Every evening I set up food/water bowls, spoon, & a measuring cup in preparation for making my newly little adopted dog's breakfast on the following morning. I also set up my own tea cup, spoon, honey jar, tea bag & I also fill up the teapot with water the night before as well 🥱😊.
"walk around the grocery store without the kids" ... Don't threaten me with a good time. LOL My husband and I have done this as well before. It's a whole different world shopping without the twins in tow. :)
You have one of the sweetest smiles ever....especially when you chuckle, your face just lights up. Your videos are lovely to watch and I look forward to your next upload.
Clean kitchen, straighten up living room turn on one load of washing, warm shower and sit down with my husband are my absolute every night time routine must haves ❤
Chana, I absolutely love that green scarf on you. It really brings out your eyes and skin tone. So beautiful! I've been trying to stretch before I get into bed lately. It helps to relax my body and I've noticed a difference in how my body feels in the morning. I've also always laid out my clothes for the next day. I don't feel complete until I do that last step.
I watch a movie to help me unwind at night. I do read. I keep my books on my nightstand.I lay out my clothes for the next day.I take a shower at night. It helps me to unwind, and it helps me with my joint pain. Shabbat Shalom!
For joint pain, also try sleeping on the top of a heated blanket. I swear by it, and some bent knee leg lifts. Eat watermelon or cucumber, this might help a bit, too.
I love a list & love a routine, my evening routine starts usually about now 5pm (in the UK) pick (tidy) the house up, whiz the vacuum round, set out all the stuff for our evening meal, then my husband comes in from work & we sit & talk over a cup of tea about our day as you say its a lovely way to stay connected 😊
In the evening I try to turn my phone off an hour and a half before bed. Which gives me time to relax and clean a little. It also stops me looking at videos for an hour in bed. I do agree waking up to a clean kitchen is amazing.
Feel very happy for u ma'am ..after all u jewish people have been through throughout the history. U are still soo rooted in your culture and tradition and i have huge respect for jews. God bless u . And especially I love ur modesty From India 🇮🇳..
I do the general tidying up at night. I clean the kitchen, and do a quick vacuum of the living areas. I also cut up fruits and veggie for my grandchildren for the next day. I try to get laundry put away, shower, do my skincare. Blessings! ❤
Laying out the kids clothes the night before makes the morning easier. And I also have the habit of cleaning out my fridge on Sunday night, so I know what I have for my grocery list. And kudos for teaching your kids to pick up!
I take a bath at night and use Epsom salts a couple of times a week. I have RA, osteoarthritis and a disease that causes very sore muscles. I have a young adult daughter at home in very poor health and I help her or just have an evening talk with her to help with the anxiety of dealing with complex health problems at such a young age. I pray in bed now as opposed to maybe traditional kneeling or together with my family. We’re all at different places in our life. I read on my iPad and I have a few different books I’m reading right now. I use the iPad so I can adjust the light and font. My eyes are damaged from this illness so that really helps me. I prefer a tangible, paper book to touch and smell. It doesn’t always workout though. I love the idea of setting clothes out. I struggle every day trying to figure out what to wear. The clothes I wear also affect the stiffness of my body and the muscle aches. I think I’m going to put together a weeks worth of clothes (likes garanimals used to) and that way I can switch to outfit number 3 for example if number 1 isn’t comfortable that day. I love your videos and seeing the kids grow up. It reminds me of a much simple time in my life that I wish I could go back and live again. We all have to grow, mature and learn life’s lessons to become our best self’s so I’ll roll with this stage of life. Oh and at some point I speak to my husband and my son’s in college as they’re coming and going! I certainly cannot forget them.❤️
The Shema is my absolute favorite prayer in our faith. I have to put my phone away and read until I'm sleepy. Thanks for the tip about getting my close ready the night before. Shabbat Shalom, Chana and family.
I have prepared my clothes for the entire work week for the past 20 years , it started when a new supervisor was assigned to my unit. They removed our Flex Time option, so I had to think of how to save time in the morning and weekly preparation was it. Like you I check the weather (and NY weather can fluctuate) gather my outfits and iron them on one day for the upcoming week. Standing in front of the closet , pushing hangers and deciding on a top and bottom , whether skirt or pants is such a time drainer. Now I get up ,take a shower , wash my face, brush my teeth and grab my outfit for the day.
