You need money. Here's my method: Buy wrecked cars, and part them out. Sell all the parts and then the car. Keep doing this and you can build up lots of money quickly. If you get the turbo DLC you can do both supercharged and turbocharged on the same engine.
Edit: I did this on hard by the way.

Oh yea, you can mix and match parts too. Also the bottom left in the magazine for parts lets you refresh the parts and cars for sale for $2
You can use any part except lights and body part, exhausts too. You can use all suspension on any cars, diffs, gearboxes, radiators, intercoolers, all of that are intercompatable.

Most parts are interchangeable. It will take time to learn what fits and what doesn't. Most cars have several engines that fit into them. If you travel down the road to the shop you can buy performance race parts. They're very expensive though. (You will also need enough space to transport the parts, it's good to have a truck for doing delivery type stuff)
You can make an engine that is both supercharged and turbocharged (both at the same time)
It's a good idea to repair every part in your car after a few races. This keeps the repair cost low and can help avoid having to replace parts.
A good way to make money is buying cheap wrecks and fixing them, however this takes a lot of trial and error to find what is worth buying and what isn't.
Most of the trucks can be fitted with a tow hook and you can drive around towing peoples cars to the mechanics for money (not very much though, but it is fun). You can also find wrecks and town them back to rebuild (maybe they changed this with the recent update? Take that with a grain of salt.)
You can use any dash and any gauge in any car. You can also use any steering wheel.
The fastest way to make money is by grinding races. It's a risk having to put up some cash, but once you've got a car that wins, it'll pretty much always win that race.
Some of the later races have very long straights and have lots of laps. You'll need a car that can handle being driven hard for a long time.
There's lots of different zones. They all have their own sets of races. There's all sorts. Dirt racing, tarmac racing, drag racing, you can also challenge people on the street to races. There's also pink slip races and mountain races.
Be careful in the panel beating section of the menu. It can be very costly if you accidentally press the fix button when you didn't mean to (some care can be upwards of 10k to panel beat).
The newspaper refreshes every 2mins. It can take a while to find the parts you're looking for.
You can make custom storage boxes in the storage menu. This is great for sorting parts once you start to get a lot.
If you change spark plugs, timing belts, or ignition, make sure you re-tune the timing.
Cooling becomes an issue once you start getting into more powerful engines. You probably won't have to worry about this for a while. Mixing and matching radiators and intercoolers for perfect airflow and cooling is pretty easy anyway.
There's probably heaps more that I'm missing but you'll discover it as you play. It gets very...addicting...

@@zzzires5045 Chuck a bara in the ute mate XD The staged pipe is for twin turbo setups. It offsets the spool so you don't get mega turbo lag.
@SSZaris it's ment to but I can't fit it to anything? Where's it ment to be fit?
@@zzzires5045 It really depends on the car and the engine. It's different for each. It goes in the induction area. So you may need to be in the menu for the turbo or the engine, or the intercooler, or the exhaust. I can't say without actually seeing it sorry.

It looked like there was a button to buy additional newspapers or magazines that could maybe offer different parts. Never played or heard of this game, just something I observed. Could be totally wrong. I've always loved racing games with progression since I grew up on midnight club and nfsu.
yes You saw right! :D when You buy the new paper the parts and cars change around so it is always worth it to buy a new one when part hunting

The third person chase camera gives me the old cruise the world game vibes. Loved playing the arcade version of that and watching my brother play the Nintendo version.

one method for getting money that I use in this game is buying used cars at 5k and below sometimes You will find some good parts to keep but otherwise I repair everything I can and sell the parts out, after that there are stores You can go too the one by the major race track sells the europa parts which are the best performance parts in the game :D

Once you make a crazy drag car the drags are killa money. I ended up selling 2 I won for slips of em and walking out with more than a million
100% do a series on this been watching this game go from early access to full release and while it's indie the game has a lot of good progression and actual depth. Graphics wise it looks like it was coded in the australian desert by a cocained up dropbear but that's quality for ya.

