After giving 2 months of public signals, and tracking the 40% profit on my Twitter, a lot of traders asked do I trade ICT of SMC
I have my own style. Probably have some overlap with ICT. But I also trade SMC traps, so I’m often trading against SMC

@@The144SR reim was a WWA student, he didn’t teach me anything and I trade nothing like him with his LET and EDM and indicators trading and 20 trades per session.
I trade raw price action. Not a mix of BTMM and ICT like he does

Ali Khan's course was my introduction to ICT and I liked the way he presented everything succinctly.
Where does he teach
Absolutely love when Waqar breaks down partials. Maximizing the portfolio rather than the the individual trade is something that i've started to implement and honestly, it's been the best thing for my psychology. I use to try to hold as much volume as possible, BE so many times, then come into the next day very eager to "find" a win. Of course this instituted revenge trading behavior, and after a plethora of blown accounts will doing this, I will always partial! While borrowing but tweaking your method, I now use 3 TPs and take 1/3 off at each point. 1:3.5RR, Structure, and 1:10RR.
Wow, great episode. Ali is packed with knowledge, however he needs to learn to wait for people to finish what they want to say.

I never thought I'd be able to relate to any conversation by experienced traders in my life, when I started to learn about trading the methodologies sounded like a foreign language and studyng ICT methods was the most difficult thing ever and now I can proudly say I'm building while tweaking my own model.

Great point at 42:00. Understanding how you plan dovetails with your psychology, track it and adjust to optimize and improve your psychology. You account balance is more of a reflection of your psychology than anything else. Even ICT says the part of his trading he is least satisfied with is exits. I often find myself getting shaken off a trade just before it expands, of hits my TP. Still working on the flaws.
I loved the interview and the answers, I just wish Ali took a pause or a breath before answering the questions. We couldnt hear the questions properly. Nevertheless, love Waqar and Alex's composure. Very mature and very poised.

Out of all of the videos i have seen about ICT this is the first time (other than watching Arjo) that someone has said it's very difficult and will take time to understand. Genuinely makes me feel like I'm taking the right steps while trying to learn these concepts. They are extremely intricate (to me at least) and will take me SOME TIME to completely understand. This interview is very inciteful.

An an algorithm is step by step process to something m, there is an algorithm for basically anything because there is a step by step process to something. Some algorithms are just more detailed and complex than others.

I was very disturbed by that he wasn't even listening to the questions and constantly interrupting Waqar and not having him to finish his point.
I would suggest Ali khan to learn some class and know how to do a podcast.

Ali Khan, have mastered the algorithm trading. Waqim should understand that ICT teaches how the algorithm is booked within the big players. It's not easy to explain ICT because you will have your own models that suits your personal and different market conditions. It seems like Ali Khan studied everything from ICT unlike something who just studied 2022 would have explain ICT in few words. Alex and Waqim delivered good questions.
ICT can’t even show the said ‘algorithm’. If there was a so called ‘algorithm’ that he coded, he wouldn’t have blown so many accounts and faked results 🤣🤣

This is either a game of probabilities or an algorhythm that you and ICT understand to its highest level, which is it??? personally i believe it is an algorhythm at key high timeframe levels but it seems to me its an algorhythm when you get it right and probabilities when you get it wrong or not sure!!. And ICT was either involved in the making of the algorhythm or given the insight by god according to himself, which one is it ?????? No wait i'm going to say it "utter rubbish", not the interview it was most entertaining, like Ali says he can read the chart, i can read BS when i hear it.
I never met ICT but what l heard from all his videos is that there was a point and time when he was not successful in trading and it came to his senses as he is a computer programmer that an AI is running the program thus we're he started looking on the chart studying and what he saw was amazing revelation

As someone who has come into the modern refined SMC, and gone back to the basics with ICT, this podcast in itself shows me a phenomenon where new traders are completely unaware where it all came from. It's truly sad how only 10% are going to understand what Ali is saying here, you have to undergoe some exposure to ICT himself to understand this. I talk about silver bullet (even though i don't use it) as it's running on EU for example on discord but in servers with thousands no one understands what i'm saying. It's sad and i'm happy Michael said he doesn't give this much thought otherwise i'd be trying to email him saying people don't care what you've taught the world.
If there is an algorithm why do ICT traders have a 50% winrate...
because some of them have weak trading psychology.

For those who are confused it's simple: when there is no one willing to buy or sell, these algos take that responsibility in the form of these price signatures.
No, they take responsibility all of the time; even if it's something as simple as cutting the bid or ask resting orders at peak hours to steer price in their chosen direction, like taking a log out from a stream to allow the water to flow unimpeded. And its AN AIgo. Not plural.

But this one was the worst so far, Ali repeatedly talking over you Waqar, Alex seems uninterested or bored by the conversation.
Not letting each other speak, never noticed that in any other podcast so far.

I agree it was very hard to understand or fully comprehend Waqar's questions, because there were so so so many interruptions. I was trying to understand the question before the answer popped up, but it was very difficult to hear the interviewer's questions before getting interrupted again.

Imbalance and liquidity run is all you need to understand in the market. If you understand those key elements, I promise, your trading will dramatically change. Time and price, nothing else. Also, learn Quarterly Theory. Yes, you can learn many concepts but you don't have to know all of it. Just three trading styles is all you need. ICT is a beast and change my life.