I’m also an evening shower person, I like going to bed nice and clean, also setting my clothes out the night before. I think it’s a hangover from when I was working and got up very early to go to work.
When I was younger, I showered at night. I also set out my clothes at night and pack as much of my lunch as I can 😊 I can't say that im ever happy to get out of bed but I am much less stressed in the mornings now 😅
I've always felt like I would be someone who would benefit from a to-do list but I never take the time to make one, I should fix that, tonight I'll bring a notebook to bed and fill out some to-dos for tomorrow to leave on my nightstand. I love your nightly date with Mr. Firefly idea, I think all couples would benefit from that.
Talking about getting clothes ready for the next day, when our son was young, he would sleep in his clothes for the next day to save time in the morning. He was very creased in the morning, but it was his way of coping with struggling with time in the morning.
Okay but you are so relatable about intentionally 'going to sleep' without waiting until you are falling asleep reading or doom scrolling. It always means my krias Shema lacks the kavanah it could have had (or I chas v'shalom have forgotten it on occasion) simply because i was distracted with overtiredness instead of capping my night with an intentional decision to go to bed. I've just found you from a friend's recommendation and am interested in starting a YT channel too as a frum Montessori-friendly SAHM. I feel your channel will definitely be a huge resource in my daily life for awhile as I look for wholesome frum-creator content to help me replace the more mindless shtus I have been consuming as of late. Thanks for this wonderful video! I'm definitely going to try a few if these tips that I haven't done before. Cheers!
First I would like to say the bloopers were super cute this video! I absolutely cannot go to sleep if my kitchen is messy. I do a quick tidy up as well. My house does not get as messy these days because we are empty nesters now. I usually read before bed or play some mindless game on my kindle. Which is not the best choice for shutting down your mind! Prayer is the last thing I do. I am team shower in the morning. 🥰 Have a blessed week and a wonderful Shabbat! 🥰🙏❤
I love this kind of video content. My routine is ...I leave my apartment after work and go get lemonade or whatever drinks including tea/coffee from Panera Bread because I am on their drink club thing, then do whatever activities/errands but I shower at the gym like clockwork every single night for an hour. That's right an entire hour is devoted to that long hot shower. I blow dry my hair in the winter only or on church night but that shower then short drive home just gets me winding down. I do 15 minutes first on a movie treadmill just to move because I sit in a chair all day. When I get home, I feed the dog, and write in my little book kind of like you do, but I need to pick out clothes!!! That would really help me. I also play guitar for a few minutes then watch youtube. LIke, now, I am watching you on RUclips. Yep, I rewatch older videos as well, because they are just as fun.
I also put my clothes for the next morning in a bin on my dresser. After I am dressed, I put my pajamas in the bin for the evening. It does help a lot!
Jar of Fire Flies, Nice that you share your night routine with us. Shalom, Peace be until you and your family. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.🔯🎇🛐🕎🪅👐🥂🎊🎉🎉👍🙋🏾♀️🙏👊😂👼🏾💃🏾🏃🏾♀️🤗👏😇🥳.
Hello Chana, The Shema is such a beautiful prayer. For my night routine, I do similar things. Although, I now feel inspired to move my phone to a dresser as well, as I am prone to picking it up and looking at it. In the evenings, I will say my prayers, read some religious books, and then when I am done with that, I start reading other books. I particularly enjoy reading historical fiction and cozy mysteries. The last thing I try to do before drifting off to sleep is focus on all the good things that happened in my day and feel gratitude for them. Thanks for sharing.
