x and and GTX 10 series card and it looks so smooth. How. Just how.
Cinematics don't show the game in real time.
Love from India 👍🏻💐🇮🇳🚩😍😊❤👌🏻🙏🏻
As gpu prices are dropping, you might want to think about getting a better gpu, always in your budget. Love the vids
Starting to remind me of Blade Runner.
😍🔥🔥🔥🔥
it seems that in the future with so many stairs, disabled people will not exist
Or they just find a cure for it or smth
I was recomended this game but I'm not sure... this looks more like work to me. Reminds me of ArchiCAD or AutoCAD.

Can you speed the video a bit up it’s a bit slow

catching up on ya videos, life... am i right?
Can you try to build Welthauptstadt Germania. Its my favourite city even if it didn't realy existe. It will be the best thing if you can build it.
Marvelous that cyclists are banned, they are the bane of pedestrians and drivers.
No, they're only banned in certain parts that have stairs, because he didn't want to see them climbing up stairs because of the way the game works. (He didn't do that in Aurelia and they break the immersion during the first person train ride videos.)
That’s a BILF if I’ve ever seen one! Amazing work as always.
