The Holy Trinity isn't illogical, the burden of proof is on unitarians and muslims who claim so. If God is unitarian what was there for him to love before he made everything, love is necessarily expresed between 2 or more people?
Yo i got a question, What does it mean that the Father and the Son are the Divine Essence, and what does it mean they are materially identical to the Divine Essence?
Peace be with you Friend ❤️ The phrase “Essence of God” is a theological term used to refer to God's personal characteristics, or to the facets of His personality.
There is no logical problem of the Trinity because the doctrine is based in faith, not reason. If the Trinity is the true nature of God, then the strange reasoning of a medieval philosopher does not change that truth. Nobody can prove the Trinity any more than they cán prove the existence of God. It is a question of faith.
Can I substitute the conception of son to the conception of mother, explaining the same concept given, but foccusing on the passive nature of filiation to the feminine nature and the active nature of action and intelligence in the figure of father? The Persons of The Trinity are one physically but different mentally? God's thoughts generate things into being, so God thinking of Himself generates The Son and The Will of doing so is The Spirit? And since all Three are God, all have always been since God cannot have been created. And since God cannot be made up of parts but is wholly one all three have always been?
No, the persons are one in an absolute sense via their divine nature but distinct relatively via their relations that subsist in the essence via relative opposition opposition.
I would love someone to explain why Jesus is half naked in these pictures. A high priest is supposed to wear decent clothes. Also sometimes the Father is bald, which makes no sense according to Leviticus.
Didn't you just show how the Trinity can be found by natural theology though? Starting from a generic 'supreme being' or Actus Purus who has an intellect and will, you showed through reason alone that there must be 2 persons which differ esse ad, generated through self-intellection and loving will, and a 3rd person who is the principle which is ungenerated but generates the other persons.
@tonywang7601 No. If reason or philosophy alone were to be used to describe the Pure Act, then it would be discovered that His knowledge of Himself is not self-reflexive. For reference, read Summa Theologiae prima pars, question 14, most especially its Article 2’s first objection, then read “I answer that…”, and the Reply to the first objection.

Isaiah chapter 55:8-9. Enough of trying to explain in theological assumptions and terms. In Isaiah his WAY S are not understood. “Hear O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is ONE (Echad) Erm, do you know what the word “Echad” can refer to? It can refer to multiple entities who form a unity like in Genesis 2, here we see the word “Echad” is being used to refer to the unity of the male and the female” “And they shall be one (Echad) flesh.” So the word “One” or Echad can refer to multiple entities who form a unity.
“Hear O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is ONE" This "one" is english translation from the word hebrew,"echad", which in Bahasa Indonesia is "esa", which derived from ancient language Sansekerta / Pali word "etad" meaning "wholly one". Our Indonesian bible use the word "esa" instead of "one"