I do enjoy cozy mysteries, and lately I’ve been Reading a historical cozy mystery, which has been so much fun! I love how you focus on all the good things right before you fall asleep, that must really hope you have a great night sleep ❤️
Hi Chana: I usually shower at night and do a skin care routine. I try to keep that simple..less is more, for me, personally, as in most areas. The time spent in conversation with your husband is so important. I loved seeing your evening routine. I think a lot of us introverts tend to also be organized. Trying to start reading instead of scrolling, too! TFS this with us. Shabbat Shalom and many blessings; enjoy your weekend. Rosemarie 💖
I have been working a lot of overtime lately, so I have doing a lot of specific routines to make my life easier. I get my clothes out the night before. I get my lunch as ready as possible also & my travel cup for my morning tea. I’ve also been pre planning our meals (hubby & I) as much as I can ahead of time. Thankfully he really likes leftovers! Above all else, after my evening shower & when I’m relaxing, I set an alarm on my phone & watch to remind myself to turn everything off now & go to bed!
I’ve been setting an outfit for the next morning for a while now and it is definitely nice to have one less thing to worry about. Usually I wash the dishes, make supper, and have a nice, warm bath to unwind at night.
Love your tips for success Chana! Tidying up at night is so worth the few minutes it takes. I have recently started my day off by putting the coffee on and making my bed. Bed made and coffee is done! What a difference it makes in my mood. Next I’m working on listening to a Bible chapter at night before bed; it really relaxes me. Thank you as always Chana and God bless you and your sweet family ❤️
Reading challenge sounds interesting. I very much enjoy reading but get distracted by my phone way too much. The phone on the dresser idea is great I might try that to switch from my phone to a book at night, I wanted to do that for a while!
Good luck leaving the phone on the dresser! It was a hard switch for me. I still struggle with it. And I will talk more about the reading challenge in a few weeks!
Have to agree with the lady who said your scarf brings out the colour of your eyes. I have never had a routine and I have never been organised it's not my nature. When my children were at home mornings were wild I would say I am going to get organised and it lasts for a few days then back to normal. 💐💐💐Ireland
So many good nuggets here! I'm in the process of getting my kids into a good routine, and I need to give myself something similar. I also struggle with my phone at night. I would love to read after the kids are in bed. Also, I kind of just shower when I can. Maybe I need to be more intentional about doing it at a certain time every day. I like doing it at night, but 1. I hate sleeping with wet hair and 2. My hair looks awful if I sleep with it wet. Maybe that doesn't matter though since it's usually in a messy bun, so who cares 🤣
I also don't like going to bed with wet hair. So I totally get that. For me, I only wash my hair once a week so I do that on Friday before Shabbat starts and it dries before I actually go to bed that night.
wow, thats brilliant. i am awful for my fone at night. the amount of times ive dropped my fone whilst watching you tube or instagram is unbelievable lol xxx
Chana....I totally get the phone thing... I could stay up until 3am in my living room just fooling around on my phone ..not good. Now, I try to put my phone in my bedroom at about 9pm so that I am only left with a book. Then I go to sleep around 12. Have a great day!!
I put my clothes out at night every night because occasionally I have to get up at 3:45am to watch my granddaughter while daughter-in-law takes my son to work. Hard to pick out clothes when I'm half asleep.
I have a similar night routine (or night routine goal 😅😅)! Clean the dishes, set out my clothes, take a shower, charge my phone somewhere out of reach of my bed, and *attempt* to replace reading with scrolling on my phone. As of late it's been scrolling and then staying up even later reading... I think I'm going to try to set a phone bed time to combat this bad habit
I do exactly what you do. My phone is also my distraction and it never used to be, but these challenging days have kept me distracted researching and article reading. I'm challenged to pick up book reading again. This is my first love. Thank you.
Good morning Chana ❤️Sending you lots of love ,peace, and blessings this day. Let me tell you, I have been binge watching your content. I have four children also. Two are under two and I find myself exhausted by ten . My husband and I always squeeze in some conversation in between his work schedule and my mom life as well. We also have dates to the grocery as well. Lol. This was awesome
Wow, our morning and night routines are almost exactly the same, minus the laying clothes out the night before (I have a habit of changing my clothes multiple times a day depending on my activities) ... I smiled at your skincare routine, because I'm the same way, I just use a moisturizer, I have a few that I love 1) pond's dry skin cream 2) Nivea soft 3) dove intensive cream.... I love a good old fashioned cold creme that smells like my grandma. On the occasion I do wear makeup, I remove it with Pond's cold cream and dove bar soap for the nostalgia factor, the scent is nostalgic, and lastly they actually are very nice products that are gentle on the skin... The dove bar soap is even sulfate free now! .... I love smelling like my grandma first thing in the morning and right before bed. It soothes me, brings back happy memories and helps me sleep better.
