Jax Burger at Botany Junction is the ultimate. Kinda out of the way if you don’t live out East though. Good video. Will try Fat Puku.

BKs Ghost Pepper Chicken burger was above average while it was available.
But my all time favorite was Hamburger Heaven on Ponsonby Rd. But you would have to time travel back to the early 80s to have one of their super massive burgers. Uncles burger weren't half bad either along with an Adriatic's thick shake!

Yup they all good really. I mostly focussed on places over 4 star on google. And threw in some well known places aswell to see how they rank against the best
I tried Wahlburger in Boston in 2015,and again in NYC a year later,both times,I was fully impressed,helped that they had Samuel Adams on tap. If you go out to the Papakura/Drury border,there is a Caravan out there making amazing Cheese burgers. If you ever come to Perth,I will take you to THE best Burgers in Perth, Coolio taught these guys how to make US style burgers. Post Malone ,Jack Harlow,and EazyEs son have tried them. Eazys son has asked them to open a shop in Compton, seriously good burgers. Compton Burgers in Perth if you want to check them out.
Man its a shame to hear you haven't had a good experience at that Better Burger. My bf and I went to that same place around the time this video came out, and the burgers were really good. The music really needed to be turned down though haha
This was so good! Defs gonna check out some of these places!! Would recommend the better burger strawberry shake (if it’s still the same lol) I know we’re talking about burgers though so chicken burger reviews next 👀😂
Bro I agree!! after having burgers in the US like from In n' Out you feel like a lot of burger places here need to up their game. Nothing fancy either like making the burger massive you can't bite it, or adding too many 'fancy' ingredients. Just stick to the basics and knock it out of the park.
Fat puku and Wahlburger look's great, will have to give it a try.
Missed out Ziggle mate, they keep it simple, cheap and very authentic. moist soft brioche buns, authentic burger sauce and patties with a nice crust. It was criminal to have whalburgers up that high

Remember.white lady food truck at the end of queen st after a night on the Town. The best steak and normal burgers with chips Brings back memories 1986.White lady are the best burgers in auckland. Real good street food.
Burgers are so subjective, for me burgers the patty is the star , when burger shops start making fancy burger brioche, mango pineapple kiwi lychee, crazy sauces, fried onion rings, 5 slices of cheddar , blue cheese and Brie , it loses completely it purpose of how something so simple can taste so good. Great video btw 👏

I'm making me first trip to Auckland in a year next week, and am looking forward to trying a few of these I haven't done before, and will absolutely get a White lady as always.
Disappointed to hear about Betta Burger. Used to go there 10 years ago and thought they were amazing.

Was so happy the white lady popped out to kumeu for a few days. Was def the spot on Queenstreet in the 80s. That was my treat mum would get me after taking me to church at st patricks on sunday 😅 lol.

BurgerFuel quality is very store and time dependent. Customs St and Parnell Rd stores put out some of the best product. Best to option eating in and hit them out side of peak rush times

If you are going to rate Beef burgers surely better to rate something like a standard cheese burger or close to that across them all as so many different factors play in with all different combinations
Nice video thanks for the content, therss some good looking bugers and some not so good burgers too, as someone who's in the hospitality industry will say this, aioli was in NZ and has been used vastly in NZ for many many years before bugerfuel was even thought of that's is a fact.
Yes you are right! What I should have said is they helped popularize it! The kumera fries with Aioli introduced the flavour to many new customers.
Correct me if I'm wrong but to my knowledge, there wasnt many or any other fast food chains in Australasia that served Aioli with chips?

Hmm only 14 tested! In Auckland central? You may wanna test more please. Maybe have some other testers with you that have deep wallets and try some suburb's. I will try your winner when next in town. Not sure when that will be But will comment when I do.

I was their first customer in 1995 but...Burgerfuel fell off after franchising. Aoli soaked rubbish with poor ingredients. #EDIT - OMG you just said exactly the same thing. But they haven't dropped off a little bit, they dropped off a cliff.