@Daniel_Godismyjudge--Isah33.22 the books all are mouth wording not originals, there is not any book or relic just written by a prophet, all are transferred and modified by the time.
The Trinity model of who God is falls down of its own weight. All we have to do is know the definition of one of God’s attributes given by the apostles specifically the apostle Paul. This is what Paul writes in 1 Timothy 6:16 “ who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see.”, This statement in reference to the Father, who is the only True God according to Jesus in John 17:3, tell us that God alone is immortal which should suffice to conclude that Jesus is not God because he died. If the rebuttal is that the body of Jesus died, then the question is, What was conceived in Mary and what was born of Mary the body of Jesus or Jesus? The answer is Jesus of course. Also, we can’t ignore the scriptures specially Genesis 2, where Adam was made from the ground and compare him with Jesus who was made in the womb of a woman. Adam was then given a spirit (breath of life), it is to note that Adam is NOT the spirit given from God, and also Jesus received a spirit from God just like Adam did, that spirit is not a person, Jesus received the Spirit of God later at his baptism. Jesus is purely human, therefore the Trinity is false. Jesus is the son of the Most High, and the Spirit is the Spirit of the Most High, his manifested power, not another person, the Trinity is completely a human made up construct.
Wrong! A human can be a businessman, a golfer, a father, but God can be only one thing? The Trinity: The Father: Supreme Consciousness: The Transcendent God; beyond creation. The Son: Christ Consciousness; God Consciousness in Creation; in humanity. The Holy Spirt or Holy Ghost: The Word; The Vibration or Motion that structures and maintains creation, or what is manifest. Chinese philosophy has it that nothing happens without Three and it is the case. No, the elements or matter did not create the universe(s). Consciousness; Mind: Elements. The first is fundamental to reality, the latter two are elemental emerging with quantum events. The Mind a subtler elemental than the macro elements of space and the micro elements of quantum space. The definition of religion is that to which we are bound which is reality; one and the same. And no, life did not start in a muddy pond somewhere. Darwinism is a worm’s eye view of reality. Religion is a bird’s eye view of reality. At the cusp of a quantum age only the bird’s eye view makes sense. In addition with communism defeated the next atheistic ideology is trans humanism. Religion will be a bulwark against it as it was against the Dark Occult on the rise from the Dark Age to The Age of Reason. No, our minds are not for sale to the latest atheistic ideology we will stay with what is fundamental to life and reality and has been in all cultures over time; even the most primitive. NO to trans humanism. Consciousness is ‘the hard problem’ for atheistic philosophy. They will have to make a major paradigm shift in consciousness and mental perspective before they can figure it out. My bet is it will remain ‘the hard problem’ for them. They can analyze the elemental what is fundamental cannot be analyzed as it predates the mind.
If Christians cannot, or do not understand, the Trinity, then their clergy is not doing their job. It is necessary to see and understand God in all manifestations. Transcendent; Immanent in Creation; and the Force that began, sustains, and eventually will withdraw creation. Father; Son, Holy Ghost.
@ So your understanding of who God is comes from Chinese philosophers? I use the Bible and the words of Jesus to get this information. Human philosophy is from our imagination which does not reflect reality. God from the Torah is ONE being not three in one. Words nowadays have lost their meaning. Check out Deuteronomy 6:4-15, the LORD our God is ONE, not three. Jesus made this clear talking to an scribe. Isaiah 44:24 says “ I am Yahweh, who makes all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself”. Isaiah 45:12 “ I have made the earth, and created man on it, I, even my hands, have stretched the heavens”, first person singular pronoun, very simple. God also calls himself “ I am the existing one”, So stop with these human philosophy which distorts who God is, use the Bible and not empty philosophies.
@ Why we do not understand the Trinity? Because is incoherent, absurd, and does not conform with the teachings of the Bible. God can manifest his presence in fire, lightning, thunder but it does not mean that He changes his nature and becomes whatever He wants. Jesus said God is Spirit, John 4:24, and James says that God never changes James 1:17, also in 1 Timothy 6:16, God, who is the Father of Jesus, alone has immortality and shares this with those who come to Him in faith by means of His Spirit in us. God is ONE, YHWH, OR YAWEH, not a substance made of three persons, including one who died when we know that God cannot die, read your Bible and stay away from human philosophy.
@ Yes God is One, and all things in Creation are in His Mind. The Old Testament is about God in the sky, who punished humans just because he could, that was how it was, except to the prophets who were all killed as they saw it otherwise. The New Testament is about God as Omnipresent, being everywhere. As how could He be Omnipresent and not be everywhere?” That is why it is ‘not an Eye for an Eye or a Tooth for a Tooth anymore but LOVE your neighbor as yourself. The Dark Age is over, time to move on. Otherwise, as we sow we reap and if we live by the sword we perish by the sword, and what happens bears this out. Extend an olive branch at least, that would help. We are still in the age of Pisces, whose symbols are the Fish and the Virgin. Pisces and Virgo. The fish became a symbol and Christ was seen as a fisher of men. The Age of Aries the Ram (Aggression)and the Scales of Justice (the law) has pasted. Now it is about the spirit of the law, not just the outer rituals of the law. Hands were ritually washed and that is a good thing today as well. Wine was drunk as the water was polluted. Every age has its own religion according to what sign it is under The Egyptians had theirs and so had the Sumerians and all others before. There are those who fall behind and do not enter the new age and there will likely be Christians who fall behind even though Christianity is not just about what is out there; but also a transcendent God who is also within; consciousness; Christ consciousness. Its real meaning is apparent to some while others worship symbolically. There are many who observe the rituals but do not get it and Consciousness is ‘the hard problem’ for atheistic philosophy today. No harm in mentioning that, as it is relevant. There are Christians who live more by the Old Testament than the New Testament because they prefer to and Christ’s message goes totally over their heads. They do not understand that ‘A New Jerusalem” refers to a broader state of consciousness, symbolically, not to a physical New Jerusalem where Christ will appear again. His message and its application to their own consciousness and in their lives are missing. The Second Coming is not about their conversion to better behavior but to a Second Coming in ‘a new Jerusalem where the physical Jerusalem is’ and that through faith alone they will be saved. The Church has said ‘Faith without works is dead.’ And it is the case, be a Sunday preacher and an adulterer on other days, that is not how it works. Again, ‘faith without works is dead.’ Christ said ye are gods with the potential to relate to the Supreme God; the Father. The prophets saw that, and they were all put to death, to the ignorant it is heresy and much has not changed today, unfortunately.