Hi Chana, being single I do not do a list but will start. When working I always make my lunch for work or prep some things for breakfast but that is about it. I enjoy your videos greatly!!!
I am happy that you are so very well organized. At night, I listen to the radio and before I go to sleep I daven. I do suggest that you get into the topic of both Jewish music and other form of music that you enjoy and recommend.
Listening to your day in my life, makes me relax, like you I am not a phone person, I could live with out it, it’s so small I struggle to read it, I like my iPad,bigger . Thanks for sharing your life, I find it very interesting.
i usually turn off my phone and leave it charge in the kitchen. Once in bed i read..no phone distraction etc. I also send the dogs off to their beds too....
I love this video! People think it's weird to have a bedtime ritual but for me it really helps get a full nights sleep. I typically take my dog out for his last outing of the evening, give him his treats because he really is a good boy and then I check on our feral cat shelters, make sure that the food and water dishes outside are full, take my medications, take a shower while listening to music, it's typically classical and no I can't explain why that is, it just relaxes me. After that I put my phone down , read for about 45 minutes, shut everything off and meditate before I get to bed.. I'm an early bedtime person. I like to be in bed by ten because I'm typically awake at around 6am. Between the great house hunt and life it's been really hard trying to stick with my normal routines but just like everything else, it's a work in progress.
I love that you have a routine too! Your routine sounds very nice. I especially like that you include your dog in your routine. In our house Mr. Firefly takes care of Bella at night :-)
@@jaroffireflies our children's needs and our animals needs always come first and the health benefits of owning a dog have been amazing! We walk about 2 miles in the morning and at night depending on the weather. I've lost about 45 pounds just walking him and it's quiet time that I don't typically get around here.
Ugh! The phone!! It consumes a lot of my time too! But sometimes it is SO relaxing to escape into RUclips!! But I really need a cut off time at night and start time in the morning. The phone is really starting to take over😢. I want to get on my phone as soon as I wake! Not good!! Agree with shower at night! Saves so much time in the morning!!!!
I have such a love-hate relationship with my phone. I was just thinking this morning about Star Trek, because I grew up watching Star Trek the next generation, and they had all this amazing technology but nobody on the show walked around with something like a phone all the time, It’s like they anticipated the technology but no idea how it would affect us
@@jaroffireflies right!!!! I feel the same! Not a Trekkie, but I loved the Jetsons. 😂We are now living like them with the video calls, etc! We will have to manage the phone on our own because I don’t think Big Tech really cares how this affects us😢
I also set out my clothing for the next day and it makes a surprisingly big difference in the morning! I'm guilty of scrolling on my phone until I fall asleep. Usually laying on the phone when I wake up :)
Hi Channa, nice content today, for me to sleep I need to be sleepy, no matter what I’m doing. If I have time I shut off the phone if not I sleep in the middle of something😂. Whatever works that night.
Every evening l have a small bowl of berries, usually blackberries! Nothing about the habit really helps me the next day (haha), but I really love having them as I read a book or work on my weaving!
I set out my daughters clothes for the next day and i also have a shower at night it’s so relaxing and I’m not going to bed yucky after a big day I always read before bed but then I’ll look at my phone and next thing I know hours have gone by again lol
Thank you! I get my clothes from a lot of different places. I made a video and included a lot of links, you can watch it here: ruclips.net/video/p_gsxfkhQ6U/видео.html enjoy!
Hi Chana, great night time routine, I have a question to miss having your hair without a scarfe or your ok wearing it? I don't wear head coverings but I do have my hair up for the past 10 years, is just very comfortable to have it up and not to think about it on my face you know. Well the green head covering it brings your eye color out n very pretty color. Take care to you and your beautiful family. I miss seeing baby firefly little legs, hands and his beautiful head. 👶💌
I do not miss having my hair uncovered. Its so much easier to have it covered, and now if it's down, I feel like its always in my face. Sounds like you know what I mean :) Thank you for your kind words!
