I love to live in the barrack ! Thank you for the great adventure and seeing pieces of history ! Take care , stay safe and healthy out there ! Still doing well here in Kansas !
Awesome that's the first standing barracks ive seen since I been watching you guys .Another Outstanding expedition with all sorts of bunkers and storage tunnels. You and Eagle eye rock.
Yep, it must be SO much fun, traversing slippery, boulder-strewn staircases...but what awesome places to see! And a beautiful, complete barracks building! Thank you once again, Team HH, for showing us another spectacular feat of German engineering! Take care, guys!😊💖
Great day outside and loving the tought weather out there. Makes it just a little tad more difficult and that is just how we like it. Thanks Cynthia and greetings from us.
Well that's some amazing construction the Germans thought up. It never stops surprising me what y'all find on these adventures. Thanks so much for sharing! Take care. 💖💖
Must say that in my opinion your videos are so much more interesting and honest to watch than those on national geographic. Have been watching your channel for a couple of years and love the fact that it keeps on growing!
wow awesome find ,,i myself miss those time of going out with my sons they are now 30 and 33 so they have there own familys but that time spent with your children is very well spent time ,,,,thanks for this video again ,,,,,stay safe ....
Great location, Thank you and Eagle Eyes for taking us along on this great adventure. Cant wait for the next adventure. Stay safe and healthy my friend.
you guys find the most awesome locations!! i can't wait till the day you come across a previously undiscovered tunnel/bunker/cave/whatever that still has supplies and other artifacts in it! and the amount of work that went into building these structures will never cease to amaze me! let's not forget it's been 80 or so years since these were built..... manual labor all the way! thanks for sharing with us! :) Pete
Now that place would make a great cabin that could be a getaway. Go there and stay for a week or two. I definitely wouldn't use it for storage. Great video. I got my diorama a few days ago. I love the smell of the oil. It a lot better then the fieldpost. Thanks again for the diorama. Happy History Hunting.
That area has so any unique details and we will present more in the future for you to enjoy Mati. We also stumbled upon a " Eagles Nest " up there and that is truly special. Thanks and greetingd from us.
You are most welcome I really like Your Videos and I’ve been watching two or three a day and I will continue to watch them! Hope that You continue to make such nice finds and share them with Your viewers!
The barrack was impressive. Looks like it had a clay tile roof. I have always wondered how they were able to use so much concrete. How did they supply the ingredients for the concrete, mix them, and finally use them in such remote locations.
Hallo History Hunter What a great Video And again you Show places that we as you audience never discover It is a pleasure to follow you and eagle eye on your adventure Thanks for this Have a good week All the best Yours Frank
What an amazingly curious set up. Would love to find the original plans for these out of the way places. So would love to know what they were up to in such a wild and windy place. Thank you my friends for bringing these oddities to our screens. Always gets the imagination running. Cheers, and Stay Safe everyone.
Mind boggling effort up a mountain but better fire support having the higher ground. And being tucked away from the elements must have helped morale 👍🏼🇬🇬
Just think, in a few short years, history hunter junior will be making the videos for you to watch. You have a very bright young man, a chip off the old block as they say here in the states. It's not so much the videos but you and your interaction with your family. It reminds me of the days when I was a young man with a family. Thanks for sharing your life with us old people.👍
What a fantastic little adventure. Imagine looking at a reconnaissance photo and wondering what that square hole is. Then go to the location finding the hole plus much more. As with some of the other locations it only leads to questions. Why is it there? You should have looked behind the bricks. May have found some more wine bottles or a complete plate. Nice to see a barrack still standing. Am sure the area has more to give up.
There is also some spalling, shown by roundish light coloured marks, on the rock overhanging the entrance above the concrete hardpoint with the firing port.
Great video! But for everyone blown away by tunnels.. you know miners have done this for centuries, right? It's even done the same way as a mine with stacked rock walls (gobbing) and for sure they would have used ore carts a tram and rails to move rock. Only it was all waste, where with mining you have to seperate the ore from the waste rock. Keep the kick-ass videos coming!
I love hangin with my new friends! Awesome channel! Learn so much! Thank you. Btw, what does Holy cadolie mean? Haaa you crack me up. Love accent. One reason why I watch. So cool
@@genes.3285 Don't think so. Mostly this part of the atlantic wall never saw any ground attacks. (Depending on how far north it is positioned) The Germans surrended without fight the 8'th of May.
Notice when sufficient wall thickness is available, the shutters will have stepped holes they're mounted in. The idea is a near hit won't be channeled into the shutter opening by the rim. I notice a lot of damaged brickwork. Do you think it was damaged deliberately, or just falling apart due to age?
The Germans utilized nature for so many positions I wonder how many have yet to be found. Incredible! Fantastic find.
My thoughts exactly
Amazing how these can still be found, and it's crazy to think how many still haven't been found. Much love for your videos from Finland! 🇫🇮

Thanks for visiting
I noticed that the wall around the shutter is marked by lots of bullet impact holes.
The Germans manning this location likely ended up KIA.
@@genes.3285 Don't think so. Mostly this part of the atlantic wall never saw any ground attacks. (Depending on how far north it is positioned) The Germans surrended without fight the 8'th of May.
Yes it actually took some fire :)
@@WW2HistoryHunter Far up north then?
I really enjoy watching your videos
Glad you like them!
Wow
Just found this one ..amazing stuff
Glad you like it!
It is a beautiful day.
Yes, things could hide well in the mountains.
yes Oma , very interesting location it is. Greetings from us.
Once again another great video. You need a tv show. Discovery channel. Very informative and enjoyable. Do you ever show your face on video?
Not yet!
Ive been waiting since the last episode to see what they found Eagle eye found something and they were going to show it in this video
There re lots of videos coming where we do great finds so just look out for that :) Thanks
Using natural places like that made them very hard to spot as well. Also a very strong defensive position.
Thanks for watching.

I notice a lot of damaged brickwork. Do you think it was damaged deliberately, or just falling apart due to age?
The brick could have come down as a result of a hit outside perhaps , who knows. Thanks for wathing.
Absolutely awesome
Thanks Marc
Extremely cool...great find.
Glad you enjoyed it
Wow loved this one 💜💜💜👍👍
Appreciated Wendy and greetings from us.
