Equally compelling and difficult… this piece challenges the wind ensemble in so many different ways, both individually and as a group…forcing them to both master their own instruments, pay attention to their intonation, and also become one with the ensemble and LISTEN to one another… all of which are crucial components as a musician grows. Composer did an excellent job here blending all different aspects of emotions, mood, and feelings… well done!!!! Would have loved to try playing this in high school or college ensemble!!