I suggest that at some point you do a video about mental health and the Blue Dove Foundation. In my opinion, it would be a very popular video. Shavua Tov!
My day is starting to end earlier now that I'm able to move around more! 😄 I, too, read before bed. My husband gave me a Kindle about 12 years ago and I've gone through 3! My current one is lighted so I don't need a book light. I usually read until the book falls because I'm dozing off! 😂 I also make sure my husband and I exchange a hug and kiss. No one is guaranteed a next day so I want to make sure there are no regrets. (Sorry didn't mean to get morbid.) I also wanted to let you know that since watching you do your start the day routine, I have taken to just sitting quietly with my cup of coffee. My husband wakes up a couple of hours after me so I have quiet reflective time. You've inspired me to just be quiet and be thankful. 😘 Thanks again for sharing your life. Have a great weekend. 💚
Oh I love that you have started incorporating some new things into your morning routine! Thank you so much for telling me! And I love that you always give your husband a hug before bed, because you are so right nothing is guaranteed
So glad you enjoyed!!! To answer your question… it varies. Some days I pop out of bed at 5am and I’m first, other days I wake up and it’s already 7 and he’s gone.
Great vlog as usual, I always tidy up before going to bed, something my late Mother always did ,so it must have rubbed off on me,take care and stay safe
Where did you get your book light? I've been looking for something to place on my night stand, but I haven't found anything that works yet. Also, maybe having that will inspire me to read more.
I love your videos. I have seen several Orthodox Jewish channels, but you make it more understandable and natural. Also, where did you get your bed lamp. I would love to have one.
If you go out for fast food where can you go to keep Kosher? What can you order? If I go to MCDs for breakfast, I order an egg Mc muffin, no bacon. I don’t know if it is 100% Kosher, but it is kosher enough for me.
Great question! If I’m going out to eat the only options are kosher restaurants, or purchasing something at the deli counter at our local kosher grocery store. So in my area that’s just a handful of places
So glad you enjoyed! If you check the description, there are some other evening routines listed there that I have done in the past that include the kids more
Let me know something you do that helps your day end well or your next day start right ❤

Oh yes! Shower at night definitely . It helps to sleep and it gives me more free time in the morning.

Going (watching) church online helps the rest of my week go so much better.

Great routine!
I like to declutter my condo before bed, put things away, clean the kitchen, clear the table. It’s nice to wake up to a clean place!! ❤️🥰
It really is!

Okay, the last step of intentionally going to sleep....ooh, I love that prayer too, I want to try that. Thanks for sharing that.

Your evenings sound fun!
I also put my clothes for the next morning in a bin on my dresser. After I am dressed, I put my pajamas in the bin for the evening. It does help a lot!
It definitely helps!
I do that all the time! It helps so much, especially when if I'm cleaning the house tomorrow, or if I'm just lounging.
Jar of Fire Flies, Nice that you share your night routine with us. Shalom, Peace be until you and your family. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.🔯🎇🛐🕎🪅👐🥂🎊🎉🎉👍🙋🏾♀️🙏👊😂👼🏾💃🏾🏃🏾♀️🤗👏😇🥳.
Thank you! Happy thanksgiving!
I just wish I was your best friend. I watch your videos to calm me and make me smile. Such a shame we'll never meet, sending lots of love.
Aw thank you :)
Hello Chana,
The Shema is such a beautiful prayer.
Good morning
Good morning Fatima!
Rosemarie 💖
I totally relate about the phone being a challenge!!!
Love all that! I need to get better at meal planning too 😊
I make sure kitchen and things are put away then a relaxing shower. Cup of chamile tea and a biscuit
Love the tea at night :) such a great idea
I’ve been setting an outfit for the next morning for a while now and it is definitely nice to have one less thing to worry about. Usually I wash the dishes, make supper, and have a nice, warm bath to unwind at night.
Sounds lovely :)
Thank you
i luv ur kitchen..so beautiful in blacknwhite
Thank you so much 😊
Reading challenge sounds interesting.
The green Tichel hun, 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
❤️❤️❤️
I really like your routine. You give me food for thought. I do a few things, but not consistent.