Rom 10 9 a Christian believes that Jesus is the risen son of God and this our salvation through faith. nowhere in that formulation are we required to believe that - in any sense - Jesus is the same person as God. I can find a verse that "proves" that Peter was satan, and i would "defend" that "doctrine" successfully using that one verse!!! (you know which one(s)). but we don't make prudent doctrine on 1 or 12 verses, we make it using the whole bible. God always called Jesus his son, and Jesus always called God "Father." God and Jesus are not trinitarians. God does not believe that he was incarnated as Jesus. dual nature, incarnation, God the Son: none of these phrases are in the Bible For Jesus' death to have been possible (gods don't die) and meaningful, Jesus had to be a man. When Jesus ascended, God made Jesus a god and now Jesus sits at the right hand of God. Jesus does not sit at his own right hand. Also note that there is not a third throne to God's left because the Holy Spirit is not personally separable from God any more than you are from your soul. We may have no other gods before God (which trinitarians violate, using their three headed triangle god that became its own son), but there can be other gods (psalm 81), we can have other gods (Jesus), but none before God. there may be some verses which, if read a certain way, can be read to support trinity theory. there are thousands of verses which permit no other reasonable interpretation other than to prohibit trinity theory. God is one. One means one. Son means son. Father means father. words have meanings, and trinitarians simply do not care.
Peace be with you Friend ❤️ Because Jesus is The Son of God, he is God. Not God the Father, but the Son. The Word was with God & was God & the Word came in the Flesh(John 1:1,14).
In John 1:18, the Greek Word "Μονογενής/Monogene"(for Only Begotten) is used to claim that Jesus is Unique from all the others sons of God, because he has the Same Essence as God the Father.
@proseyootoob We didn't, the Doctrine of it Exists in the Bible. The Words were made out of that Doctrine. For Example; God the Son means "Christ regarded as the second person of the Trinity; God as incarnate and resurrected saviour." Jesus is definitely God as Incarnated (John 1:1,14). & He definitely is the Resurrected Saviour(Matthew 28:6). So, God the Son is Biblical ❤️✝️. Something's essence tells us what it is at the most fundamental level. The phrase “Essence of God” is a theological term used to refer to God's personal characteristics, or to the facets of His personality.
I am a Christian who does not believe in the trinity. Before anyone attacks me I’d ask you consider a few things, and I am happy to hear more people’s explanation of the trinity if perhaps I have misunderstood! 1. I find the argument of essence to be non-specific and therefore not substantive for defending the doctrine of the trinity. ie, seems to me like the concept of the trinity was created and then various arguments formed after the fact in an attempt to explain a confusing doctrine. Arguments such as one being and three persons or sharing divine essence. 2. This is admittedly a tired argument against the trinity, but I find it more compelling nonetheless. There are a myriad of interactions between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit recorded in the scriptures which suggest to me that each exercises His own agency as an independent being, although all unified with each other. 3. The vision of Stephen during his martyrdom at the end of Acts 7 I just can’t reconcile with the trinity. He saw specifically God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. Anthropomorphized, separate beings. 4. In my opinion, this course of my study is the principle point which made me question the trinity. The trinity rests upon the idea that God is “one.” But what if “one” was misinterpreted by the early councils? True, in scripture God is described as one, but never specifically as one being. To understand “one,” I look to Genesis 2:24. A man and his wife become “one” flesh. Does this mean that husband and wife become one being? I personally don’t think so. But a person could argue that here, “one” is being used in a different context than it is as describes God. Fair enough. When offering His intercessory prayer (John 17), Jesus used it in a very illuminating way. Specifically, verses 11 and 20-23. Here, He prays not only for His apostles but all who believe in Him. And, He prays that they may be one with Him and He specifies that He is using the word “one” in precisely the same way that He and the Father are one. So if to be one means to be the same being, then there is no trinity at all but a billionity. It seems apparent to me that to be one means to be one in unity and purpose. With this in mind, reading the New Testament it starts to be clear. Jesus constantly emphasized that He was submitting to the will of the Father. It is His obedience to the Father that makes Him one with the Father (who, by the way, Jesus Himself refuted being coequal with in John 14:28). I genuinely do not intend to attack the faith of any who adhere to the trinity, simply presenting my belief on it. I recognize there is so much resistance to arguments against the trinity, because so much of Christianity has been built off this and it raises other theological questions. I invite any additional considerations you may think are important! In the end, Christ is our Lord and Savior and I love Him with all my heart. Great video, I really appreciate learning more about the trinity so I thank you.
I would place my arguments to show your misunderstanding but I am actually n tired of explaining. So this is Short. - what Stephen Say is The Glorified Christ at the Right Hand of the Father. Remember it says the Word because flesh, the Person of the Son became incarnate. The Divine Word and Divine Spirit are Of the One God the Father. - the Word of God as Scripture says is Begotten of The Father as it Is the One that is the expression of the Father ( the one that reveals him to creation and the One by Whom all things are created) Some Called the Holy Spirit the Energy preceding from a the Father or according to the Faith the Life Giver So It’s Like This Formulation. The Father Creates by His Word through his Spirit… I am in no way Talking about the Active spoken word but the Divine Word which is said To be The Power, The Wisdom, and Expression of the Father.
There is no such thing as a Christian who doesn't believe in the Trinity. It's like a married bachelor or a square circle. If you actively object to the Trinity as a fact of faith, then you're not a Christian.
@ thanks for the response! So my question would be what does it mean to be one? What do you make of John 17 and in what way are believers in Christ one with Him and the Father?
Okey So it's our problem that your doctrine is illogical and it doesn't make a freaking sense 😂 what's even funny is jesus never preached this doctrine, the prophets of the old testament never preached it as well. If the trinity was the truth we would have to see it everywhere in the old testament but it's just something the early fathers pulled from their asses in the council of nicaea. Nice try but you will never convince people that this doctrine makes any freaking sense
Peace be with you Friend ❤️ Both Old & New Testament shows the Doctrine of the Trinity. It is More apperant in the New Testament, but there is Hint of it in OT.

