An OPPO A78 user here. Im being honest, everything what he said is true & accurate. You also get 4 years of software update or "48 month fluency protection" based on official website. With minimal use, it's possible to achieve 3 days of battery life on single charge. The ui is so clean, customisation is insane and have a simple design while not appear boring. For approximately $190, this phone is extremely worth the price considering the specs is quite great
Really considering this phone, the ppi(pixels per inch seems pretty low at 269. Do you notice pixels or non-sharp display? Amoled and all is great but that pixel density is throwing me off
Can't wait for you to compare this to other OPPO phones! I.e. the A78 5g, completely different from this, but same price category. Or i.e. the A98 5g, which has almost everything better, but the screen is lcd. Thank you for the review and hope you will give us more (OPPO) smartphone content! :D

The only negative thing is the camera. From closee up, the photos are good, but to tak photos from distance, not so good! And the phone has a compact size: not big, not too small!

Considering that oneplus and realme had their fair share of early burn ins and permanent vertical lines led me to think that it might not be the best purchase and looking from both ips and amoled fhd with 400 ppi , besides deep blacks in the dark, difference is barely noticeable in a well lit environment.

I’ve had oppo for a couple years and it’s the best but just broke mine and my friend gave me her old iPhone 14 & I hate it 😅 it’s worth $700 & I feel like this $300 oppo would be better
Hello bro! Do you know if the phone case comes or depends on the region? I have seen videos of some with either no case or plastic case. Considering nowdays it's around 170 dollars it's definitely worth it and been interested on it for a long time, do you think it's worth it?
I think I’m ditching my iPhone for this device. iPhones are just so expensive (for me, anyway). Likewise for the fancy Samsung Galaxy phones (And their UI, is so funky). These Chinese brands are doing very interesting things. So far, Oppo, is my favorite.
I think the phone is too expensive for its price, maybe it's me or cos it's an oppo phone, excluding the 67 watts fast charging and RUclips premium, if you look at its other specs e.g processor and camera, I think it should go for around 130,000 to 140,000 naira
Just bought my first oppo phone. I am struggling with some of the set up and a few things I find annoying eg the floating round bubble which gives options for shortcuts. It seems to be always in the way of my typing. Also, the phone switches off at night. What happens if I need to make an emergency call. The screen is black. Still tying to trouble shoot.
Well you need to spend more to get more performance. But yes even a 600 or 700 dollar phone can do what 1000+ dollar phone do nowadays. Look at xiaomi 14, OnePlus 12, Samsung s24, and even iphone 15. And don't worry about software support, all that I mentioned is support up to 4 years of software support