Glad you enjoyed :)
Have to agree with the lady who said your scarf brings out the colour of your eyes. I have never had a routine and I have never been organised it's not my nature. When my children were at home mornings were wild I would say I am going to get organised and it lasts for a few days then back to normal. 💐💐💐Ireland
Thank you :)
Loving your schedule... as I watch this video at 2AM
🙈
LOL Hope you got some sleep later!
I like the pretty colors on you today! You have been blessed with good skin for sure.
Thank you Cheryl!
that nightly date idea is so smart!
It’s made a really big difference for us
If I were to make a list of what things that keep me organized the number one thing would be making a LIST!
😂😂😂
My Beth and PJs help me wind down. Fun video, thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome!
i cant stand dirty dishes in sink! yes me too- tidy up. i have hottea pray n read for an hour before bed
Love that! So nice :)
HELLO CHANA,NICE VIEDO MY NIGHT ROUTINE IS CLEANING THE KITCHEN TAKING A HOT SHOWER AND READING THE BIBLE I MISS SEEING BABY FIREFLIES 👶 TODAY🥰🦋🦋🦋🌻🌻🌻🐝
Baby firefly will be back next week!
wow, thats brilliant. i am awful for my fone at night. the amount of times ive dropped my fone whilst watching you tube or instagram is unbelievable lol xxx
I know exactly what you mean!
@@jaroffireflies lol, I really need to be more like you x
Chana....I totally get the phone thing... I could stay up until 3am in my living room just fooling around on my phone ..not good. Now, I try to put my phone in my bedroom at about 9pm so that I am only left with a book. Then I go to sleep around 12. Have a great day!!
Thanks Trish! I hope you’re having a great day to 💐
I put my clothes out at night every night because occasionally I have to get up at 3:45am to watch my granddaughter while daughter-in-law takes my son to work. Hard to pick out clothes when I'm half asleep.
Exactly! Less decisions when we’re tired! And wow you in the grandma award, that’s amazing ❤️
Good morning Chana and Firefly kiddos 💕
Good morning!
Second comment to say I love the bloopers at the end 🤣
So glad you enjoyed those Jessie :)
I think I am going to try getting my clothes out the night before. Thank you for going over this.
You are so welcome!
I think gold is great word, the thing with the phone is definitely a goal for me I’m still not very good at leaving it on my dresser
Tea…lots and lots of Earl grey tea
Yum! ☕️
I like to make sure my place is clean, just like you do!
Its such a good feeling!
I do exactly what you do. My phone is also my distraction and it never used to be, but these challenging days have kept me distracted researching and article reading. I'm challenged to pick up book reading again. This is my first love. Thank you.
Enjoy your books! I didn’t read much for a long time and have recently been reading lots again :)
Thank you so much 🤗 I’m so happy that you’re enjoying the videos. And I love that you and your husband have that conversation as well 💐
Wow, our morning and night routines are almost exactly the same, minus the laying clothes out the night before (I have a habit of changing my clothes multiple times a day depending on my activities) ...
Aw love that!!!
Have a good happy Thanksgiving for you and your family. Stay well😊
Thank you! You too!
Hi Chana, being single I do not do a list but will start. When working I always make my lunch for work or prep some things for breakfast but that is about it. I enjoy your videos greatly!!!
Thanks for sharing! And thank you for your kind words :) I wish I did more meal prep
I am happy that you are so very well organized. At night, I listen to the radio and before I go to sleep I daven. I do suggest that you get into the topic of both Jewish music and other form of music that you enjoy and recommend.
Thank you for your suggestion!
Listening to your day in my life, makes me relax, like you I am not a phone person, I could live with out it, it’s so small I struggle to read it, I like my iPad,bigger . Thanks for sharing your life, I find it very interesting.
Thank you Lin :)
i usually turn off my phone and leave it charge in the kitchen. Once in bed i read..no phone distraction etc. I also send the dogs off to their beds too....
Love that!
Enjoyed the video. I don’t really have a night routine, but I do enjoy playing a round of Bingo on my phone. Wishing you a blessed Shabbat.
Thank you Shawn!
Hi chana!
I would love to watch a video about parenting, how you are dealing with Guilt feeling etc... ❤️
Thank you for the suggestion!
