The beacons would likely be multipurpose. Firstly, of course, they make a great tourist attraction both with a distinct shape on the shoreline and a raised platform. They'd likely be used, as you said, perhaps as some sort of marker for a digital map for anything making the journey from space to the surface or attempting to remain geosynchronous above - this additionally helps for things which are dropping and perhaps too large for the elevator, as they can know exactly where the water is by remaining between the beacons on the elevator and the shore. Likely they may also have some sort of high-speed wireless direct communication from the elevator to the shoreline, rather than sinking such lines to the seafloor. A bit more inconsistent than cables, but faster. I almost would expect an elevator for the trams at that interchange, but I know that's not the kind of city this is. I just sometimes can't easily stop thinking like that, I guess.
this man never fails to amaze me, the way he describes everything he does so even if you don't understand what is going on you can still understand who its supposed to do. Have said this many times and I will say it again, he's HUGELY underrated for the amount of work he puts in his project
It'd be kind of funny if "ancient" is basically just the new term for the early 20th century in the world of Asturis. "Here is a glimpse of the ancient past!"; Shows fucking World War I era England.
Great one! Really just great. The ending of that line looks so good, the curvatures, the elevations, the broadwalks, the tower, the greenery. What a joy to watch. Keept it up!
24:03 "That was pretty much the only option how to do that" - I guess the other options would be to just have a loop around the spire. (Would be a bit annoying with the elevator, of course.) 24:12 Pocket cars (bottom right of the screen) 🚗👜
Beautiful work as always. But I think that these plain office building, in this case the one under the tram stop, need more signs of live. Maybe some signage or an entrance or a coffee stand.
For the beach condos, you could add some type of outdoor swimming pools and water park… though they are at the beach, I know that several beach houses and hotels has swimming pools. Just some ideas for more details… great videos
Wow, we've come sooo far, the ending shots are amazing! Just can't wait for the next ep project :) The stadium beam lights always make me giggle 'cause of the tutle back shape LOL
Beautiful... love the way the city is coming together... you could add a light in the middle of the statue on the roundabout also would love to see a cyberpunk style Corp style plaza somewhere downtown
Looks great! One small critique is the roof with the glass in it. That would never fly in a tropical climate where people are always in need of shade and where a glass roof would just make the station unbearable.
your work is amazing as always, i know it's a far project but I guess a city of this size will have an airport eventually and i have an idea for it, you could do a flying airport supported by lasers beams just like with the space elevator, idk if it will work but i think it would look great
If that little tower at the end of the tram end-station is supposed to be some sort of laser guidance/communication system with the space elevator, then you should put a dish or laser emitter on it's roof.
I enjoy watching your videos! Another great episode. I only miss some decals on the grass surfaces, that will differentiate them one from another a bit.
@@Akruas i see, yeah i beleive all ground networks with a mesh create ruining regardless. you may still use the clip painter on default gravel/pavement pedestrian paths and the sand will come back but thats probably not an option here.
I love your work - this city reminds me of Sydney mixed with Singapore. I'm curious though; what cities (real or fictional) do you take inspiration from for this series?
verry greatly done, once again (like always ;)) but please man, look at the verry last shot and tell me those 2 bridges on the left aren't way to bright.. sorry i have to point this out sinds it's the only thing in the entire city really bothering me at the moment xD but now to stop complaining.. thank you so much akru, your video's are absolutely amazing and i love them so much! keep up the great work ma man!!
Hey Akruas, awesome work as usual. Can I trouble you for the asset name of the "bridge support" you used under the tram stop by the beacon? I've searched the Workshop for hours with no luck. Thank you!
I really love the style of the newer, greener parts of the city. And the spiral thing in the roundabout is the prop you showed in the stream the other day. I like it where it's placed now. Definitely looking forward to more high density again next episode. But also Altengrad next week. I start to like it more and more now :)
you made the roundabout wrong, in current was to go cars can only turn right (go off on their first exit) EDIT thats why on the cinematcs cars were disappearing - couldnt find their way
“Translate to English” shows up below your comment even though it’s clearly already in English. It doesn’t translate it though, only makes your comment scream even louder. Even RUclips is excited
You should add the animated wave props to the beaches, I think that would look really good

The ocean wave props at the beach would totally bring them to life, they’d look amazing.
Add ancient ruins in an urban sort of open-air museum. Remains of an era long gone.

I've just started watching for like a week and I'm hooked to your videos.
Can't wait to see what this city becomes!!!
I haven't even watched the vid yet and I know it'll be good, I love this series Akuras

Amazing Build as Always Akruas
I continue to be in awe of your creations!!!

wow so great. Flying trains fit to this place too ^^
I think at 22:29 the mountain at the top right would be a nice park who people has a realy nice view over the town
Took so little to upload another one, amazing work as always

Babe wake up.
Asturis is back!

24:13 ooh, this shot tells me you need to turn on realistic parking! you can't have citizens getting out of their cars right before an intersection
Tack!
Thank you, appreciate the support.
Just went out of 5 hour boring surgery and saw this. Im happy again. Thank you
You should add a parking area because I saw in the cinematic how many people just despawned/ spawned their cars and started walking.
Thats just how the game works.
@@Akruas Yes I know, but in general there isn't any parking or parking garages anywhere, I was thinking of you to add some parking lots.
Thanks
That nighttime shot of the coastline looks 😚👌

Ive never clicked faster
Same ahahaha
Hi do you know how much playtime you have on cities skyline?
These episodes are like a drug for me
If that little tower at the end of the tram end-station is supposed to be some sort of laser guidance/communication system with the space elevator, then you should put a dish or laser emitter on it's roof.
I feel like you made some custom fountains around most of the larger business/residential courtyards that would really help
Beautiful, my dude!
You should build a roundabout for the tram around the tower by the water.
25:08 Coast line view 👌
Nice as always!
I enjoy watching your videos! Another great episode. I only miss some decals on the grass surfaces, that will differentiate them one from another a bit.
Very detalist, like always, I love it
surface painter CAN be used to remove ruining from sand btw ;) its that one painter brush that has a hole in the thumbnail.
no, if you paint sand under a network that has gravel texture and you paint the gravel away with "clip" option, it still shows ruined instead of sand
@@Akruas i see, yeah i beleive all ground networks with a mesh create ruining regardless. you may still use the clip painter on default gravel/pavement pedestrian paths and the sand will come back but thats probably not an option here.

how does everything akruas touches turn into literal gold, thi sis amazing
flying ships would be very cool
24:12 couldnt help but notice those cars disappear into the roundabout
Gold vid
It's so pretty!
Amazing!
can someone please tell me the name of the pedestrian overpass thing he uses at 13:01

Amazing 🤩
great video
Nice
Its a nice citi but its kinda dead. Streetcafes, food trucks, marketplaces or at least BINS would bring it to life.
Love it :)
i can't even image how much mods did you put there
Lets GO!!!!!
❤
Can you make a street running trains in Asturis?
very pretty
First to watch this fantastic film
You sound just like a RUclipsr I used to see called strictoster he was a very god player
Love from India 👌🏻💐🚩🇮🇳👍🏻😊❤😍🙏🏻
You should build a Royal palace, where the king/emperor lives.
🤗🤩😍

EDIT thats why on the cinematcs cars were disappearing - couldnt find their way
no, they need to use the inner lane to continue to other exits, cars do that at 24:55, they despawned because people want to go to those four towers

Hi Akruas, all your series are a piece of digital art. Is there a possibility of sharing your assets list?
I've asked him to just release his Loading Screen Report for his cities. Sadly, he has not done it.