Hey kAN, I have some tips about this game:
1) you can buy junk cars, repair all parts in it, ecept Car itself, and sell all parts
2)For Best times on Backyard you need install in your Walea Sport/race suspension from SUV, I dont remeber its name, and 6 speed Sport gearbox from Panania. Maybe if you find in newspaper install Turbo kit or Supercharger for SV6, and install all Sport engine parts from Bathabang V8 on SV6
You Can install All parts from every Car on yours
There is 2 main shops to get new parts for instead of the newspaper. Roughly half the cars at each shop. Engines are branded for parts but are not specialized for any car. Explore the maps and find the shops to build ur car up more efficiently.
I enjoy this game. Tire pressure and different grade of parts make it fun to see what works for you.

Hey Kan, in all cars that are manual transmission that has 6 gears, 5th and 6th gear are usually the same, don't ask me why that is but it is and I don't know why.
Just so you all know, this game is currently on sale on Steam, until March 21st!!!
Depends on the RC controller. I know my old fixed wing RC controller had USB, and you could hook it up in "simulator" mode.
Even if it doesn't support it directly, most have a console port you can hook into.
I've seen people hook receivers up to their computer so they can use the RC remote controller, but I have now idea how they do it

The gear ratios are more important than the number of gears. For instance on my real life car it’s a 5 speed and the 6 speed version both have nearly same final ratio so the gears between are slightly different. The ratios determine acceleration vs top speed. You’d probably want a longer top gear to get a higher top speed but without power it will take a while to get there.

The walea ute is the lightest chassis make it awd and tune the body by buying thicker or thinner sway bars for front and back
"Buy Newspaper" at the bottom will refresh what's listed. And a number of parts will fit car models other than what they're listed as.
5:00 hey Kan in alot of older vehicles you didn't have to use the clutch noc it put of gear match the motor speed and transmission speed and boom right into gear it goes

Game gives fast & furious rides and to an RC car drifter this game must be great
VRC has an adapter to hook up an RC car remote. But i don’t know how many games would recognize it
The flysky Nb4 controller works great on PC . ive used it to play carx and beamng drive a few times

Turn on auto shifting. You can still shift the gears
For easy money, buy wrecked cars, gut them for parts, then fix the parts you can and sell them all individually. Don't bother fixing the shell, you don't earn more money for that. Also, some brand parts like the transmission and diff can be put on other vehicles.

hi kAN! most of the recent remote controller has USB joistick option, justplug it to you PC and it should be discovered as a normal joypad, in case it doesn't there is a freeware that convert most remote to joystick

Unfortunately it didn't look like you can swap out the rear diff. If you had a better final drive you would be able to go into 4th gear. It looks like that final drive is meant for economy and not any sort of sports car.
Also, it'd be cool to see you play Dirt Rally 1.0 or 2.0. Personally I like 1.0 better.

@@Bama_BoyHuh? You realize Nintendo wasn't the first console, right? Atari 260 came out in 1977. And consoles were not the only way to play games then, just as now. Surely you have heard of Space Invaders. 1977.
@@FUGP72 yes I'm not some young kid. Me and my brother still have our original Atari 2600. On very rare occasions we pull it out and play some space invaders and Pong.
My question was about racing games in that time. Maybe I just can't remember any, I just don't remember Odyssey or even Atari having very many racing games
@@FUGP72 we actually still have atleast 1 (we even have 2 of some consoles, for collecting, not for playing on) of every console that we ever owned growing up starting with the Atari 2600. Our family didn't really have the money for any of the previous consoles b4 the Atari 2600.
@@Bama_BoyYou were LUCKY to have the 2600. I had the stupid Bally Astrocade and the Odyssey II. Still have the Astrocade. Sold the Odyssey II a few years ago.

You remove the old oil filter, you buy a new oil filter, you install the new oil filter, and then add oil to your car.

@@PCgamestech a car building, customizing and racing game can be enjoyable to a broader range of players without HAVING to also be a simulator, which tends to be unplayable to those who are not super knowledgeable on the subject. It's about changing all of the car parts, customizing vehicles, and racing.
Not everything has to be a simulator. Being detailed targets simulator gamers, while not actually being a simulator targets all of the other car modification players.
