I love that this version still have the lullaby feeling from the original yet in a happy tone. I was obsessed with this version when I listened for the first time because is so well done that you can't just be happy listening! I'm loving that you are experiencing the game in a full tone.

I love this version, even more than the original Flow, and I never see anyone react to it haha. I'm glad you checked this version out!

I'm not really one to harp on spoilers (plus, "musical spoilers" arent really a thing unless there's lyrics), but one thing you may want to keep in mind is that hearing a track for the first time during that in-game moment is part of the experience.
I say that from personal experience. When a big moment happens and its accompanied by a heavy track, the moment can be lessened by your subconscious mind saying, "Hey, I've heard that before". It could potentially make the moment lose some of its bite. Also, you could miss out on the possible surprise catJam moment.
    Food for thought.

It is a fair point for sure. In my case hearing the music is just enhancing my desire to reach those story points even further. I was actually so pumped from hearing this that I hopped online and started playing right after :) Really appreciate your continued support. :)

That's a fair point, although if they're not hearing it constantly and repeatedly it might still feel fresh by the time they get there. They are QUITE a ways off from Endwalker after all.
Also FFXIV's frequent use of common motifs I think helps it use "I've heard this before" to its advantage.

Musical spoilers are absolutely a spoiler if you know how to interpret music.

I finished Endwalker but haven't gotten to the part where "Scream" plays but i heard it on RUclips and that song slaps. I'm very excited to reach that raid!

If you enjoy flow you might also enjoy "The Ewer Brimmeth" which is a city theme with hints of flow inside it :)

Flow is one of two really emotionally meaningful songs from Endwalker, the other is Close in the Distance -- BUT, they save that song until near almost the very end, so... as much as I think you'd like it, especially how it's done as you progress... I think it will be much more impactful if you get to experience it within the story. And the meaning of the lyrics will really come through. Another cool thing, is, Endwalker, at one point, makes use of every final boss music of each expansion(2.0, 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0), as well as throwing some other... uhm.. I believe the word was 'Leitmotif' in? Another music person I watched talking about FF14 music, who has played it, talked about how Soken loves Leitmotifs. I guess like how I mentioned before that your theme(from Maker's Ruin), as the protagonist, is mixed in with so many other pieces. 'Duuuun, duna duuun dun dun, duun duun dunaaaa~'

There is another song from Endwalker that I think you will really like. It's called Close in the Distance. For a more rockin song I would suggest Oblivion. It's from Heavensward but please don't watch the video. It definitely would have a major spoiler. :)

I'm glad you didn't actually pay attention to the boss fight lol. I highly recommend trying to avoid anything related to Endwalker, or even Shadowbringers, due to major plot twists and revelations/character revelations, etc. But if you can manage it without spoiling yourself, it's cool, lol. Just be VERY careful lol spoilers are everywhere
