Actually if you click on stats for nerts you'll see YT normalized the video by -8db. So it doesn't matter how loud you master the track.

I think this library is more suited to film/trailer music, not so much to the finesse of classical. But, good programming! 😉

What I discovered is that when you layer Cinematic Studio Strings with Pacific, CSS really makes the dynamics more noticable and makes ff sections more powerful, while pacific gives that rich and thick orchestral string sound with a nice, warm feel to it. I've been layering them a lot lately and I'm liking the results so far.

Had this version on an album called Mad About Piano when I was a kid. When I finally got a hold of the sheet music I was bummed that this wasn’t written out, but I eventually just copied his version! Brought a whole new life to the B section

It's sounding splendid! The climatic swell, the dynamics in the template was great. Bagpipes could be pushed back and more verb/space, certain notes definitely hit hard and upfront like the "E" 1:15-1:16ish you can hear it pierce. Not sure if you were focusing on mixing the bagpipes per the title of your video, but thought I mention it as it was sticking out. Cheers!

That solo horn sounds terrible. Stick to real sampled instruments and not modeled ones if you can't properly craft a convincing performance.
