The itch to stitch jeans are my favorite too! I also love her Belize shorts pattern. They are a pull on short and I have a pair in Tencel twill that are so lightweight and comfy. I think a linen rayon would be nice too. I have thought about making those into pants for a flowy wider leg pant. I am a sucker for polka dots too. Lovely makes!!
I just downloaded the shorts pattern! I have liked every Itch to Stich I've tried. They are very thoughtfully made! Tencel would be so soft and light to wear. Now I need to find some. 🧵
👋Nice to hear you're from Oklahoma too! I enjoyed your video. I'm always interested in seeing what patterns people love. I'll definitely check out the garden apron! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I love to see what eveyone is sewing too. I recommend extending the apron strings unless you are tiny. They were so short but the apron was quite roomy.
thanks! I have the itch to stitch jean pattern and the material but haven't made them yet--maybe I'll get to it now that I hear how much you like the pattern.
I hope you do! I am adapting it for shorts night now. Make sure you use a stretch denim. It is designed for it and makes all the difference. I feel like I didn't make that point enough in the video. 🧵
I have not made shorts in quite a while. I did alter the Itch to Stitch Mountain View Jean. I love the fit and I want to make it in a short and a capri. It is meant for a stretch denim. I have a few patterns for shorts but haven't tried them out yet. I have the video up on my channel if you are curious about the pattern. It would be easy to make into shorts.
@@stacyrobbins ho Stacy. Thanks for the quick reply. I have not watching your jeans video but I will today. I am about your same shape except I am 5'8 so I like a longer shorts with room near the knees. I find large prints not flattering for me in particularly. I too am a longtime sewist. My sewing room is my very happy place which is also upstairs 😁
I'm so glad you asked! I just checked and I just need to check a few boxes. So hopefully the link will work for you. It may take a few hours. Thank you!
Thank you for wandering around and sharing your love of the outdoors. Even though I live in Maine, Utah makes me super happy.
Excellent video. Really enjoyed watching and loved the pattern recommendations.
Thank you! I always like to know what others are sewing too. 😄
I love this video, very interesting to watch!
Thank you! 🧵

@@stacyrobbins thank you! I've checked out some of your videos and I really like your sewing area set up. I've been inspired to rearrange mine now 😄
Line diagrams would really help !
Have you made the perfect plus size shorts? Not to tight, not to short in length, stretch fabric and slimming looking? That's a lot of wants lol

It is a great one! So many design options.

Yes, I have had a few mention it. I will do that next time!
Is there a way to buy from Amazon in Canada and have it linked as recommended by you to get the referral fee to you?
I'm so glad you asked! I just checked and I just need to check a few boxes. So hopefully the link will work for you. It may take a few hours. Thank you!
@@stacyrobbins thank you for doing that.
The pattern pictures are too small
Yup, number one critique. Next go I will give the pattern pics more attention.
