After a faulty Oppo Reno4 Z I returned it to Argos and picked up a Motorola G30 which was awful and faulty. Returned that and picked up the Oppo A74 and what a phone. They make such good phones (settings is awful I agree).
This is the phone I will get, or the even cheaper one. I do not like spending money on phones. I prefer electric guitar stuff, but my old phone is getting OAP geriatric now. I have to wiggle the USB cord to trick it into turning on, because the on switch is knackered. I'll get it after I get my corona shot, because then I will be protected from 5G. :D P.S. The other thing I liked spending money on was building PCs. Then it stated getting a bit pricey, so I went for upper mid range parts instead of bleeding edge, throw money in a hole in the ground stuff. This year GPU prices have gone berserk. Could buy a used car for the price of some GPUs. There is no game in the world I want to play badly enough to pay that kind of money. Not unless they do not screw up the next Elder Scrolls and it is awesome. However, I was a kid when the first Pacman machines appeared and Commodore 64s were new, while we learned BBC Basic programming on Acorn computers at my school in Milton Keynes (I am in NZ now). If MS Bethedsa do not hurry up my bucket day might arrive before TES 6.
I'm curious. Are you seeing much 5G coverage in your area? In the few areas around me the only 5G towers have swapped in 5G instead of 3G modules to make space, so it may actually reduce other coverage on those towers.
I've got surprisingly good coverage around here now, was barren for a while. Still seems quite patchy on the network maps though. I'll be interested to see how much 5G action I get when I start moving about again...

In many ways it seems similar in specs to that phone but way more expensive here. Another comparison, the Realme 8 5G, is also similarly specced (??? Does that look right to you guys ???) and cheaper. 2 branches of the same group competing for the same market but needing to differentiate in price. For me this is not a contender. @Петар Милошевић thanks, there's not much in the price, and I think oppo has the better reputation. Having said that weirdly the realme 8 5g seems to have worse specs than the realme 7 5g which can be bought for a good price. There's just too many phones out there to choose from now!!
RUclips has an agreement with the mainstream media companies to strangle youtubers. The big companies are spending millions on creating content that nobody wants to watch whereas RUclipsrs are killing it with small budgets. RUclips seriously needs to get a real competitor and just die.
Oppo somewhat fell off the budget market. Still have my F5 youth from 2017 and boy it did not even get android 8. Can't even root it, there's little to no resources because this phone is somewhat too secure, it does not even let me use developer mode without that yellow status bar thing and it's annoying.
I gotta say the case really saved me from so many falls, BUT, This phone I would not recommend, I've never had a phone that lags and crashes as much as this one! I've closed done apps, Full stopped the apps, restart my phone, Turn phone off, Put it on gamer mode, Off gamer mode, High power for battery, clean it out with their oppo app that's meant to improve the performance.. it's just an ass phone after awhile, The camera is ass most days, The 90hz is good, The battery is top tier.

Why is the Chip lower than My a72 sadly most phone are getting crap these days I've had probably with every single phone I've had in last 5 yrs. My Samsung S3 was a great phone never had a problem until my ex stole the bloody thing never seen it again.
