I'm Team "Double American Muscle". I've never even tried anything else off the menu. And yes - you're right - EVERYTHING is expensive in New Zealand once you leave the house. Don't get me started on Hoyts.
All American burger is the bomb need to try 💯
Highly recommend Burger Wisconsin for a one time try if you have one around you as well, same deal as burger fuel, really good burgers (in my opinion) but a bit pricey.
That kids face on the right gave me a fright. 😂. Thought someone was peering into the car.
burger fuel has one store in indianappolis USA & Dubai?
I couldn't confirm as I'm not sure, all I know is Burger Fuel started in New Zealand.
When you said "iconic spot" I thought you meant somewhere in Wellington like Mt Victoria, which was used to shoot the Hobbits hiding from the ring wraiths in Lord of the Rings...but yeah a car park with a K-Mart in the background is definitely up there as far as iconic spots go! lol
You should try teak neighborhood grill next!
I went to America ... I understand how much yous love that crispy bacon LMAO thats why I understood instantly when you said "floppy bacon" haha. Crispy to dry for me but maybe thats the kiwi in me talking haha
You should try the traditional Australian burger: beef pattie, lettuce, sliced beetroot, bread & butter pickle, pineapple, fried egg, bacon, cheese, sauce to taste (ketchup or BBQ, or hot) none of that fancy sauce “aolii” isn’t that a musical?
The meat in the burgers is really good. Their C n Cheese burgers are my favourite and one of their cheaper ones.
100% agree on the ridiculous prices, it must be a shock to anyone from overseas.
How much longer will you be in nz? Have you tried NZ sausages yet lol. There's one place that I felt has almost got American pepperoni pizza just right, and that's Sal's pizza. I'm still catching up with your other nz videos.
if your ever in New Plymouth NZ get the chicken burger from Rumpties (its a Fish and chip place )
Price is OK for excellent burgers
I think the prices match what I would consider average for a Burger specialist outfit like burger fuel. Burger Culture in Nelson has steadily risen its prices and their burgers have reduced in size over the past few years. You got good quality there. 👌
Next time you need to try the bacon bbq roadster
Try Velvet Burger in Christchurch or Dunedin, South Island on a Tuesday. You can buy 1 get 1 free and their burgers are amazing & big
Good night 💤 from New Zealand 🇳🇿
The best burgers in nz were made in the 80 and 90''s by independent burger bars usually owned by Yugoslaves in Auckland
A fairer comparison than Burger King or Maccas would be getting a burger from the corner Fish & Chip shop, especially one that does "gourmet" burgers. Even most Chinese places do a pretty decent burger.
Ive been to Burger Fuel twice, both times I got a Bastard burger drink & chips absolutely the best burger out there, but yeah, way expensive not somewhere I would go alot. Im kinda glad its so expensive cause Id live there. 😂😂😂
Nooooo I LOVE the jaffa shake! 😢 The price, not so much, though.
That aioli is 🔥
If you ever go to Auckland there’s a place called sneaky snacky and it will NOT disappoint I promise.
Mmmm I love burgerfuel I can just imagine the taste mmmm 😋 making me hungry lol
If you come to Australia maybe the prices wouldn't be as expensive but that depends on the outlet you try.
Give ReBurger a try - super-good!
