Every time I cried during FFXIV: Endwalker (Compilation)

Thank you for taking the time to watch my Endwalker Compilation Video. Some have been asking to see my reactions to this so I wanted to start with my most emotional ones. Stay tuned for more MSQ reaction content.

Yeah, definitely easy to cry in FF14's MSQ because the characters, whether they are protagonists or antagonists, are easily relatable.
The protagonists you've been with since nearly the beginning to this point. You've seen them at their lowest and their highest points. You've had lunch and dinner with them, drank with them, and even camped with some of them. You, the player, have grown and developed along with them. If you the player (in real life) say that you're still the same person you are before you started playing this game (and paying to the MSQ) after going through 6.0, I'd call you a liar. XD
The MSQ villains in this game are not 'evil' because they want to be. They have their own ambitions, goals, and their reasons for doing so are easily relatable - you can understand them. They truly fought for what they believed in. There's only 1 or 2 bad guys that come to mind that are just evil and demented. One coming from Stormblood and the other Shadowbringers. (And Zenos isn't one of them XD.)
As the Resistance Delegate said in the first scene... "It's the little things..."
The Music, the camera angles, script, the voice acting, the facial expressions and small movements when put together just create wonderful scenes.
For example: the confrontation with Meteion - look at her facial expression, most notably her eyes, after the flowers bloom and before she remembers her time with her creator.
Another Example: Urianger hesitating on hugging Moen's mom (which the camera focuses on roughly 3 different times in that one scene).
Last Example: Fourchenault being a father while kneeling, revealing his motive to his children (because remember when we first met him in Shadowbringers, lol).
It's like the writers know how to make us hate/like a character, understand them, and then empathize with them all within a single expansion or across many. It doesn't matter. It's scary how they can play us like a fiddle. =) But to be honest, I love it.

The soup scene got me. It's amazing what basic human kindness means to people who doubt it even exists, anymore.😢
True, jullus has been holding that tear for so long, losing all his family, but he has to be strong for the nation he love, those kindness will struck greatly
FFXIV has a way of really pulling you into the story. Getting to this point, you're so invested in the story and the characters you have come to know almost as if they were truly real people.. It's like magic. You laugh, cry, get angry, and experience joy right along with the characters and it just feels so genuine and real. The only piece of media I can liken it to is that of One Piece. An experience that I will remember for the rest of my life and one I look forward to continuing for years to come. Thank you for the video! I enjoyed watching!

Endwalker really for a fantasy game grabbed your heart by being so human a story. It’s a story abt a dad focused on saving his sons, on a loving mother that never abandoned us, on two friends that never forgot us, or on a daughter that only wanted her father to get the answer he wished for
The Urianger scene was the only moment of Endwalker that made me cry - but I cried like a baby 😀
oh my goodness I watched this at work and its basically every moment was the same moments that made me cry, I had to wipe my tears when my boss walked in. I love how progressively through the video its like, a little tear, and then lots of crying as you get further invested in the story! they really got us with this expansion!! and they also make us look a little crazy when we're crying, then laughing, and crying again. it was definitely an emotional rollercoaster to play through. also I guess the youtube algorithm brought this to me on my recommended :P

Shadowbringers made me cry but Endwalker made me sob, both expansions were so so good

Crazy to think for FF14 1.0 and even early ARR I cast this aside. ARR was an improvement on 1.0 without a doubt but I found the early stages such a slog but I am so soooo glad I gave the game another shot. Truly worth it and seeing others like yourself resonate and enjoy this experience allows me to relive it again and again lol .... I was surprised to see no section for 'the walk' you did well if you didn't break there :P

Endwalker was one of the only games that had me crying, I’m not one to show emotions often. I was even spoiled about the scions deaths and that they would be brought back but the speeches they gave were so heartfelt that I cried
actually crying with you even if I know all of these scenes, so powerfull
I got emotional around Shadowbringers but 5.3 patch had me ugly crying. And since then, they've just been banging out tearful moments again and again since xD I cried on all these moments too. Def here to cry with you
I just reached Bonds of Adamant(ite) and cried so hard. I was thinking “god damn it EW stop making me cry tears of joy. So I searched for EW cry and here I am. Now I see the timestamp and realize I have a lot left to see. I’ll be back to watch the rest, probably after a lot of tears. See you soon.

For me this is the best expansion since Heavensward. Both have amazing stories and areas, tough to pick which is better

then, this game, especially the last expansion, made me cry so hard and made me think about my life...

@@ShanaAbee Venat was a no name boring character to me the whole expansion. As well as Hermes, Hythlodeus, Hades, derpy bird, blue garlean and so on and so forth.

I absolutely did not like Shadowbringers, and I just couldn’t understand why so many players put it on a pedestal. Especially seeing them complain about the “underwhelming” story of Endwalker. I loved Endwalker and it completely hit me the way I expected Shadowbringers would. Seeing Urianger finally meet Moen’s parents waylaid me like a ton of bricks, even though I hadn’t seen her in years. I have to say, where there was never a moment where I had any attachment to anything or anyone in the First, I am already totally invested in the Thirteenth, and I really hope we get a full expansion to go there and help them