Man. It's so hard to watch a channel that's well produced but acts so intellectually dishonest and works as a constant apologist for its faith. A shame- truly.
@@gvastida We who have faith don’t believe blindly, therefore the faith needs to be defended, so of course apologetics is necessary as with any other worldview.
The first part can be debated but the second part is very confusing. Apologetics provides an explanation for the hope we have as Christian’s and when done correctly tries to bring others closer to that same hope. This video and others like it might very well be what someone needed to make it all click so really the complaint shouldn’t be too much it should be not enough.
I think the trinity can be reasoned from nature, but maybe only after the consequences of the revelation allowed it to be observed through a change in nature and our nature. The Father gave the Holy Spirit to the Son through life and its returned to the Father through service in order that there may be peace between them extending that peace to the Mother, sisters and society. The root of discord is estrangement of earthly fathers and sons who are seperate beings and must gap the void between them with the grace of the heavenly Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God only formed Himself into the Trinity and sent His Son because humanity became separated from Him, thereby at the same time revealing an insight into the boundlessness of His love for us that he would extend the bounds of His nature in order that we may enter into communion with Him by replicating His love. Because energy that turns into agapic love will never change and becomes a source of endless energy it must be also as stable form in unity with God

In that scenario, the son can´t be the Holy Spirit? If no, why not?
Trinity is similar to the unity of a human in the Body, Soul and Spirit. God is in the unity of the Father, Son and Hy Spirit!

Because the Son was Begotten, Not made, Everlastingly & by Necessity. In such a way that the Essence is Not divided.
The Holy Trinity has only one Divine Mind, not three.

Erm did u read deuteronomy 6:4 bduy
“Hear O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is ONE (Echad)

“And they shall be one (Echad) flesh.”
So the word “One” or Echad can refer to multiple entities who form a unity.
“Hear O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is ONE"

@
Yes God is One, and all things in Creation are in His Mind.
Again, ‘faith without works is dead.’
Christ said ye are gods with the potential to relate to the Supreme God; the Father. The prophets saw that, and they were all put to death, to the ignorant it is heresy and much has not changed today, unfortunately.
Can you make a Video about the Omnipresent God.
I know God can do all things
Rom 10 9 a Christian believes that Jesus is the risen son of God and this our salvation through faith. nowhere in that formulation are we required to believe that - in any sense - Jesus is the same person as God.
I can find a verse that "proves" that Peter was satan, and i would "defend" that "doctrine" successfully using that one verse!!! (you know which one(s)). but we don't make prudent doctrine on 1 or 12 verses, we make it using the whole bible.
God always called Jesus his son, and Jesus always called God "Father." God and Jesus are not trinitarians. God does not believe that he was incarnated as Jesus.
dual nature, incarnation, God the Son: none of these phrases are in the Bible
For Jesus' death to have been possible (gods don't die) and meaningful, Jesus had to be a man.
Peace be with you Friend ❤️
Because Jesus is The Son of God, he is God.

We didn't, the Doctrine of it Exists in the Bible. The Words were made out of that Doctrine.

@Sanctus
- the Word of God as Scripture says is Begotten of The Father as it Is the One that is the expression of the Father ( the one that reveals him to creation and the One by Whom all things are created)
Some Called the Holy Spirit the Energy preceding from a the Father or according to the Faith the Life Giver
So It’s Like This Formulation.
The Father Creates by His Word through his Spirit… I am in no way Talking about the Active spoken word but the Divine Word which is said To be The Power, The Wisdom, and Expression of the Father.
