If he is still nowhere near his prime, could see him possibly become the second guy to ever run under 2 hours very soon and possibly push under the 1:57 with marathon domination as he reaches his prime over the next decade
Yes I agree but you also have Abeje Ayana - Nibret MELAK - Rhonex KIPRUTO - Berihu AREGAWI - Rodgers KWEMOI - Jacob KIPLIMO (of course) -Kibiwott KANDIE -Benard KIBET-Alexander Mutiso MUNYAO- and many others .... THIS FUTURE GENERATION IS VERY IMPRESSIVE
Thank you so much for you uploading buddy. What are your thoughts on Barega running a marathon in like 2026? Woth his swift form and very light built is made for marathon And if Kiptum keeps improving and stays injury free he might progress into the fastest marathoner ever. The only thing that concerns me is gis age 23. I hope he doesn’t blow up or get’s injuired. One thing is sure Kiptum has now the most pressure on his shoulder of all marathoners, he ran a 2:01:53 only kipchoge ran faster this year and Eliud is the greatest marathoner so we are used to him performing, Kiptum on the other hand only really was bareley in top 10 of half marathones in the world and now is at least the second best marathoner in the world. Plus the course Valencia is fast and the weather was perfect. The only two official marathons where I see anyone run a sub 2:02 is Berlin and Valencia so we must wait almost another full year to see him at least trying to duplicate his performance I eish him just the best
you got it 👍 I think Barega might possibly be a great road runner in the future if he makes the transition swiftly. I agree that Kiptum has pressure to perform in his next marathon since his first one was so fast. Hopefully he stays healthy
I dont think so Kelvin is very good but there are many more Kenyans awaiting his oportunity, un fact i think that Kandie an Ronnex could be the next great marathoners, take note tha Kandie debuted with an injured knee!! And Ronnex is very young. I think both could be great 2'01/2'02 marathoners
Interesting to see what kiptum can do in London this year
will be very interesting to see if he can live up to his incredible debut performance
He just won and with a course record 🎉
He did well
@@benmahinda8368 unbelievable performance at the 2023 London Marathon
@@daviskorir8864 very well 😅
His form like fast-walk but absolutely fast. Everyone has a suitable running form that is not copied by others 100%
I agree with you that everyone has their own running form. Could he run faster and closer to the world record in your opinion?
I see that too. He's young, energetic and seems determined👍
Kiptum seems very determined to become one of the best marathoners in this world
He'd have been the final marathon world record holder had we seen his prime
Kelvin has unique running style. I wish him shine again .
he sure does. Next race is the 2023 London Marathon

@@stevelau7694 after his London marathon performance I believe that could be possible with Kiptum
23 years old,I think he will get the record.
If he continues to progress he for sure will get it
He sure is the next world record holder
after the 2023 London marathon I think everyone is starting to believe he will be
he will kill it soon after this 2:01:25 today
Berlin 2023?
@@startrunstop possible, but he is humble saying he needs 2,3 more years. He respects Kipchoge
@@RaphaelIgrisianu in two or three years we might see him go after the sub 2 if he continues to progress
@@startrunstop God willing , he will... and hopefully without taking any substances

can't argue with that, we will have a lot of runners to watch in the upcoming years

The next great marathoner in the world is going to be Eliud Macharia in Jesus name. Amen.

If Kandie could transition his half marathon speed over to the marathon he will be dangerous. Same thing for Rhonex
Kiptum is younger than those athletes. The guy was was on December 1999(23years).
@@startrunstop i agree Kandie is great and i think that very soon he can get success in the transition
His style is like me but like 5 times faster 😆
haha love it 😅
If his running form as perfect as Kipchoge.. He will reach sub 2 hours..
a little more experience in the marathon too would give him the opportunities to do that
Noooo, he won't, kiplimo and Richard kimunyan are likely
Kiplimo could if he transitions to the marathon smoothly. Why do you think Richard could?
This guy ran on rain. The last time it rained Kipchoge finished eighth.😂😂😂