Skin routine and prayers, read until I can't keep my eyes open, then sleep....as always a pleasure to watch and learn.....
Thank you Janith 💜 I love that you read to you can’t keep your eyes open
Good video. The last thing you mentioned resonated with me
Keep it up.
Awesome! Thank you! 💐
Ugh!
That phone, it’s my kryptonite too I get it
Yes my house has to go to bed with me lol. Do the same thing, especially the kitchen!
Yes!!
Hi Channa, nice content today, for me to sleep I need to be sleepy, no matter what I’m doing. If I have time I shut off the phone if not I sleep in the middle of something😂. Whatever works that night.
Thank you!
Lol Chana I put my bin in the bathroom for the next morning. This is funny that others do this too. I thought it was just me. 🤷♀️
Definitely not just you! Judging from the comments, there are quite a few of us!
Every evening l have a small bowl of berries, usually blackberries! Nothing about the habit really helps me the next day (haha), but I really love having them as I read a book or work on my weaving!
Yum! Also, so cool that you are a weaver! I would love to pick that up one day :)
I set out my daughters clothes for the next day and i also have a shower at night it’s so relaxing and I’m not going to bed yucky after a big day I always read before bed but then I’ll look at my phone and next thing I know hours have gone by again lol
That phone gets me every time too!
@@jaroffireflies it really does it's shocking lol I'm trying so hard to not look at my phone when I'm in bed lol
Mrs. Fireflies, do you have a specific store where you purchase your skirts and tops? I love your style.
Thank you! I get my clothes from a lot of different places. I made a video and included a lot of links, you can watch it here: ruclips.net/video/p_gsxfkhQ6U/видео.html enjoy!
Hi Chana. You have proven yet again that you have it all together.. I wish I was as organized as you are.
You are so kind :)
@@jaroffireflies I feel the same way, I don't have it covered but it's up all the time.
I suggest that at some point you do a video about mental health and the Blue Dove Foundation. In my opinion, it would be a very popular video. Shavua Tov!
Thank you for the suggestion!
Hope that you and your family had a joyous Shabbos and a fantastic Thanksgiving!
We leave all electrical devises in the kitchen. But I see why you need your close by, it being a medical alert system.
Leaving it in another room is awesome!
Lots of good suggestions here Chana. Thanks for sharing. Hope your day is going well 🌹
Thank you! You too!
@@jaroffireflies 💚
I love your routines wether morning or night. They are very inspiring 😊❤
I'm so glad! Thank you so much!
those bloopers! CRACK ME UP!!! 🤣 so curious...who rises first you or Mr. Firefly?
So glad you enjoyed!!! To answer your question… it varies. Some days I pop out of bed at 5am and I’m first, other days I wake up and it’s already 7 and he’s gone.
Love your head scarf Chana. 🙂
Thank you Laura 😊
Great vlog as usual, I always tidy up before going to bed, something my late Mother always did ,so it must have rubbed off on me,take care and stay safe
Thanks you Jane :)
Where did you get your book light? I've been looking for something to place on my night stand, but I haven't found anything that works yet. Also, maybe having that will inspire me to read more.
I just looked around on Amazon, they have a lot of good deals on things like book lights
I love your videos. I have seen several Orthodox Jewish channels, but you make it more understandable and natural. Also, where did you get your bed lamp. I would love to have one.
Thank you for your kind thank you Alice 💜 Did you mean my book light? I got it from Amazon
Very nice ❣️
Thanks 🤗
If you go out for fast food where can you go to keep Kosher? What can you order? If I go to MCDs for breakfast, I order an egg Mc muffin, no bacon. I don’t know if it is 100% Kosher, but it is kosher enough for me.
Great question! If I’m going out to eat the only options are kosher restaurants, or purchasing something at the deli counter at our local kosher grocery store. So in my area that’s just a handful of places
Love the bloopers😂
So glad you enjoyed!
I am always making lists!! On my phone, on paper! I couldn’t exist without lists!!! 😂
Same!! 😂
Great video! I feel like another fun one would be your bedtime routine for putting your kiddos down.
So glad you enjoyed! If you check the description, there are some other evening routines listed there that I have done in the past that include the kids more
