Paper trading is good for learning your platform of it's new. It's also good for forward testing mechanical strategy when you have no data to go on.. it will give you the confidence needed to let your trades play out in live markets.. you're not going to learn a strategy and the hop into the live market without any data.. you wouldn't buy a dirt bike and learn to run it on a mx track... Paper trading is not a scam. Paper trading allows you to literally focus on your plan. When you live trade you move your focus from the strategy to the money. In artillery before we fire any rounds we do dry fire missions. We go through the crew drills with no ammo to ensure we know every step. "OH that's different" no it's not. Focus on precision, for those that say "no you'll always think about the money" that's your belief and because you continue to hold on to that belief you will always think about the money.

I started with support and resistance. To just be inconsistent and wondered why .Fundamentals are first, then technicals are your entry/exits points. Sure you can make millions with support and resistance, but one day ppl miss a news event or a sudden switch in market sentiment because of GBP, inflation etc, and support and resistance won’t hold anything lol And then I see people blowing a few accounts like that. You sure can be profitable, but to have that fundamental analysis in your right pocket will tremendously up that winrate and consistency. Then trade supply and demand. That’s just my point of view, at the end of the day ppl do whatever they want. Scalping or first 5 mins on the stock market open also work wonders for some ppl. So you do you!
